The scheme aims to facilitate the expeditious disposal of ten to fifteen years old pending court cases. It provides legal advice, case assistance, and Lok Adalat referrals to marginalized litigants by engaging retired officers.

Benefit: Expeditious disposal of ten to fifteen-year-old pending cases in High Courts and Subordinate Courts, including matrimonial cases, accident claims, and criminal cases. Active identification of delayed cases through the National Judicial Data Grid. Provision of legal advice and connection of litigants to the District Legal Services Authority, Common Service Centers Tele Law, other government agencies, and civil society organisations. Referral of marginalized applicants to Lok Adalats for prioritized dispute resolution. Assistance towards prison reforms within the district in coordination with the district judiciary and other stakeholders. Critical analysis of pending cases to assist Registrar Generals and district judges in understanding bottlenecks and finding solutions. Coordination with state and district authorities to enable witnesses to arrive on time or within a stipulated time frame for the early disposal of cases. Execution of follow-up actions such as issuing notices, summons, stays, injunctions, and letters to lower courts for summoning records pursuant to court orders.

The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department offers a Pre Matric Scholarship for Other Backward Class (OBC) students. This scholarship aims to financially assist students from these categories to pursue secondary education and complete their matriculation.

The Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) Department, Government of Odisha, recognises that beggars are valuable human resources for society and seeks to create an environment that provides them equal opportunities.

Benefit: The students desirous to avail of the scholarship shall submit applications in the prescribed format to the DSSO with certification/ recommendation by the head of the educational institutions. Under this scheme students so eligible will get a scholarship for a maximum period of 10 months in an academic year. The students availing scholarships from either the Central or State Govt. under any other scheme shall not be considered. Rate of scholarship Pre-Matric (From Std. V to X) ₹ 800/- Per month. Post-Matric (From Std. XI–XII) ₹ 1,000/- Per month. General Graduate/ Post Graduate Courses ₹ 1,500/- Per month. Professional Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates ₹ 2,000/- Per month. 4. The DSSOs will scrutinize the applications and shall submit requirement of funds to the Department by the end of September. After receipt of the funds, DSSOs will remit the scholarship to the accounts of the students with the approval of the Collector. The scholarship required will be remitted in advance for one year in question and roll over to the next academic session. The utilization certificate on the expenditure shall be submitted by the DSSO along with proof of remittance with due counter signature of the Collector to the Department by 28th February of each year. Efforts should be made to utilize funds in the same year. In exigencies, the undisbursed balance amount should be rolled over for next year's payment and shall be utilized first.

The Odisha State Treatment Fund will provide financial assistance for treatment of the poor patients suffering from life threatening disorders & diseases. The financial assistance will be released to the Medical Institutions where the patient undergoes treatment.

Benefit: OSTF will be a top up to RSBY. The patient will be covered under RSBY at the first assistance and where the amount of assistance required exceeds the limit of RSBY, the patient will be provided assistance under OSTF. 1. Treatment cost so approved shall be within the upper limit of Rs.3.00 lakh (Rupees three lakh only). 1. The sanction of District Head Quarters Hospitals shall be limited to Rs.30,000/- per case. Where the quantum of assistance exceeds Rs.30,000/- CDMO with the approval of the Collector-cum-District Magistrate concerned can sanction up to Rs.50,000/-. 1. For assistance over and above Rs.3.00 lakh, approval of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha needs to be obtained.

The Scheme “OEC Pre-matric Educational Assistance” was started by the Backward Classes Development Department, Government of Kerala to provide educational assistance to pre-matric students belonging to these communities who are studying in Government/Aided/Unaided schools from Classes 1st to 10th.

The Government of Puducherry introduced Old Age And Destitute Pension Scheme to extend a helping hand by way of monthly financial assistance to Old Age Persons/Widows/ Deserted Women/ Unmarried Women and Enuches so that they could defray some petty personal expenses without depending on others.

Benefit: ₹1500/- per month for Old Age Persons, Destitute women, Widows, and Transgender with age less than 60 years. ₹2000/- per month for Old Age Persons, Destitute women, Widows, and Transgender with age between 60 years and 79 years. ₹3000/- per month for Old Age Persons, Destitute women, Widows, and Transgender with age 80 years and above.

Old Age Assistance or Pension is a welfare scheme of Delhi Govt to provide assistance to Old age needy persons. The primary goal of this scheme is to offer eligible senior citizens financial help in the form of monthly pensions.

Benefit: Eligible candidates in the 60–69 age range financial assistance of Rs. 2,000/- per month. The government also gives SC/ST/Minority group members an extra Rs. 500/- month. Rs. 2,500/- per month will be given to people over 70 years.

This scheme is to bring qualitative improvement in the living standards of old people of the state. Establishment and expansion of rehabilitation programs/ services and capacity building for strengthening the delivery of rehabilitation programs and services.

Benefit: Construction and operation of old age home "Sahara" 1. These old age homes also include housing, clothes, food, medical facilities etc. 1. Facilities will be available for qualitative improvement in the standard of living, cooperation and proper care of destitute and poor old people of the state.

The "Old Age Homes" was launched by the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. This scheme is to bring qualitative improvement in the living standards of old people of the state.

Benefit: NGO: The State Government is providing ₹5,60,000/- as grant-in-aid per home for a capacity of 40 inmates. The institutions are required to contribute ₹1,12,000/- as their share." Senior Citizens: Food, Shelter, Medical care, and Recreation facilities.

In 2010, the Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department of the West Bengal State Government introduced the "Old Age Pension" scheme.

Benefit: ₹1,000/- per month.

The Old Age Pension scheme aims to provide financial assistance and support to elderly citizens who have reached a certain age and require regular income for their sustenance.

The scheme aims to provide a monthly pension of ₹1,000/- to construction workers registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board who have attained the age of 60 years.

Punjab State Government started a pension for old age person of the state people.

Benefit: Amount : ₹ 1,500/- per month

Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹1,500/- is provided to senior citizens (both husband and wife) in the state who are 60 years of age or above and whose family’s monthly income is up to ₹4,000/- or who belong to the BPL category.

Benefit: A pension of ₹1,500/- per month is provided to eligible beneficiaries.

The scheme “Old Age Pension Scheme” was started by the Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for the registered workers of Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB).

Benefit: Cash assistance of ₹500/- per month, to the old age beneficiaries with an increase in ₹10/- on completion of every 5 years.

The "Old Age Pension Scheme'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides pension to registered construction workers aged above 60 years and have completed 3 years of membership with the Board.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: A pension of ₹2,000/- Per Month.

The 'Old Age Pension Scheme under Chief Minister’s Uzhavar Padhukappu Thittam' is a state scheme. The scheme aims to give a pension of ₹1,000/- to old-age farmers and destitute agricultural labourers who have membership card under CMPUT.

Benefit: Pension: ₹1,000/- per month. Free Clothes during Pongal and Deepavali: One free dhoti to a male pensioner. One free saree to a female pensioner. Free Rice in Anganwadi Centres: 2kg/month to those who are taking nutritious meal. 4kg/month to those who are not taking nutritious meal.

The scheme aims to provide a monthly pension of ₹1,500/- to construction workers registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board who have attained the age of 65 years.
