The scheme “Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE)” was launched by Science & Engineering Research Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India which aims to facilitate mobility of faculty members working in State Universities /Colleges/Private Academic institutions.

Benefit: Research fellowship of ₹60,000/- per year (in addition to the researcher’s own salary) will be provided subject to completion of a minimum of 90 days of research work per year in the host institution. 1. Research grant of ₹5 lakhs per annum (50% each to host and parent institution) and overheads (as per SERB norms) will be provided.

The "Team Production Award" scheme was launched by the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles, & Khadi Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. This award is being given to artisans for handicraft items to be made by a team. This award will be given to 3 groups every year with a cash prize etc.....

The ‘TEC Internship Scheme’ intends to engage 25 Interns in order to study/formulate/operationalize/assess various works/projects/policies etc. The internship will provide an opportunity for young scholars to contribute to the TEC work and have insight into the related technical work.

The Scholarships will be awarded to the P.G. Courses/Degree Courses level Courses in Engineering/Technology including Architecture or any other equivalent course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Benefit: The value of the scholarship for General Category students shall be ₹300/- per month. 1. The value of the scholarship for SC/ST students shall be ₹500/- per month. Note 01: 100% Scholarships shall be awarded to the SC and ST Students in P.G./Degree Courses. Note 02: All students belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe and those belonging to BPL families studying in Post Graduate degree and other courses, shall get the scholarship and it will be over and above the sanctioned scholarships for these categories.

This scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing Diploma level Courses in Engineering/Technology including Architectural Assistantship or any other equivalent courses as approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Benefit: The value of scholarship for Diploma level courses is ₹200/- per month for all categories of students. Note: For Diploma students 100% scholarships shall be awarded to the SC, ST, and Girls students.

The objective of the scheme is to improve the quality of training by attracting promising trainees belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Classes & popularize technical training among these categories, so as to make them able to earn their livelihood respectably & honorably.

Benefit: The scholarships shall be paid at the rate of ₹250/- per month per trainee subject to the condition that the corresponding decrease shall be affected in the rate of scholarship if the trainees receive a stipend from any other department of the Government or any organization.

The scheme aims to provide practical technical experience through live projects. Under this programme, a 6-month internship with a stipend of ₹20,000/- per month is offered to eligible engineering students.

Benefit: Eligible candidates have the opportunity to work as technical interns on NeGD projects and gain exposure to real-world professional environments. Regular attendance and satisfactory performance are a must for the stipend & certificate.

The scheme aims to support Micro and Small enterprises in state to acquire advanced technology/ software related to their production/ manufacturing processes through assistance towards cost incurred for technology/ software acquisition.

Benefit: One-time Reimbursement Assistance: Up to 50% of the cost incurred for technology/software acquisition. Maximum assistance limit: ₹5,00,000/- per unit. MSEs may acquire technology/software from premier national institutes like: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) National Institutes of Technology (NITs) National Institutes of Design (NIDs) Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), OR Other institutions set up by Government of India/Government of Rajasthan.

In order to meet the specific needs of women and to enhance the contribution of women towards technology capability building, the “Technology Development & Utilization Programme for Women (TDUPW)” has been formulated by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).

Benefit: Duration of the Project The project should be time-bound, depending upon the nature of the project. Normally a duration of less than 2 years is preferred. Quantum of Financial Assistance Assistance will be provided for those projects which are relevant to technology development and utilization by the women. Assistance can be by way of financial support (partial or full) and technical guidance. The financial assistance will be provided only for meeting expenditures on Manpower, Consumables, travel within the country and other miscellaneous expenditures. Note 1: The type of assistance required by the institution should be clearly indicated in the proposal. Note 2: No support will be provided for basic infrastructure and buildings. Method of Release of Financial Assistance The assistance will be released in instalments and will be linked to specific milestones achieved as per the time schedule indicated in the proposal. The release would also be dependent on the completion of formalities like submission of progress reports and Utilization Certificates.

Technology Development Fund (TDF) has been established to promote self-reliance in Defence Technology as a part of the 'Make in India' initiative.

Benefit: Funding Support: The project cost of up to INR 50,00,00,000/- will be considered for funding. The funding may be up to 90% of the total project cost. Industry may work in collaboration with academia or research institutions. The funding will be linked to mutually agreed milestones. Funds will be released either in advance against a bank guarantee of the same amount as collateral, or reimbursement based on the completion of milestones. Subsequent installments will be released on successful completion of milestones. Purpose of Funding Support: Aims to provide financial assistance to startups for prototype development and trials. Proposes to target nascent startups for project requirements inclusive of funding support of up to 20% to the incubators associated with the startup. Option to create partnerships with academia, where the contribution of the academia is up to 40% of the total project effort.

The objective of the scheme is to identify technology educators in technical educational institutes in Goa who are keen to further their expertise. The selected educators/fellows would be sent to Centres of Excellence within the country and abroad to undertake summer school and short-term training.

Benefit: A technology fellowship program will run to identify technology educators in technical educational institutes in Goa who are keen to further their expertise in the following areas: Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Interaction Design, Big Data Analytics, Robotics, 3-D Printing, Data Science, Drones, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality/Merged Reality, Others (subject to approval from SPC). The selected educators/fellows would be sent to Centres of Excellence within the country and abroad to undertake summer school and short-term training programs to further their learning in their area of specialization.- The Department of IT will set up Centres of Excellence/Advanced Maker Labs in the technologies outlined above, in select technical educational institutes. Such selected educators/fellows will function as Master Trainers/Principal Mentors to students and student start-ups that would be incubated in such facilities.- The educators/fellows, upon selection, would receive an educational grant of ₹10,00,000 per year, for a period of five years.- The benefit of this scheme can be availed by up to ten educators/fellows per year, with one person in each focus area, who will be selected by the SPC as per its guidelines. In case such educators/fellows generate and get any business and value-driven patents registered in their area of specialization, either through individual research or in collaboration with students, such fellows shall be eligible to receive a patent-specific grant of up to ₹15,00,000, subject to certification by the Start-up Promotion Cell (SPC). NOTE: Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications.

The Government of Kerala has launched the scheme “Technology Transfer & Commercialization Support Scheme” through Kerala Startup Mission to support startups that have purchased or sourced Technology licenses from any Government research Institution in India.

Benefit: This scheme intends to support Technology License/Transfer Startups by providing funding support of a maximum of ₹10 Lakhs in the form of reimbursement for the startups, who have paid to the Research Institution. 1. The support is limited to 90% of the technology fee to be paid to the Research entity.

The scheme aims to recognize and honor women and adolescent girls who have made outstanding achievements in various fields such as social work, education, literature, art, culture, courage, and bravery.

Benefit: Under this scheme, one woman or adolescent girl from each district, who has made outstanding achievements in a particular field, is awarded a cash prize of ₹51,000/- along with a certificate of appreciation by the State Government.

The scheme aims to provide a monthly pension of ₹1,200/- to male and female individuals above 18 years of age who have incurred a partial disability of 20% to 40% while performing agricultural activities.

Benefit: A pension of ₹1,200/- per month is provided to each eligible beneficiary.

A scheme to provide financial assistance to the young women for setting up gainful self-employment ventures, suited to their skills, training, aptitude and local conditions.

Benefit: A financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh under Mudra loan from J&K Bank Re-payment of Financial Assistance provided under this scheme shall be interest free. Mission Youth, J&K shall provide an amount of Rs. 50,000 or 10% of project cost (Whichever is minimum) as special incentive (subsidy) towards the loan which shall be adjusted towards monthly installments of the loan for first six months. Interest subsidy up to Rs 0.60 lakh per beneficiary shall be provided by Mission Youth, J&K. The interest subsidy, however, shall be provided only on production of necessary documents (including Bank statement/ Income Tax statement/ certificate by DLIC) testifying the sustainability of the activity.

The Telecom Technology Development Fund Scheme (hereinafter referred to as ‘Scheme’) has been notified for domestic companies and institutions involved in technology design, development, commercialization of telecommunication products and solutions to enable affordable broadband and mobile services.

Benefit: The scheme is envisaged to bridge the digital divide by developing and manufacturing the state-of-the-art technologies for rural and remote areas. The objectives are, inter alia, to promote: 1. Technology Ownership and indigenous Manufacturing (Atmanirbhar Bharat) & reduce import and open up export opportunities; 1. Proliferation of next-generation Telecom technologies in Rural and Remote areas; 1. Creating a culture of Technology co-creation and co-innovation; 1. Promote the ecosystem for research, design, prototyping, development, proof of concept testing, IPR creation, field testing, security, certification, and manufacturing of telecom products, end-to-end Solutions, Usecases, Pilots, inter alia; develop and establish relevant standards to meet national requirements and enable their standardization in international standardization bodies; 1. Promote rural-specific communication technology application/use case development that caters to the needs of rural masses and adds value to their day-to-day activities both economic and social; 1. Create synergies among the Academia, Research Institutes, Start-ups, and Industry for capacity building and development of the telecom ecosystem through outreach to build rural/remote areas relevant technologies and solutions; 1. Bridge the gap between R&D and commercialization of products and solutions; 1. Enable proliferation of affordable broadband and mobile services; 1. Enable technology demonstration, product integration, pilots, and field trials of the products and solutions; 1. Enable Technological/business model innovation in solutions and services by utilizing existing infrastructure of USOF/DoT/GoI funded projects; or 1. Commercialize developed technologies under the scheme. USOF schemes shall incorporate necessary provisions to ensure to enable the rollout of these indigenously developed and piloted technologies developed in all its models.

The "Temporary Disability (Hospitalization) Relief Scheme" welfare scheme by the Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board offers financial assistance to registered construction workers who face temporary disability due to accidents or diseases.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹3,000/- per month.

MYAS confers the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award in order to recognize the achievements of persons associated with the field of adventure and to encourage young people to develop the spirit of endurance, risk-taking, cooperative teamwork, and quick, ready, and effective reflexes.

Benefit: The award consists of a bronze statuette, a certificate, a blazer with a silken tie/a saree, and award money of ₹ 15,00,000. The Awards are presented to the winners along with Arjuna Awards by the Government of India. The Status of the Award will be the same as the Arjuna Awards conferred in the field of Sports by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.' The Awards will be presented to the winners along with Arjuna Awards by the Government of India. The Awardees will be reimbursed to and fro airfare (economy class) and such other fare of conveyance as relevant in the journey through the shortest route from his/her place of stay to the place of the award ceremony and back subject to production of the original boarding passes/ Tickets etc. along with duly filled in proforma. Awardees would be given reimbursement for AC 1-tier rail journey if opted. Awardees will also be provided free boarding and lodging in a suitable place for the award ceremony. One companion with each lady and the physically handicapped awardee will be provided with the same traveling and boarding/lodging facilities as that of the awardee himself/herself.

The scheme aims to uplift the economically disadvantaged Charmakar community (Dhor, Chambhar, Holar, Mochi, etc.) by promoting their educational, economic, and social development, helping them gain a respectable place in society.

Benefit: Loan Amount: NSFDC provides Term Loans ranging from ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,50,000 for various schemes, with separate limits for vehicle loans. Project Financing: NSFDC finances 75% of the project cost. The corporation provides 20% as a Seed Loan. ₹10,000 is provided as a subsidy. The remaining 5% of the project cost is contributed by the beneficiary. Interest Rates: For Loans up to ₹5,00,000: NSFDC charges 7% per annum. The corporation charges 4% per annum. For Loans above ₹5,00,000: NSFDC charges 8% per annum. The corporation charges 4% per annum. Repayment Terms: Loan instalments are payable monthly over a period of up to 60 months.- This structure ensures clear and concise information about the Term Loan Scheme for potential beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to promote self-employment among individuals from the minority communities by providing financial assistance for agriculture and allied activities, small-scale businesses, craftsmanship, transport sector, traditional occupations, and service-based businesses/trades.

Benefit: Financial Assistance for Business: Loans ranging from ₹1,00,000/- to ₹20,00,000/- are provided businesses/trades in various sectors listed below: - Agriculture and allied businesses, such as animal husbandry, fisheries, etc. - Technical & Skilled self-employment businesses. - Service-oriented businesses such as provision stores, ready-made garment shops, cyber cafés, cold drink parlors, auto repairing, beauty parlors, etc. - Handicraft businesses. - Transport sector. Interest Rates: - For annual income up to ₹1,20,000/- (rural) and ₹1,20,000/- (urban), the interest rate is 6% per annum. - For families with annual income above ₹1,20,000/- and up to ₹8,00,000/-, the interest rate is 8% for male beneficiaries and 6% for female beneficiaries. Repayment: The loan amount has to be repaid to the corporation in 60 equal installments over five years, including interest.
