The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste students to complete their education up to the secondary level and to avoid dropping out of the Scheduled Caste students from their education.

Benefit: The Scholarship shall be granted for 10 months in an academic year at the following rates: 1. ₹1,500/- per annum per student from VI to VIII Standard i.e. (₹150/- per month per student for 10 months in an academic year). 1. ₹2,500/- per annum per student from IX & X Standard i.e. (₹250/- per month per student for 10 months in an academic year).

"Award of Pre-matric Scholarship to the Students Whose Parents Are Engaged in Unclean Occupation” by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry, provides scholarships to the students whose parents are engaged in unclean occupations to improve the status of the unprivileged society.

Benefit: ₹1850/- per annum.

The scheme make sure that no brilliant student is prevented on the grounds of poverty alone from pursuing the academic career. Scholarship is awarded to students in 11th & 12th standards who have secured promotion to the next higher class with 60% & 50% marks in 10th & 11th standard respectively.

Benefit: Number of Slots 90 scholarships for 11th Standard and 90 scholarships for 12th Standard are awarded every year. This number may vary depending on the availability of funds in the budget of the year. Rate of Scholarship Day Scholar: ₹60/month per student (₹600/year/student). Hosteller: ₹100/month per student (₹1,000/year/student). For ten months in an academic year. Mode of Disbursement The amount is disbursed directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank account of the applicant through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

The "Award of Puduvai Kalaimamani" scheme was launched by the Arts and Culture Department, Puducherry. The scheme aims to provide prizes and awards to artists or authors/writers in the fields of Literature, Music, Dance, Drama, Painting and Sculpture, and Folk arts.

The scheme “Award of Scholarship to Differently Abled Person Students” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry is introduced to provide scholarship to the differently abled students, studying from Class 1st upto Postgraduate/ Professional courses.

Benefit: 1st to 5th Standard: ₹ 1,000/- per year. 6th to 8th Standard: ₹ 2,000/- per year. 9th to 12th Standard: ₹ 3,400/- per year. Undergraduate Course: ₹ 5,000/- per year. Postgraduate/Professional Course: ₹ 6,800/- per year.

The objectives of this scheme are to recognize the talents of children who are recipients of the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievements and other National/International Merit Awards and to recognize the talents of children who are pursuing outstanding achievements in different fields.

Benefit: Scholarship ₹6,000/- per annum per student. Mode of Disbursal The amount is disbursed directly into the Aadhaar-seeded viable bank account by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through the Electronic Clearance System (ECS).

The scheme aims to recognize and support outstanding NCC cadets. The scheme offers scholarships to eligible candidates in various divisions: Senior Division Boys (Up to graduation), Senior Wing Girls, Junior Division Boys (Up to 12th Standard), and Junior Wing Girls.

Benefit: Rate of Scholarships Senior Division Cadets: ₹500 per month. Junior Division Cadets: ₹250 per month. Number of Scholarships 34 fresh scholarships are awarded every year.

This Scheme seeks to give assistance to young artistes of outstanding promise for advanced training within India in the field of Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dance, Theatre, Mime, Visual art, Folk, Traditional and Indigenous Arts and Light Classical Music.

Benefit: Under the scheme, total number of scholarships is 400. Each scholar will be paid ₹5000/- per month for a period of two years to cover his/ her living expenses on travel, books, art material, or other equipment and tuition or training charges, if any. The scholarships are provided in the field of Indian Classical Music, Classical Dances, Light Classical Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Folk/ Traditional and Indigenous Arts.

The Government of Maharashtra launched a scheme that provides to encourage Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (V.J.N.T.) & Special Backward Class (S.B.C.) students and promote the interest in Technical education.

Benefit: Maintenance Allowance from Rs.40/- to Rs.100/- per month for 10 months is provided through the concerned I.T.I.

Under the scheme, Scheduled Castes Category students who have Secured Top Ranks at State and District Levels in Gujarat in Standard X & XII are given cash prizes. The scheme aims to popularize award winning tiatrs by organizing annual festivals in various Talukas of Goa. It provides financial remuneration to directors/producers of prize-winning tiatrs for staging performances.

Benefit: Financial Remuneration for Tiatr Performance Tiatr Academy of Goa Popular Tiatr winners: ₹40,000/- for each tiatr. Kala Academy Group 'A' winners: ₹35,000/- for each tiatr. Kala Academy Group 'B' winners: ₹30,000/- for each tiatr. Tiatr Academy of Goa Children Tiatr winners: ₹25,000/- for each tiatr. Infrastructure Support Payment to service providers for arranging stage, lights, sound etc. at rates fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa (applicable when no furnished auditorium is available). The Arts and Culture Department of Puducherry launched the "Awarding of Tamil Mamani, Telugu Ratna and Malayala Ratna" scheme with the aims to provide a cash award to the author/writer who have published books.

Benefit: Award amount: Cash award : ₹75,000/-. Number of Awards: Tamil Mamani - 6 awards. Malayala Ratna - 4 awards. Telugu Ratna - 4 awards.

The "Awarding Teleeducation Scholarships To Afghan Students" scheme under e-VidyaBharati Network Project, launched by the Ministry of External Affairs, offers 1000 annual scholarships to Afghan students for UGC-approved online UG and PG programs from Indian universities.

Benefit: The scholarship amount covers the entire degree programme fee including: - Tuition fees, - Admission fees, - Examination fees, - E-content charges, - Other charges like registration fee, re-examination, and award of degree, etc. Note: - The passed students are awarded Degree online and physical copies of degrees/certificates are also sent to Indian Mission in Kabul, and students need to collect from Indian Mission in Kabul.

The "Awards to Bright Students" scheme offers financial assistance to the top two boys and two girls from Adi Dravidar/Tribal/Adi Dravidar Converted to Christianity in each district who have excelled in their 10th standard public examinations and continue their studies.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - For the first year: ₹800/-. - For the next five years (per year): ₹960/-.

The scheme aims to generate awareness among the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community regarding child/human trafficking, family planning, legal awareness, and health. It generates awareness benefits for the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community through Non-Governmental Organizations proposals.

Benefit: The benefit is to generate awareness among the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community on issues like child/human trafficking, family planning, legal awareness, and health (reduction of Maternal Mortality Rate, Infant Mortality Rate, Alcoholism, and maintenance of hygiene). This awareness generation aims towards bringing effective social and behavioural change amongst the community.

The scheme aims to ensure qualitative admission and enable 100% hearing and visually impaired students to obtain high-quality technical education free from economic constraints. It provides housing assistance and expenses for food and accommodation, up to ₹4,000/- to PwD Students.

Benefit: Housing assistance up to ₹4,000/- per student per month for food and accommodation is available, provided the student is studying outside their home residence at an Industrial Training Institute. Housing assistance of ₹2,000/- per month per student for food and other expenses only is available, if the student receives hostel facility provided by the Principal of the Industrial Training Institute. The assistance is provided for the academic duration of the training program, whether it is a one-year or two-year trade. Disbursement Mode: Funds are transferred using Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS).- Frequency: The sanctioned amount is transferred monthly into the student’s Aadhaar-based bank account. The Departmental District Officer provides the advance funds to the Principal of the Industrial Training Institute in two installments every six months.- Limit: The assistance is payable only once in a lifetime for the duration of the training program.- Geographic Scope: The scheme operates in 07 divisional Industrial Training Institutes located in Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Rewa, Jabalpur, Sagar, and Gwalior. Conditions The beneficiary disabled student must pay the rent amount to the landlord using an Account Payee Cheque. The student must maintain regular attendance at the Industrial Training Institute for the Principal to disburse the monthly assistance amount. Any rental amount exceeding the determined maximum housing assistance must be borne by the disabled students themselves from their own sources, and the department will provide no other facility.

"Awasiye Vidyala Yojana" initiated by the Labor Department of the Uttar Pradesh State for the education of the construction worker.
