Benefit: Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience and technical skills in curtain and garment stitching (tailoring). Domestic Sewing Machine: Each participant receives a domestic sewing machine upon completion of the training, included in the training fee. Duration: The programme lasts 90 days, with a total of 600 hours of training.

The Skill Development Training program aims to equip artisans with the skills necessary for the manufacture of footwear and leather goods. The project promotes the leather industry while enhancing the livelihoods of artisans.

The Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board offers "Skill Development Training" to registered building workers, their spouse, dependent siblings, and children. The training includes vocational and skill development courses from recognized government and private providers.

Benefit: Financial assistance covering course training fees. The financial assistance for boarding and lodging upto ₹150/- per day. Stipends or compensation for loss of daily wages during the training period. Training courses leading to certifications or degrees recognized by the government. Upgradation of training infrastructure through grants for eligible training providers.

The scheme aims to support youth by providing access to institutional credit for skill training courses. Through this scheme, collateral-free loans and credit guarantee support are provided to eligible borrowers for undertaking skill training programmes.

Benefit: The maximum loan limit under the Scheme has been enhanced from ₹1,50,000 to ₹7,50,000. The minimum and maximum loan limit under the Scheme are ₹5,000 and ₹7,50,000 respectively. The loan is provided without any collateral security and/or third-party guarantee. Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and Non-Banking Finance Company Micro Finance Institutions (NBFC-MFIs) have been included as eligible lending institutions in addition to Scheduled Banks under the Scheme. The interest rate charged by Member Lending Institutions should not be more than: - 1.5% per annum over External Benchmark Lending Rate (EBLR) for Scheduled Banks. - 21% per annum for NBFC/NBFC-MFIs. The Scheme provides guarantee cover to the extent of 70% to 75% of the amount in default. The claim payout to an eligible Lending Institution during the initial years is capped at 20% of the total disbursement made by the institution under the Scheme during a year. "Skill Upgradation and Vocational Education Scheme: For Worker'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Dept. of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides full course fees, boarding and lodging assistance to the registered workers who acquire Skill from technical institutions.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Full course fee for admission fee/ coaching fee. Full course fee for hostel boarding/ lodging.

The "Skill Upgradation Program Karnataka" scheme aims to upgrade the skills of artisans in leather technology, footwear/leather goods making, and designing by sending them for advanced training at renowned institutions like CFTI Chennai, CLRI, and Karnataka Institute of Leather Technology.

Benefit: Course Sponsorship: The corporation covers the entire cost of the course for selected artisans.- Stipend: A stipend is provided during the course duration to support the participants

Sikkim Skilled Youth Startup Scheme was launched in 2020 and is implemented by the Department of Commerce & Industries which aims at assisting the educated unemployed youth in setting up a myriad of enterprises through loans with back-ended financial subsidy assistance.

Benefit: Financial assistance in the form of a loan up to ₹2,00,000/-. The loan can be utilised for starting small businesses such as grocery stores, dairy parlours, animal fodder sales centres, mobile and computer repairing shops, etc.

The scheme offers loans up to ₹50 lakhs for self-employment to disabled persons in sectors like Agriculture, Small Business/Artisan & Traditional Occupations, Transport & Service Sectors, etc. Eligible individuals can access loans with interest rates ranging from 5% to 9% per annum.

Benefit: Under this scheme, loans up to ₹50,00,000/- are offered for self-employment to Persons with Disabilities across a wide range of income-generating activities, including Agriculture and Allied Activities, Small Business/Artisan & Traditional Occupations, Transport Sector & Service Sector, and Technical & Professional Trades/Courses. 1. Loans are provided to individuals falling under OH/VH/HH/MR categories at different rates of interest ranging from 5% to 9% per annum.

The scheme aims to support small businesses. Through this scheme, individual loans at an annual interest rate are provided to members of the SEBC Rabari and Bharwad communities for establishing businesses, such as grocery shops, dairy parlours, and animal food sales centres.

Benefit: The maximum loan limit is ₹2,00,000/- per individual. The interest rate is 6% per annum. The loan amount disbursed is 95% of the total project cost. The beneficiary Contribution is 5% of the total project cost.

This scheme provides loan of up to ₹25 lakhs is provided to persons with disabilities for establishing small industrial units focused on manufacturing, fabrication, & production. Permanent residents of Haryana, aged 18 or older, with a disability of 40% or more, is eligible to avail the benefits.

Benefit: Under this scheme, loan assistance of up to ₹25,00,000/- is provided to differently-abled persons for setting up manufacturing, fabrication, and production units.

The scheme aims to provide microcredit to the small entrepreneurs of the target group. It provides loans up to ₹1,25,000/- at 5% interest rate to eligible beneficiaries belonging to the Rabari and Bharwad castes.

Benefit: Loan Amount: Maximum loan limit of ₹1,25,000/-. Interest Rate: Subsidized interest rate of 5% per annum. Loan Coverage: 95% of the project cost is covered through a loan. Beneficiary Contribution: Only 5% contribution is required from the beneficiary. Target Group Support: Specifically designed for small entrepreneurs from the Rabari and Bharwad communities.

The scheme 'Smart Phone for Hearing and Visually Impaired Persons' was launched by the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Government of Tamil Nadu. The scheme aims to distribute smart phone to needy visually impaired & hearing impaired students, unemployed youth, self-employed.

Benefit: Free distribution of smart phones.

A scheme to provide Financial Assistance in the form of scholarships is provided to Transgender students studying in secondary school (IX & X) & senior secondary school (XI & XII) to reduce the incidence of dropout and support their educational aspirations.

Benefit: A sum of ₹13,500/- shall be given as post-matric / pre-matric scholarships to eligible transgender students once every year.

The scheme aims to provide employment opportunities to the person belonging to transgender person community by providing them market-oriented skills.

Benefit: Free of cost training is provided to trainees. Stipend at Rs. 1000 per month per trainee in case of Non-residential training Post placement assistance is also provided to the transgender candidate based on achievement of 80% attendance in the skill training programme. Trainees shall also be provided assistance/facilitated for wage/self-employment by the Training Institutions. NoteEach candidate shall provide live attendance (80%) which will be a crucial to get stipend and certificate of course completion.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and encourage meritorious students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.), Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), Bachelor of Home Science (B.H.Sc.), and Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) courses.

Benefit: Award Amount: ₹12,000/- per year.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and encourage meritorious students pursuing the M.Sc. Agriculture (Genetics & Plant Breeding) course by offering a fellowship of ₹1000/- for three semesters, thereby reducing their economic burden.

Benefit: Amount of Fellowship: ₹1,000/- per month (For three semesters only).

"Sneha Sparsha" is a healthcare scheme by the Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Assam. In this scheme, financial assistance shall be provided for specialized treatment of children below 12 years of age affected with some serious ailments.

Benefit: Permitted procedure and the maximum amount admissible: Bone Marrow Transplant: Leukemia (Blood Cancer) and other conditions like Thalassemia, in which Bone Marrow Transplant may be considered as a mode of treatment, financial assistance up to ₹ 10,00,000 per case for referral of such cases to 'leading Hospitals outside the state equipped with facilities for such treatment. Cochlear Implant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 5,35,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 3,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to a Hospital outside the state, if necessary. Liver Transplant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 16,00,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 10,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries. Necessary arrangements shall be made for referral of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the state with state-of-the-art facilities for such treatment. Kidney Transplant: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 3,00,000 per case to BPL beneficiaries and ₹ 2,00,000 per case to APL beneficiaries for referral of such cases to Hospitals outside the state, if necessary. Artificial Limb: The scheme will offer financial assistance of up to ₹ 1,00,000 for Cosmetic Limbs and up to ₹ 2,50,000 if a Motorized Artificial Limb is considered necessary. Blood Cancer: For treatment of Blood Cancer in children with Chemotherapy, financial assistance of up to ₹ 1,00,000 per case will be given. Specialized Eye Surgery: like Retinal Surgery or Posterior Segment Procedures, an amount of ₹ 15,000 will be given as assistance. Tumors: Solid tumors needing costly investigations and treatment with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy will be given financial assistance of up to ₹ 25,000. Children in need of cancer-related surgery will be given financial assistance of up to ₹ 50,000. Neurological Anomalies: Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida will be given assistance up to ₹ 50,000 for investigation, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation. Thalassemia: Financial assistance of ₹ 1,00,000 will be provided to children suffering from Thalassemia, who are not fit for Bone Marrow Transplant but require specialized treatment like splenectomy, blood transfusion, and associated medicines. NOTE 1: The rates notified are indicative and the actual admissible amount shall be fixed through a transparent process. NOTE 2: Out of these, the first five points shall be considered for referral outside the State, and the rest of the procedures (6 to 10) treatment is available in the Medical College Hospitals and other Hospitals inside the state.
