The scheme aims to promote sustainable solid and liquid waste management in rural Uttarakhand by providing necessary infrastructure and facilities to ensure cleaner villages, improved sanitation, and better public health.

Benefit: Solid and liquid waste management facilities, such as public dustbins, soak pits, compost pits, garbage collection centres, and community sanitation complexes, are constructed according to the requirements of Gram Panchayats through convergence, addressing the needs of migrant and floating populations, at a cost of ₹3.00 lakh (70% from the Swachh Bharat Mission and 30% from the 15th Finance Commission).

Launched on 2nd October 2018, "Swahid Kushal Konwar Sarbajanin Briddha Pension Achoni" is a Pension Scheme by the Govt. of Assam. The objective of the scheme is to streamline the payment of old-age pensions and funds. The beneficiary will get a sum of ₹250/- per month.

Benefit: The beneficiary will be granted a sum of ₹ 250/- per month through DBT. The pension amount will be remitted on the first day of every month to the account of the beneficiary.

The scheme aims to support ST students enrolled in ITIs and recognized training institutes by providing a monthly stipend of ₹400 for a duration of 12 months.

Benefit: A monthly stipend of ₹400 for 12 months for the ITI and professional courses.

Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Scheme is a flagship program by Govt. of Assam to provide financial support to the youths of Assam to take up income-generating activities in the manufacturing, trading, and service sector. This program was launched in the year 2017.

Benefit: Benefits Rs. 50 thousand will be provided as seed money to each individual under the renewed Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Yojana. While the groups with five members (Rs 50,000 per head) would be entitled to Rs 2.5 lakh, groups with 10 members would be entitled to Rs 5 lakh and so on with the maximum limit for members being 20. The total budget of the scheme is Rs. 1000 crore which will be given entirely from government funding. The beneficiaries would include all members of self-help groups, joint liability groups, and other such groups and federations that have organized themselves for entrepreneurial projects. Quantum and nature of financial assistance The State Government through State Level Bankers Committee would request all Public Sector/Private Sector/Regional Rural Banks to provide financial assistance under this scheme. The quantum of assistance would be up to Rupees One lakh for new entrepreneurs and up to Rupees two lakh for existing entrepreneurs. The beneficiary contribution will be a maximum of 25% of the total project cost. Banks will be free to sanction loans above the quantum specified above but subsidy, as reflected herein below, will be limited to 20% of the sanctioned limit subject to INR 20,000 for new entrepreneurs and 40% of the sanctioned limit subject to INR 40,000 for the existing entrepreneurs. In brief, for an amount of Rs 1,00,000/- sanctioned as a loan for a total project cost, Rs 25,000/- shall be the beneficiary’s own contribution, Rs 20,000/- the subsidy to be disbursed and Rs 55,000/- shall be the loan amount from the Banks. “Swami Vivekananda Nishakta Swavlamban Protsahan Yojana ” is a Social Security Scheme by the Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security, Government of Jharkhand. The aim of the scheme is to provide social security to differently abled people aged five(5) years and above.

Benefit: Amount: ₹ 1,000/- per month to the eligible beneficiary.

Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to students studying in Class 11 and Class 12 in government schools, whose annual family income is less than ₹1,00,000/- and who belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the girl student will get a scholarship of ₹550/- per year and boy student will get a scholarship of ₹500/- per year. Note: The scholarship is sent directly to the student's bank account.

A fellowship scheme by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for Single Girl Child for research in Social Sciences with an aim to compensate for direct costs of higher education, especially for such girls who happen to be the only girl child in their family.

Benefit: Financial Assistance The financial assistance available under the scheme is as follows: Fellowship @ ₹25,000/- per month for the Initial two years; @ ₹28,000/- per month for the remaining tenure. Contingency @ ₹10,000/- per annum for initial two years; @ ₹20,500/- per annum for remaining tenure. Escort Reader Assistance @ ₹2,000/- per month in case of PWD candidates. Slots The number of slots for the fellowship may be decided every year on the basis of eligible applications complete in all respects, received through online mode. Tenure The tenure of the fellowship is for five years and will be effective from 1st April of the selection year or the actual date of joining under the fellowship in the University/College/Institute, whichever is later. Fellowship will be granted up to the date of submission of Ph.D. Thesis or 5 years of tenure whichever is earlier. No extension is permissible beyond the total period of five years, and the fellow ceases to be a UGC research fellow immediately after the expiry of the due date. HRA Suitable single-seated hostel accommodation may be provided to the candidates in the institutions. In such cases, the fellow is eligible to draw only hostel fees excluding mess, electricity, water charges, etc. A certificate to this effect is to be furnished through the Registrar/Director/Principal. HRA is not permissible for those candidates who are staying in Hostel accommodation. In case of non-availability of hostel accommodation, the fellow may be provided with single accommodation by the host institution. In such cases, the rent paid by the fellow on an actual basis may be reimbursed subject to the ceiling of HRA as per Govt. of India norms. If the fellow makes her own arrangements of accommodation, she may be entitled to draw HRA as per the categorization of cities by the Govt. of India. Note: In all the above cases, the fellow will submit a relevant certificate ([Annexure-VI](https://www.ugc.gov.in/pdfnews/1555717_guidelines-SWAMI-Vivekananda.pdf)) through the concerned University/College/Institute to the identified Agency for settling the claim. Medical No separate/fixed medical assistance is provided. However, the fellow may avail of the medical facilities available in the Universities/Colleges/Institutes. Leave Leave for a maximum period of 30 days in a year in addition to the public holidays that may be taken by the candidate. However, they are not entitled to any other vacation, such as summer, winter, and pooja vacations. Maternity leave as per the Govt. of India norms issued from time to time would be available at full rates of the fellowship once during the tenure of their award. Academic leave (without fellowship and other emoluments) shall be permissible only for one year throughout the tenure (for any kind of academic/teaching assignment/foreign visit in connection with research work). The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure. Expenditure on foreign visits in connection to research work cannot be claimed by UGC Note: All kinds of leave should be approved at the level of the University/College/Institute.

The scheme “Swami Vivekananda Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojana” is a Scholarship Scheme by the Dept. of Education, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. An amount of ₹ 18,000/- per year will be given to the general category students for two successive years after matric. 2000 scholarships are awarded every year.

Benefit: A scholarship of ₹18,000/-.

The scheme aims to provide financial support to diploma and graduate-level students who are orphans, whose parents or either parent has died due to COVID-19, or who are dependents of martyrs from the military or central armed forces.

The "Swaran Jayanti Ashray Yojana" was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Himachal Pradesh aims to provide financial assistance for the construction of houses who are permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBC

The scheme “Swaran Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra Scheme 2016” was launched by the Tourism Department, Government of Haryana on 12th July 2016.

Benefit: The financial assistance will be provided up to the extent of ₹6,000/- or 50% of the actual expenditure per person, whichever is less. 1. The financial assistance shall be provided to a maximum of 50 (fifty) numbers of pilgrims.

Under this scheme, a selected number of young scientists, with proven track record, are provided special assistance and support to enable them to pursue basic research in frontier areas of science and technology.

Benefit: The award consists of a Fellowship of ₹25,000/- per month in addition to the salary drawn from the parent Institute for a period of 5 years. 1. The fellows selected along with their projects will be considered for funding by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) as per SERB norms, for fellowship, recurring and non-recurring heads.

A flagship initiative by the Gujarat government launched in 2009-10 to enhance city-level infrastructure, focusing on water supply, underground drainage, and renewable energy for sustainable urban development.

The Swarnima Scheme provides loan assistance to female beneficiaries from Other Backward Classes (OBC) residing in Maharashtra to support self-employment activities, empowering them to establish a stable livelihood.

Benefit: Financial assistance of up to ₹5,00,000/- per Self-Help Group (SHG) project, with ₹25,000 allocated per beneficiary (up to 20 members per SHG). Funding shares include 95% from the Central Corporation and 5% from the State Corporation. No beneficiary contribution is required. Low interest rate of 5% per annum. Repayment period of up to 3 years to ease financial planning.
