Kerala Government has launched a noble initiative “Snehapoorvam Scheme” to provide financial assistance to orphans who are living in the family, with their relatives, friends, or the support of the community under the Social Welfare Department implemented through Social Security Mission.

The Government of Kerala has launched the “Snehasanthwanam” scheme under the Kerala Social Security Mission. The scheme acts as a relief measure for the Endosulfan victims in the state of Kerala.

Benefit: Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹2200/- is given to the bedridden Endosulfan victims. 1. Financial assistance of ₹1700/- is given to such bedridden Endosulfan victims who are getting ₹300/- per month as a disability pension. 1. All other Endosulfan victims are given ₹1200/- based on the list furnished by the District Collector. 1. In addition to this, monthly assistance of ₹700/- is given to the caregivers of Endosulfan victims who are fully bedridden or mentally retarded under the special Aswasakiranam scheme. 1. Educational assistance will be provided to the Children of Endosulfan affected families as under: a) Children studying in buds school – ₹ 2000/-. b) Children studying in Class 1st to 7th – ₹2000/-. c) Children studying in Class 8th to 10th – ₹3000/-. d) Children studying in Plus One and Plus Two – ₹4000/-.

The Government of Kerala has launched the “Snehasparsham” scheme to protect and help unwed mothers. The problems of unwed mothers are linked with various socio-economic and cultural variables.

Benefit: Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹1000/- per month will be given to unwed mothers.

The scheme “Snehayanam Scheme for Mothers of Persons with Special Needs” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.

Benefit: Under the scheme, Electric Auto Rickshaws will be provided free of cost to mothers of persons with disabilities who suffer financially.

The scheme aims to provide institutionalized social security cover, including provident funds, pensions, and life insurance. It provides monthly pensions, provident fund advances, and lump-sum death benefits to tea plantation workers in Assam and their dependent families.

Benefit: Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund Scheme Provident Fund advances provided on grounds such as marriage, death ceremonies, medical treatment, higher/technical education, economic hardships, and house building. Settlement of a member's Provident Fund account upon retirement, termination, or cessation of employment. Pension Scheme Full pensionary benefit paid after retirement at the age of 58 years, provided the member has a minimum period of service of 10 years. In the event of cessation of membership after 50 years and before 58 years, pension benefits are paid as per a prescribed schedule. Family Pension-cum-Life Assurance Scheme: A lump-sum one-time benefit of ₹2,000/- is immediately paid on the death of the tea plantation worker. A minimum monthly family pension of ₹1,000/- per month is provided. A maximum monthly family pension of ₹1,500/- per month is provided, depending on the Provident Fund balance of the member on the date of death. Timely disbursement of Family Pension claims is done within 7 days. Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme A one-time monetary assurance benefit is paid to the nominee in the event of the death of an employee who was a member of the Provident Fund Scheme. A minimum assurance benefit of ₹1,00,000/- (previously ₹50,000/-) is provided to the nominee. A maximum assurance benefit of ₹2,00,000/- (previously ₹1,00,000/-) is provided to the nominee, equal to the amount of balance in the deceased member's Provident Fund account. Timely disbursement of Deposit Linked Insurance claims is done within 7 days. Conditions _The employee must contribute 12% of their wages, which includes dearness allowances, value of food concessions, and amounts received for plucking tea leaves._ _The employer must contribute at the same 12% rate._ _The employer is mandated to deduct the contributions from the employee and deposit the collected amount along with their own share into the Board's Account within 30 days._ _If an employer fails to deposit the contribution within the prescribed time, a loss of interest at 15% per annum is charged on the employer for the defaulting period._ _For the Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, contributions are made by the Tea Garden Management at 0.50% and the Government of India at 0.25% of the gross annual wages._ _For the Family Pension-cum-Life Assurance Scheme, the Government of India contributes 1 1/6% of the gross annual wages of a tea plantation worker._

Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹500/- is provided to Below Poverty Line (BPL) Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and dwarf individuals to support them in living a respectful life.

Benefit: Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive a pension of ₹500/- per month. Note: The pension amount will be directly transferred to the applicant's bank account.

The scheme “Soft Loan Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs” was started under Kerala Startup Mission to support women startups with a soft loan of an amount limited to ₹15 Lakhs as working capital for implementing works & projects received from Govt. departments and Public Sector Undertaking in Kerala.

Benefit: Soft Loan against Purchase order will be given to Women Entrepreneurs at the rate of 6% per annum on simple interest. 1. The amount of the loan is limited to 80% of the Purchase order and disbursement is as an advance against the milestone payment agreed by the client. 1. The repayment period of the loan is 1 year or completion of the project with full settlement whichever is earlier. 1. The maximum amount of loan outstanding will be ₹15 lakhs. Note: The Startup shall ensure the proper delivery of the product service specified in the purchase order and the disbursement from the second installment will be based on the satisfactory completion of a milestone as certified by the client.

The scheme aims to provide Soil Health Cards to all farmers in the state, helping them understand the nutrient composition of their soil and the type and quantity of fertilizers suitable for their crops.

Benefit: To provide Soil Health Cards to all farmers in the state. - The soil of each farmer’s field is tested at soil testing laboratories, which are operational in all 13 districts. - Farmers receive detailed information about the nutrient content of their soil, along with recommendations on the type and quantity of fertilizers best suited for their crops. - Soil testing is provided free of cost to farmers. - In hilly areas, a Soil Health Card is issued for agricultural land up to 2.5 hectares, while in plain areas, it is issued for land up to 10 hectares. Each card is valid for three years.

Through the scheme “Soil Resource Management and Inputs Quality Control", the farmers can give their soil and water samples to the soil testing lab for analysis and recommendation at completely free of cost.

Benefit: The farmers from the Puducherry region can give their soil and water samples to the soil testing lab attached to this office for analysis and recommendation. The farmers of the Puducherry region are provided with soil health cards for their cultivable lands within a month. This office is also involved in analyzing the quality of the three most important inputs used by the farmers namely (i) Seeds (ii) fertilizers and (iii) Pesticides by trained analysis. Samples taken by the notified quality inspectors are analysed and the quality of the inputs is determined. If Farmers have doubts about the quality of important inputs like seeds, fertilizers and pesticides they may contact the agricultural officer (U.U.) concerned to assess the quality of these inputs by submitting the sample.

Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department launched the "Soil Testing Laboratory" scheme for the farmer on 01 April 2013.

Benefit: To provide soil testing services for farmers free of cost. Soil Health Card (SHC).

The system aims to develop and promote an innovative solar-based hydroponic system that integrates solar energy with modern greenhouse technology and mobile application support.

Benefit: A solar-based hydroponic system has been installed at UCOST Dehradun. The solar-based hydroponic system is the latest research in the state, in which an innovative and integrated solar greenhouse-based hydroponic solution and an Android mobile application have been developed for farmers and consumers. Benefit: The automated solar-based hydroponic system will reduce energy consumption, minimize water usage, and enhance crop yields. The system also has the potential to serve as an entrepreneurial or business model and can be replicated in other Himalayan states, thereby creating improved livelihood opportunities for hill farmers and youth. Smaller off-grid models of solar-based hydroponic systems, proposed to be developed in addition to on-grid systems, can be installed in remote areas where electricity supply is a major issue. This would help increase the individual income of hill farmers.

The scheme aims to provide solar energy plates/panels to the families of construction workers registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Benefit: Under this scheme, solar energy plates/panels will be provided, and for maintenance and service charges, beneficiaries will have to contact the concerned supplier.

The SECI Internship Policy is designed to provide practical experience to students in the renewable energy sector. The program aims to give interns exposure to SECI's various divisions, helping them understand the renewable energy sector.

Benefit: Stipend: For training periods less than 6 months: ₹8,000/- per month For training periods from 6 months to 3 years: ₹12,000/- per month Completion Certificate: HR issues a certificate upon successful completion of the internship, confirming attendance and work supervision. NOTE: The internship program does not include compensation of any kind, boarding, lodging, transportation etc.

The "Solar Home System (Manohar Jyoti)" by the Renewable Energy Department, Government of Haryana, aims to promote renewable energy adoption and ensure sustainable power access through solar solutions. Through this scheme, a subsidized solar home lighting system is provided to families.

Benefit: Subsidy for General Category: A subsidy of ₹15,000/- per solar home system is provided to eligible families under the general category. - Subsidy under SCSP: A subsidy covering 90% of the cost is provided to Scheduled Caste families under SCSP component.

The "Solar Inverter Charger" by the Renewable Energy Department, Government of Haryana, aims to promote the use of renewable energy and reduce electricity dependence by providing a subsidy of ₹6,000/- or ₹10,000/- for solar inverter charger systems to eligible households.

Benefit: For 320-watt Solar Inverter Charger System: A subsidy of ₹6,000/- is provided. - For 640-watt Solar Inverter Charger System: A subsidy of ₹10,000/- is provided.

Launched in 2018, the "Solar Power Subsidy Scheme" is one of the "Information Technology Policy Schemes" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The objective and the scope of this scheme is to provide Solar Power Subsidy to the eligible Information Technology Units in Goa.

Benefit: All Units operating in Goa running on 100% solar energy will be eligible for a reimbursement of 10% of their capital cost of the installation of Solar Power Generation Unit subject to a maximum subsidy of ₹ 50,00,000. NOTE 1: The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation. No Promissory Estoppel shall be applicable if benefits are discontinued in case the allocation is exceeded. NOTE 2: Only expenditure incurred during the operation of the Policy will be eligible for the rebate.

The scheme aims to promote the use of solar energy for water heating in the state to reduce dependence on conventional electricity and fossil fuels, and to encourage the adoption of green and sustainable energy sources in Uttarakhand.

Benefit: Under the Solar Water Heater Scheme, the power supply to electricity consumers in the state is often maintained by purchasing electricity at high rates by the DISCOM during peak hours, which directly impacts both consumers and the state government. The installation of solar water heaters will reduce consumers' dependence on grid power and promote solar energy projects across the state. This scheme represents a significant contribution by the State Government toward fulfilling Government of India’s commitment to achieving the global SDG-7 goals. 1. The scheme will encourage the use of green and renewable energy across the state. 1. Increasing the installation of solar water heaters will lead to electricity savings during peak demand periods and a reduction in annual carbon dioxide emissions. Installing a solar water heater system with a capacity of 100 liters per day can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1.5 tons per year, resulting in positive environmental impacts. 1. In the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, where there is a frequent need for hot water, it is often produced by burning wood, which harms the environment. The adoption of solar water heaters will significantly reduce environmental damage caused by traditional methods such as the use of wood or electricity for water heating.

The scheme "Solar Water Heating System (Domestic Sector)" by the Renewable Energy Department, Haryana, aims to promote the use of solar energy for domestic water heating by providing a financial subsidy to the residents of Haryana and Haryana Government employees residing in Chandigarh.

Benefit: Subsidy : ₹10,000/- per 100 LPD (Maximum ₹30,000/-) for FPC system and ₹3,000/- per 100 LPD (Maximum ₹9,000/-) is being provided.

The scheme "Solar Water Pumping System" by the Renewable Energy Department, Government of Haryana aims to encourage the adoption of renewable energy for irrigation. Through this scheme, solar water pumps are provided at a 75% subsidy to eligible farmers and institutions for irrigation need

Benefit: Subsidy Amount: A 75% subsidy is provided on the cost of solar water pumps.

The scheme aims to promote solo theatrical performances and encourage talent in the field of drama across Gujarat. A state-level solo drama competition is organized with cash prizes awarded to winners and special category performers.

Benefit: First prize winner receives ₹2,000/-. Second prize winner receives ₹1,500/-. Original Drama category winner receives ₹500/-. Best Director receives ₹500/-. Best Writer receives ₹500/-.
