Employees' Pension Scheme
The scheme ensures retirement security for employees covered under the EPF Act, offering monthly pensions, family pensions, and withdrawal benefits. It targets workers in organised sectors, providing financial support post-retirement, during disability, or to dependents after the member’s death.

Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017
The scheme aims to create an environment conducive for attracting investment in Goa, incentivise existing units, and boost local employment. It provides a subsidy based on the percentage of Goan employees hired, restricting reimbursement to ₹7,000/- per Goan employee per month.
Benefit: Reimbursement shall be restricted to ₹7,000/- per Goan employee per month. The total subsidy for Micro, Small, Medium enterprises and eco-tourism projects shall not exceed ₹25,00,000/- per annum, on a pro rata basis depending on the date of production. The total subsidy for Large enterprises shall not exceed ₹50,00,000/- per annum, on a pro rata basis depending on the date of production. Subsidy is calculated based on the ratio of percentage of Goan employment, which provides a proportional increase from 60% benefit for 60% Goan employees, up to 100% benefit for 80% and above Goan employees. Benefit Disbursal For Micro, Small, Medium enterprises and eco-tourism projects, the total wages paid to Goan employees shall be restricted to 50% before applying the reimbursement ratio. For Large enterprises, the total wages paid to Goan employees shall be restricted to 25% before applying the reimbursement ratio. The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation. The period of grant of subsidy shall not exceed seven years. Conditions _The enterprise must allow and/or grant free access to any official authorized by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce for conducting inspection/supervision of the unit or the registers or holding discussions with the employed employees for ensuring proper utilisation of the financial incentives/subsidies granted by the State Government._ _The enterprise must submit all necessary reports, information, and documents specified under the scheme or as required or directed by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) from time to time or as and when required._

Entrepreneur Support Scheme (ESS) is the most popular & attractive scheme operated by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce.The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Micro,Small&Medium Enterprises engaged in manufacturing activities in the State,proportional to capital investment made.
Benefit: Provides Subsidy for the investment in Land, Building, Plant and machinery, Electrification, Essential Office Equipment, Pollution Control Devices, and other fixed assets. 1. For the General Category, assistance is 15% of the capital investment limited to ₹30 lakh. 1. For Young (18 to 45 years), Women, SC/ST, and Non-Resident Keralite (NRK) entrepreneurs, the assistance is 25% limited to ₹40 lakh. 1. Enterprises in priority sectors are eligible for an additional assistance of 10% limited to ₹10 lakh. 1. ED/SC-ST- WISTEM)” is aimed for exploring the potential of entrepreneurship along with improvement in the livelihood options for unemployed SC & ST women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) areas using tools of Science, Technology & Innovation.
Benefit: Financial support will be for an amount of ₹20 Lakhs including institutional overheads for a period of one year. 1. The grant will cover Fellowship @ ₹35,000/- per month + 10% HRA (for M.Sc & M.Tech); ₹45,000/- per month + HRA (for Ph.D.); Capital Cost ≤ 25% of project cost (which includes minor equipment, infrastructure, rent ); Operational Cost ≤ 30% of project cost (consumables & outsource Services cost); contingency ≤ apart from institutional overhead (≤10%- subject to a maximum of ₹1.00 Lakh only). 1. In the first phase, Full Capital Cost, six months of the fellowship, 50% Operational Cost and 50% of Institutional overhead will be released to the host institution at the time of implementation of programme as soon as the start of programme is intimated to KSCSTE by the host institution. 1. In the second phase, 30% of the grant will be released (without institutional overhead), after 6 months of evaluation of the programme. 1. In the third phase, the remaining 20% of the grant and 50% of institutional overhead will be released after the successful completion of programme and submission of relevant documents to KSCSTE including onsite evaluation. 1. The institutional overhead (10% of project cost) is subject to a maximum of ₹1.00 Lakh only. 1. Maximum number of grants awarded per year would be 3 - 5 across all subject areas. Note: After a period of one year, the extension of programme period is not encouraged. Only in rare and exceptional cases, depending on the necessity and progress of programme, no-cost extension will be considered. Such a period of extension will be limited to a maximum of six months.
