Benefit: Financial Assistance: - Maximum grant of ₹1,50,00,000/- for a project duration of 3 years. - Funds are released in installments of 40%, 40%, and 20%. Note: The grant received under the scheme should be utilized as under:- - Not more than 30% of the total grant should be spent on Establishment / Project Management. - Not LESS than 50% of the total grant should be spent on Medicines, laboratory testing or other investigations. - Remaining 20% of the total grant may be spent on AYUSH awareness, minor Equipment etc., for the project.

The scheme-component aims to promote AYUSH interventions for the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries and to enhance health and fitness among sports persons.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - Maximum grant of ₹1,00,00,000/- for one project for 18 months. - The funds will be released in two installments of 60% and 40% of the total amount sanctioned. The second installment will be released after receiving expenditure of at least 75% of the released amount and after acceptance of UC thereof.

The scheme-component aims to support the establishment and up-gradation of reputed institutions to Centres of Excellence for strengthening AYUSH education, research, innovation, and advanced healthcare services.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Financial assistance of up to ₹10,00,00,000/- for a period of 3 years is provided to eligible institutions for establishing and upgrading Centres of Excellence. - Release of Installment-Based Fund: Funds are released in 3 installments of 40%, 40%, and 20% of the total sanctioned amount, ensuring phased and performance-linked financial support. - Performance-Linked Disbursement: The second and third installments are released only after expenditure of at least 75% of the released amount and submission and acceptance of the Utilization Certificate and satisfactory performance report. - Construction Cost Limit: Expenditure on the construction of buildings is capped at 30% of the approved project budget. Note: Purchase of land /vehicle, except ambulance and foreign travel, is not allowed from the grant.

Standards Development: Organizations engaged in developing standards for Ayush materials are eligible for funding up to ₹20,00,000/- per year.

The scheme-component aims to establish a robust safety monitoring and surveillance system for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) drugs and to monitor misleading advertisements related to Ayush medicines.

Benefit: Safety Monitoring and Public Health Protection: Establishes a national system for monitoring adverse drug reactions of ASU&H drugs. - Surveillance of Misleading Advertisements: Strengthens regulatory oversight to detect and act against misleading claims in Ayush drug advertisements. - Capacity Building and Awareness: Supports training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns for practitioners and consumers. - Financial Support for Pharmacovigilance Centres: Provides recurring and non-recurring financial assistance to NPvCC, IPvCs, and PPvCs for manpower, IEC materials, and contingency expenses. - Evidence-Based Regulatory Action: Generates scientific evidence on drug safety to support regulatory decisions and policy formulation.

Non-Recurring Expenditure (70% of Project Cost – ₹4,20,00,000/-): - Funds are provided for infrastructure and technology upgradation and released in 30:40:30 instalments over five years, subject to submission of utilization certificates. Recurring Expenditure (30% of Project Cost – ₹1,80,00,000/-): - Released over 5 years with an annual ceiling of ₹36,00,000/-. - Recurring funds are released only after completion of infrastructure and upgradation works. For State./U.T. Govt ASU&H Drug Testing Laboratories Government and Research Councils Laboratories: - Funding Support: Up to ₹3,00,00,000/- per unit. Non-Recurring Expenditure (70% of Project Cost – ₹2,10,00,000/-): - Funds are provided for Addition of section in the existing building/renovation and Equipments for achieving higher standards/upgradation of technology. Recurring Expenditure (30% of Project Cost – ₹90,00,000/-): - Released over 5 years with an annual ceiling of ₹18,00,000/-. - Recurring funds to units also availing non recurring fund under the present scheme will be eligible only on completion of infrastructure or up gradation related works. For Private ASU&H Pharmacies: - Funding Support: Private manufacturing units will be supported with 50% of the project cost limited to ₹3,00,00,000/- for equipment, machinery and scientific instruments to achieve higher standards of GMP (like WHO-GMP, cGMP, EU-GMP). Private ASU&H Drug Testing Laboratories/in house Quality Control Lab of GMP certified ASU&H Manufacturing Units: - Funding Support: Private ASU&H Laboratories will be supported with50% of the project cost limited to ₹1,50,00,000/- for acquiring scientific equipment and instruments for NABL accreditation. - Grants would be for Capital Expenditure for purchase of instruments and equipment only and not towards other laboratory infrastructure including furniture and fixtures.

"Back Ended Interest Subsidy" by the Govt of Tamil Nadu, is introduced with the objective of reducing financial burdens of all new micro and small manufacturing enterprises who have already availed loans from banks/ other government organizations by assisting them through a subsidy on term loans.

Benefit: Subsidy of 5% on term loans subject to a maximum of ₹ 20,00,000 is given for a period of 5 years to all new micro and small manufacturing enterprises for term loans up to ₹ 2,00,00,000 obtained for Credit Guarantee Fund Trust Scheme (CGTMSE). Subsidy of 5% on term loans subject to a maximum of ₹ 25,00,000 is given for a period of 5 years to all new micro and small manufacturing enterprises for term loans up to ₹ 5,00,00,000 obtained for technology up-gradation / modernization. The maximum amount of BEIS payable per loan shall be ₹ 10,00,000 only on loans taken up to ₹ 1,00,00,000. Mode of Payment Interest subsidy shall be reimbursed once in three months on a quarterly basis to the financial institutions.

The “Back-to-Lab” programme of Women Scientists Division offers Research and Post-Doctoral Fellowship to women who have break in their career, to facilitate their re-entry in science research.

Benefit: The scheme offers a Post-doctoral fellowship of ₹45,000/- + 10% HRA per month along with an annual contingency grant of ₹75,000/-. 1. Duration of the Fellowship is limited to a maximum of 2 years.

Bal Sakha Yojana

Under this scheme, all babies born to BPL mothers in the State (approximately 3,00,000 births per annum) will be covered for neonatal care by partnering pediatricians, including care in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (level 2 ) at no cost to the beneficiary.

Additionally, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and ANMs distribute Vitamin A and IFA syrup free of cost to children aged 0–5 years.
