The “Nirman Shramik Pension Yojana (NSPY)” scheme by the BOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Odisha, is a social welfare scheme that provides pension to the eligible registered beneficiary or their dependents in certain circumstances.

Benefit: Beneficiary (up to 80 years): ₹500/- Per Month.- Beneficiary (80 years and above): ₹700/- Per Month.

Labour and ESI Department, Government of Odisha has introduced a scheme "Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana (NSPGY)" to meet the housing needs of the building and other construction workers in rural areas, registered under the Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OB&OCWWB).

Benefit: The unit cost under NSPGY for new construction of dwelling houses is ₹1,20,000/- for Non-IAP districts and ₹1,30,000/- for IAP districts. 1. The beneficiary of NSPGY will get a wage component for 90 person days and 95 person days in Non-IAP and IAP districts respectively under MGNREGS, which can be revised by the government from time to time. 1. The beneficiary of NSPGY will avail ₹12,000 for IHHL under MGNREGS/SBM(G). 1. In addition, the beneficiaries are entitled to convergence for potable drinking water supply system, electrification under “Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDU GJY)/BGJY”, wages for land development under MGNREGS, social security under AABY/RSBY, etc. as per extant guidelines. 1. The beneficiary will avail of incentives for early completion of the house as follows:- - For completion of the house and IHHL within 4 months of receipt of 1st installment, an incentive of ₹ 20,000/- will be paid to the beneficiary. - For completion of the house and IHHL within 6 months of receipt of 1st installment, an incentive of ₹10,000/- will be paid to the beneficiary. Govt. may revise the incentive amount from time to time. The amount/unit cost will be released in Instalments and will be linked to the level of construction reached. The Labor department of Rajasthan started "Nirman Shramiko Ko Videsh Mai Rojgar Hetu Visa Per Hone Wale Vyay Ka Punarbharan Yojana" to help construction workers.

Benefit: The beneficiary will be reimbursed for the expenses incurred for a visa for employment abroad up to a maximum of ₹5,000/-.

Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Nirman Shramikon Ke Bacchon Hetu Nishulk Ganvesh Evam Pustak Copy Hetu Sahaayata Raashi Yojana" for construction worker on 09 December 2022.

Nishadraj Scholarship Scheme

The scheme aims to promote higher education among children of fisher families working in federation reservoirs by providing scholarships of up to ₹20,000 for technical courses and up to ₹10,000 for non-technical courses.

Benefit: Scholarship up to ₹20,000 or the actual expenditure (whichever is lower) for technical courses such as Medical, Engineering, CLAT-based Law courses, and equivalent technical programs. Scholarship up to ₹10,000 or the actual expenditure (whichever is lower) for non-technical courses such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.C.A., B.F.F.C., B.Sc. Agriculture, Law, and similar parallel courses. NOTE: Scholarship amount is transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

"Nishaktata Pension Yojana (JBOCWWB)" is a scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development Govt of Jharkhand. The scheme provides a pension of ₹ 1,000/- per month to the registered beneficiary who is permanently disabled due to paralysis/leprosy/tuberculosis/accident.

Nishulk Ganavesh Yojana

The scheme aims to provide free uniforms to all girl students studying in Classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, as well as to all boys belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and boys from the General category who fall under the BPL category.

Benefit: Under this scheme, two sets of uniforms per student are provided through DBT/SMC to students studying in classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, covering all girls, all boys belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, and boys from the General category belonging to BPL families.

The scheme aims to ensure accessible, affordable and quality healthcare services for all citizens of Uttarakhand by providing free diagnostic tests across government healthcare facilities.

Benefit: Free diagnostic tests are provided at district hospitals, sub-district hospitals, community health centres, urban primary health centres, and primary health centres. Under the scheme, a total of 266 tests are available completely free of charge.

Noni Suraksha Yojana

The scheme aims to improve the educational and health status of girls, lay the foundation for their bright future, prevent female feticide, promote a positive attitude towards the birth of girls, and prevent child marriage. It provides financial benefit to girls who remain unmarried until 18 years.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- will be provided by a financial institution upon the girl's 18th birthday, provided she is unmarried and has completed 12th standard education. The amount shall not be less than ₹1,00,000/-. ₹5,000/- per year, totalling ₹25,000/- over 5 years, will be invested in the name of the eligible girl through the Life Insurance Corporation of India. An additional corpus/contribution of 10% of the amount given to LIC will be provided to ensure the maturity amount is not less than ₹1,00,000/- and to account for potential devaluation of the Rupee. The Life Insurance Corporation of India will handle all formalities from application receipt to payment. The beneficiary girl/family will also be eligible for benefits under other social security schemes operated by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, as per the rules. Mode of Disbursement: Through a bank account opened in the beneficiary girl's name at the time of payment. Disbursement Conditions: The beneficiary girl must provide her 12th-grade mark sheet, an affidavit of being unmarried until 18 years of age (verified by the Child Development Project Officer or authorised officer), and her bank account details. If the girl dies before the age of 18, the amount will be forfeited.

The scheme aims to promote the establishment of BPO and Information Technology Enabled Services units in the North-Eastern region. Through the scheme, financial assistance in the form of Viability Gap Funding is provided to eligible companies.

Benefit: Financial support [Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and/or Operational Expenditure (OPEX)] of up to 50% of expenditure per seat, with an upper limit of ₹ 1 Lakh/seat. Special incentives for: 7.5% incentive for employing 75% Women (only in NEBPS) 2% incentive for employing 4% differently abled persons Up to 10% incentive for generating employment beyond the approved target. 5% incentive for local entrepreneurs. This scheme has the potential to create employment opportunities of around 15000 direct jobs, considering three shift operations. It may also create a good number of indirect jobs.

National Productivity Council (NPC) provides internship training to students pursuing graduation and post-graduation. The interns shall be given exposure to related interventions being activities undertaken by NPC which will provide opportunities to learn and implement new concepts.

Benefit: Certificate The interns will be issued an internship completion certificate upon successful completion and submission of the full project report. Logistics & Support NPC shall provide them with working space with an internet facility and other necessities as deemed fit by the concerned reporting authorities. NOTE: The Interns will be required to bring their own laptops. Boarding & Lodging The Interns will be required to make their own arrangements towards transportation. Remuneration The selected interns shall not be entitled to any financial remuneration/stipend during their internship period. No payment towards a stipend, transportation etc. shall be paid to the interns by NPC.

"Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme" is one of the five sub-schemes of the National Social Assistance Programme. Under IGNOAPS, citizens living Below Poverty Line and 60 years or above in age are eligible to apply. A monthly pension of ₹ 200 up to 79 years and ₹ 500 thereafter.

Benefit: ₹200 per month for beneficiaries aged 60–79 years. ₹500 per month for beneficiaries aged 80 years and above. Note: At present old age beneficiaries are getting anywhere between ₹200/- to ₹1000/- depending on the State Contribution.
