The scheme “Swasraya Scheme for Parents/Mothers of Physically Handicapped/Mentally Retarded Persons” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.

Benefit: Under the scheme, a one-time financial assistance of ₹35,000/- will be provided to women of BPL families to find self-employment, whose husbands have died/abandoned, and who have to take care of their sons/children with severe physical and mental challenges.

Launched on 15th August 1972, "Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme" is a Pension Scheme by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The scheme provides the grant of pension to living freedom fighters and their families; if they are no more alive, and to the families or martyrs.

The "Swavalambi/Sanchari Marata Malige" aims to assist SC leather artisans in establishing their own showrooms or mobile vans to sell their products directly to consumers. Financial assistance is provided in the form of a subsidy depending on the location of the business.

This scheme aims to instill a sense of self-reliance in the youth belonging to backward classes after receiving vocational education/training. Under this scheme, eligible youth are provided loans at a low-interest rate to start self-employment ventures.

Benefit: Loan Amount: Up to ₹5,00,000/- per applicant. Interest Rate: 6% per annum. Loan Share: Under the scheme, the loan will be distributed in a unit cost ratio where- 85% will be covered by a national corporation 10% by State Government 5% contribution by the beneficiary Repayment Terms: This loan will have to be repaid in 60 equal monthly installments including interest.

The scheme aims to promote economic self-reliance among professionally educated unemployed youth from Thakor & Koli communities, aged between 18 & 35 years, who hold degrees in fields such as Pharmacy, Software/Hardware, Automobile Engineering, Law, Chartered Accountancy, & others.

Benefit: Loan Amount: Up to ₹5,00,000/-. Interest Rate: 5% per annum. Contribution Split: 95% of the business/project cost is covered under the scheme as a loan. 5% contribution must be made by the beneficiary. Loan Repayment Terms: Repayable in 60 equal monthly installments (maximum 5 years). The repayment period depends on the nature of the business plan.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the parents of transgender children to support them in successfully raising their children against societal intolerance, stigma, discrimination, and violence.

Benefit: Financial assistance: ₹1,500/- per transgender child per month. Note: Assistance is provided until the child reaches the age of 18 years. In case of death of the parent, supportive money will be made available to the guardian subject to production of the relevant Certificate of guardianship obtained from Competent Authority.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Transgender students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarships are available to transgender students for studies in India only and awarded where the applicant is studying.

The Scheme has been introduced to invigorate and revitalize the various institutions under the Ministry of Culture and other identified cultural institutions in the country, by encouraging Fellows/academicians to affiliate themselves with these institutions to work on projects of mutual interest.

Benefit: Honorarium: 1. A Tagore National Fellow who is from a University, College, Research Institute, or Government setup in India would be entitled to the same pay, including grade pay, etc., which he/she would have drawn had he/she continued in his/her parent organization. Essential or mandatory contributions of the employer to Provident Fund etc. would be paid by the parent organizations as would have been paid by them had he/she continued in his/her parent organization. 1. A Fellow from abroad or from a set-up other than University, College, Research Institute or Government service, or who has retired from active service and/or is on pension, would be entitled to a fixed honorarium of ₹80,000/- per month. 1. No payment of honorarium would normally be made to a Fellow receiving full funding from other sources up to the level of the honorarium, but such Fellow will, however, receive a Contingency Grant, other allowances, and facilities, as decided by the NSC. Contingency Grant: - In case of foreign and Indian research fellows residing or serving abroad and having been selected as Tagore Fellows under Non-MoC institutions, to and fro economy class airfare from their country of residence will be provided/reimbursed by the Ministry once during the course of the Fellowship. - Similarly, all fellows under Non-MoC institutions who take up the Fellowship under the Scheme will be reimbursed, on an ‘actual’ basis, contingent expenses for making academic trips, engaging research assistants, etc. up to a maximum ceiling of ₹2.50 lakhs per annum, during the tenure of Fellowship subject to verification of requisite bills by the Nodal Institutions. Note: For Fellows selected under MoC Institutions, the expenditure in this regard will be borne by the concerned MoC Institution from the grant-in-aid received by them from their administrative Division of the Ministry. Accommodation: - A Fellow who is not a bona-fide resident of the place of the Participating Institution to which he has proposed to be affiliated and who intends to take up rented accommodation in the city of the desired Institution will be required to indicate this fact at the time of applying for Fellowship. - The selected Fellow will be entitled to receive a House Rent Allowance of up to 30% of the honorarium. However, with respect to Fellows from Universities, colleges, Research institutes, or Government setups HRA will be paid by the Parent Organization as per entitlement. - The MoC Institutions will bear the expenditure in this regard from the grant-in-aid received by them from their administrative Division of the Ministry. - In respect of Non-MoC Institutions, the Ministry of Culture will reimburse the House Rent Allowance directly to Fellows on submission of rent receipts (in original) to the Participating Institutions who will verify and forward the same to the Ministry for reimbursement. Settling Allowance: - A Fellow from outstation will be given, if required, a lump sum grant of ₹1.00 lakh as settling allowance for packing/transportation, etc., of his personal belongings from the old station to the new station of his stay during the tenure of Fellowship, if he moves station or otherwise transports books and academic effects. - Allowance of an equal amount will also be given at the conclusion of the Fellowship for moving out of station. On a case-to-case basis, economy airfare from his/her place/country of residence will be provided/reimbursed upon joining and at the conclusion of the Fellowship. In this regard, Non-MoC Institutions will bear the expenditure and thereafter seek reimbursement from the Ministry after submission of certified copies of Bills along with justification. Support to Fellows: - Infrastructural support will be provided by the Nodal Institution to the Fellows to enable them to conduct their research. This may include the provision of a computer with peripherals and connectivity, working space in the institution’s premises, providing a congenial atmosphere to carry out research, etc. Other facilities, like appropriate seating arrangements, library facilities, etc., will also be made available. - One important advantage of this scheme will be the access of the Fellows to national institutions for study and avail original and rare research material. In respect of foreign fellows engaged under this scheme, necessary political/security clearances from the concerned Ministries/Departments shall be obtained by the Ministry of Culture. - Encouragement and financial support may also be given to enable the Fellows to present papers at conferences hosted by the concerned institution or other related organizations and institutions, which will be met out/reimbursed, on an ‘actuals’ basis, with a ceiling of ₹1.00 lakh per annum, provided adequate academic interaction is arranged

Note: For scholars selected under MoC Institutions, the expenditure in this regard will be borne by the concerned MoC Institution from the grant-in-aid received by them from their administrative Division of the Ministry. The aim of the scheme is to enable Scheduled Caste Widows/girls/destitute women for self-employment. A stipend of Rs.600/- P.M. and raw material costing Rs.300/- per month per trainee is given to a trainee for getting training from the nearest Kalyan Kendar run by this department.

Benefit: ₹600/- stipend per month. ₹300/- per month for raw materials. 1 sewing machine.

The Bihar Government's Animal and Fisheries Resources Department has introduced the "Talab Matsyiki Vishesh Sahayata Yojana (Anusuchit Jaati/Janajati/Ati Pichhada)" aims to support fish farmers by providing financial and technical assistance for pond construction, installation of necessary equipment

Benefit: Assistance Offers a 70% subsidy on the total cost, reducing the financial burden on beneficiaries. Subsidy Payment: Subsidy payments are made in two installments: 60% after pond construction and 40% after installation of related units and purchase of inputs.

The scheme "Taluka Level Personality Development and Yogasan Training Camp for Scheduled Caste" aims to provide personality development and Yogasana training to Scheduled Caste youths through free residential training camps held at the taluka level across the state.

Benefit: Personality Development: Participants undergo structured sessions for enhancing communication, confidence, discipline, and overall character. - Physical Development: Daily Yogasana training and exercises aimed at physical fitness. - Mental and Spiritual Development: Yoga and related practices to foster mental peace and spiritual well-being.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has introduced the two-year “Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fellowship Programme (TNCMFP)” to harness the energy and talent of young professionals to optimize the governance processes and enhance the service delivery of various programme and policies in Tamil Nadu.

Benefit: Under this fellowship programme, a monthly stipend of ₹65,000/- and an additional allowance of ₹10,000/- to meet their incidental expenses in performing their assigned work, such as travel, mobile phone, data usage, etc. Note: No additional financial assistance will be provided.

The scheme "Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards (National Level)" aims to promote and honor women’s contributions to Indian classical music by recognizing two outstanding female artistes with a cash award of ₹5,00,000, a shawl, and a certificate at a national-level event.

Benefit: Cash Prize: Each of the two selected female artists is awarded a cash prize of ₹5,00,000/-.- Other Benefit: In addition to the monetary award, recipients receive a shawl and a certificate recognizing their contribution.

"Tap Water Scheme" (नल जल योजना) by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh aims to provide clean water in Gram Panchayat areas in an accessible manner. The application has to be made to the concerned Gram Panchayat.

Benefit: Tap Water Connection is provided by the Gram Panchayat

The objective of this component is to increase the production, productivity and quality of tea, overall development of small tea growers to help them move up in the value chain, sustainability of production by promoting organic tea cultivation& climate resilient tea and to make them self-reliant.

The scheme aims to promote tea cultivation in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, providing sustainable employment, optimal utilization of barren and unused land, and economic upliftment of local farmers.

Benefit: Due to large-scale migration of local people in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand, most of the farmers’ land remains unused or barren, which can be put to good use through tea development programmes. - The Tea Development Scheme, run by the Board, is an employment-oriented initiative under which the Board provides year-round employment to tea garden cultivators and workers for seven years after the plantation is established. Once the plantations produce sufficient quantities of green leaves, farmers can earn a livelihood by selling them. - At present, in the hilly areas, fruits, vegetables, and crops are being damaged by domestic and wild animals, whereas tea plants are not harmed by such animals. - Due to the lack of adequate irrigation facilities in the hilly areas, traditional farming is adversely affected, whereas tea gardens require irrigation only at the initial stage, and adverse weather does not have any significant impact on the tea gardens. - Once planted, tea plants can produce for up to 100 years under proper care. Hailstorms only negatively affect tea production for about a week. - There is a risk of landslides due to indiscriminate cutting of forests, disasters, and heavy rainfall, whereas areas with tea plantations are not prone to landslides; thus, tea gardens help prevent soil erosion and landslides. - Tea plantation is an environmentally friendly and completely pollution-free industry. - In tea gardens, local people, especially rural women, get employment in their own area. - The tea industry can become a strong pillar for the economic foundation of local farmers. - Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world, ensuring consistent demand, which makes its marketing relatively easy. - On average, 15,000 tea plants are planted per hectare, which also helps prevent soil erosion. - Currently, the Board has developed tea gardens by leasing land from 4,011 farmers over an area of 1,370 hectares in 30 development blocks across 9 districts. - At present, 3,100 workers are employed under the Board every month, of which 2,279 are women.

The objective of the scheme is to continue the experimental plantation of tea and to find the possibility of growing tea economically as well as on a commercial scale.

Benefit: Pattern of Assistance: 1. Seedlings are offered for sale at the rate ₹1/- per tea seedling and one-time financial assistance at the rate ₹10,000/- per hectare. 1. The scheme aims to promote tea tourism in Uttarakhand by attracting visitors to tea gardens and factories, creating local jobs, and supporting the state’s tea industry.

Benefit: Presently, the Board is conducting tea tourism activities in the tea gardens of Ghorakhal (Nainital), Champawat, and Kausani (Bageshwar), which are yielding the following benefits: - Tourists visiting the state, along with other scenic attractions, are also visiting the tea gardens and tea factories operated by the Board. - The Board collects a nominal entry fee from tourists visiting the plantations. - The revenue generated from the entry fee is utilized for developing tea tourism facilities in the same gardens. - The Board earns an annual income of approximately ₹75 lakh by organizing guided tours and tea-tasting sessions for visitors. - During the tourist season, about 500-600 tourists visit the tea gardens and tea factories every day. - Tea tourism operated by the Board is providing direct and indirect employment opportunities to local residents.
