The Directorate of Higher Education has launched the Nagaland State Merit Scholarship for the students of classes from 11th to 12th and UG Degree to PG degree so that they will be able to secure their scholarship rights or seats after getting online registration under this scholarship.

Benefit: Nagaland State Merit Scholarship will provide social security provisions to the students of Nagaland state. This will proven to be an amazing opportunity. Students of post-matric classes will be able to secure their scholarship rights. Students will be given the scholarship amount either on a monthly basis or a yearly basis. The only selection criteria will be that the student will need to secure at least 70% to 80% marks in the previous year’s exam. One can also get a scholarship renewal after submitting his or her Marksheet. This will provide an equal amount of educational opportunities to the students. Students belonging to the ST categories will also be given the same scholarship references. Students can apply online under the Nagaland State Merit Scholarship before the last date of online form submission for getting registration on a time. Students will be given the scholarship amount in the DBT mode

The scheme aims to develop 400 Nagar Vans and 200 Nagar Vatikas to create bio-diverse green spaces in urban areas. The scheme provides a grant of ₹4,00,000/- per hectare to Municipalities, Urban Local Bodies, and Institutions for afforestation and biodiversity conservation.

Benefit: The Ministry will provide a one-time development and non-recurring grant of ₹4,00,000/- per hectare. The maximum financial assistance for a Nagar Van is limited to ₹2,00,00,000/- for 50 hectares. The State Forest Department is permitted to engage one technical consultant at a cost of ₹40,000/- per month until the completion of the project for monitoring and other works. The State Forest Department will receive a lump sum grant of ₹50,000/- per project for monitoring, evaluation, and meeting overhead expenses. Mode of Disbursal: The funds will be released directly to the respective State Forest Departments from the National Fund under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority. Frequency and Validity: The grant is a one-time assistance, released in two separate instalments, and financial assistance is provided to each Nagar Van or Nagar Vatika for the first two years only. Components Fencing of the identified area must be undertaken. Establishment and maintenance of woodlots or tree cover with an emphasis on locally appropriate species must be carried out. Theme-based plantations such as Smriti Van or Nakshatra Van may be established. Plants representing floral biodiversity, including ornamental trees, medicinal plants, and fruit trees, must be included. Irrigation and rain water harvesting facilities must be established. Establishment and maintenance of public conveniences, drinking water facilities, benches, walkways, and cycle tracks must be completed. An Information and Extension Centre, including display boards and information brochures, must be established and maintained. Conditions The first instalment of 70% of the sanctioned amount is released to the State Forest Department after the approval of the project by the National Authority. The remaining second instalment of 30% is released after 60% utilization of the first instalment and on the submission of the utilisation certificate and progress report. The State Forest Department must further release the portion of the grant meant for an implementing agency within a period of seven days. A corpus of the entire funds received by the implementing agency must be maintained as an interest-bearing account in a government or public sector bank. Detailed accounts of receipts and expenditures must be maintained by each implementing agency and the State Forest Department. All funds received by the implementing agency must be subjected to an annual audit by a chartered accountant.

Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Nai Hetu Avashyak Upkaran Sahayata Yojana" for unorganized worker on 27 January 2018.

Benefit: Registered barbers will be provided barber kit including scissors, straight razor, comb, hair cutting cape, water spray bottle and shaving brush.

The "Nalanda Award" implemented by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Gujarat, recognizes organizations for exceptional work in the field of social welfare, particularly for the socially and educationally disadvantaged sections.

Benefit: Financial assistance to the selected organization.

Under this scheme, farmers from SC and ST categories are eligible for a subsidy covering 75% of the unit cost (up to ₹25,000/-) for digging a tube well and 75% of the unit cost (up to ₹15,000/-) for the successful installation of a tube well submersible pump.

Benefit: Subsidy for Tube Well Digging: - A grant of 75% of the unit cost (up to a maximum of ₹25,000/-), is provided for digging a tube well. - Applicable for both successful and unsuccessful digging. Subsidy for Submersible Pump Installation: - A grant of 75% of the unit cost (up to a maximum of ₹15,000/-), is provided for the successful installation of a submersible pump on a tube well. - Applicable only for successful installation of a Submersible Pump. Note: The subsidy is transferred to the bank account of the farmers.

The scheme aims to promote sustainable and organic farming practices among farmers residing in villages along the banks of the Ganga and its tributaries.

Benefit: Under the scheme, farmers are provided assistance to adopt organic farming through the formation of clusters.

The Namo Tablet Yojana in Gujarat is a state-specific version of the central government's PM Tablet Scheme. The scheme was launched in 2017 by the Gujarat government and aims to distribute tablets to around 3.5 lakh students in the state.

Benefit: Benefits Tablets are provided to students studying in colleges and universities in the Gujarat state.

The scheme "Namo Laxmi Yojana" by the Education Department, aims to reduce the dropout rate of girls in secondary and higher secondary education by providing financial assistance for completing studies from Class 9th to 12th.

Benefit: Total Financial Assistance: Each eligible girl will receive a total financial support of ₹50,000/- on completion of classes 9th to 12th in government, aided, and private schools. Class 9th-10th Benefit: ₹10,000/- per annum (₹500/- per month based on attendance × 10) and the remaining 50% will be credited via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) after passing the Class 10th board examination. Class 11th-12th Benefit: ₹15,000/- per annum (₹750/- per month based on attendance × 10) and the remaining 50% will be credited via DBT after passing the Class 12th board examination.

The scheme "Namo Saraswati Vignan Sadhana Yojana (8620)" by the Education Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to promote science education by providing financial assistance to students enrolling in the science stream in Class 11th and 12th.

Benefit: Class 11th Benefit: ₹10,000/- per annum, paid as a monthly stipend of ₹1,000/- for 10 months. - Class 12th Benefit: ₹15,000/- per annum. Students will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,000/- for 10 months (₹10,000) - Additional Benefit: ₹5,000/- after passing the Class 12th board examination.

To increase the income of farmers, State government has announced "Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana" in which cultivable land holding farmer families of the state will get an additional amount of Rs. 6000/- per year (along with Rs. 6000/- through Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Benefit: 1) Eligible Farmers families as per PM KISAN will be Benefited Rs. 2000/- per Instalment. 2) The beneficiaries benefited in PM KISAN will get the benefit of NSMNY. 3) The NSMNY beneficiaries will be benefited from the list provided by GoI. 4) First instalment of NSMNY is given as per the list of 14th instalment of PMKISAN. 5) Eligible farmers family will get Rs. 2000/- from PMKISAN & NSMNY at each instalment. 6) Eligible farmers will get Rs. 12,000/- in a year from both PM KISAN & NSMNY schems. 7) Farmers will be benefited through DBT. 8) The benefit of the NSMNY will be credited only in Aadhar linked bank accounts. 9) The benefit credited to the ineligibles in NSMNY will be recovered as per the SoP of PMKISAN

The scheme aims to ensure proper nutritional support to pregnant women and lactating mothers and encourage institutional deliveries. It provides financial assistance of ₹12,000/- to eligible women beneficiaries covering expenses from conception to delivery.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Amount Eligible women beneficiaries receive ₹12,000/- from conception to delivery of the child for their first two live children, distributed in phases. Disbursal for First Pregnancy ₹5,000/- at the time of registration (₹2,000/- from State Government and ₹3,000/- from Central Government) ₹2,000/- after six months of pregnancy (from the State Government) ₹3,000/- immediately after institutional delivery (from the State Government) ₹2,000/- after the 14-week vaccination (from the Central Government) Disbursal for Second Pregnancy ₹2,000/- at the time of registration ₹3,000/- after six months of pregnancy ₹6,000/- after institutional delivery (amount given by the Central Government if the newborn is a girl and by the State Government if the newborn is a boy) ₹1,000/- from the State Government after the 14-week vaccination Mode of Disbursement: The Amount is transferred directly into the beneficiary woman's bank account through installments. Additional Benefits: Beneficiary women are also eligible to avail the benefits of other Central Government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana and Janani Suraksha Yojana. Conditions for Availment A certificate from the Medical Institution of Delivery is required for the last installment.

The project aims to enhance climate-resilience and profitability of smallholder farming systems in 15 project districts of Maharashtra through promotion of climate resilient technology and commodity value chain across approximately 5,000 drought-prone and/or sodicity/salinity affected villages.

Benefit: 1) Back ended financial subsidies for Farmers to adopt climate resilient agricultural initiatives in their farms 2) Financial assistance available for protected cultivation techniques such as Poly House, Poly Tunnels, etc. 3) Subsidy also available for on farm water conservation activities such as Drip, Sprinklers, Farm Pond, Farm Pond linings, etc. 4) Climate Resilient seed production also covered 5) Special assistance for Farmer Producing Organizations/companies and Self Help Groups 6) Disbursement through Aadhaar enabled payment system 7) Privilege given to women, person with disabilities and landless labourers

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for upto 2 girls in a family. Assistance is given in 2 installments per girl child: 1st installment of ₹11,000 is provided at the time of birth if girl is born in a hospital/ANM center & 2nd installment of ₹51,000 is given when girl passes Class 12th.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to two girls of an eligible family in two installments for each girl child: - ₹11,000/- at the time of birth. - ₹51,000/- when the girl passes Class 12. For the first installment, the application must be submitted within six months of the girl’s birth, and the child must be born in a hospital/ANM center. For the second installment, the application can be submitted when the girl passes Class 12. Applications are invited from July to November of the same year in which she passes. If applied in the next year, the application will not be considered valid. The second installment will be granted only if the girl has passed Class 12 from the Uttarakhand Board, Secondary Education Board of other states, CBSE, ICSE, or the National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, and the girl must be unmarried.

The scheme aims to improve local cattle breeds through natural insemination. Under this, indigenous breeding bulls are provided on subsidy to livestock farmers in rural Gram Panchayats.

Benefit: Cost and Subsidy For bulls procured from outside Madhya Pradesh: ₹25,720/- per unit. For bulls procured from within Madhya Pradesh: ₹18,260/- per unit. Subsidy: 75% of the cost. Beneficiary contribution: 25% of the cost.

The scheme aims to provide an alternative grievance redressal mechanism for women at the grassroots level through mediation, counselling, and awareness of rights and entitlements.

Benefit: Grievance Redressal Support: Provides an alternative dispute resolution platform at the local level. Addresses cases related to harassment, domestic violence, property disputes, and social issues. Counselling and Mediation: Offers counselling, negotiation, and mediation services. Ensures resolution through mutual consent and evidence-based approach. Awareness Generation: Spreads awareness about legal rights, government schemes, and entitlements. Conducts campaigns on gender equality and women’s rights. Community Support and Facilitation: Acts as a support system for women through handholding and guidance. Connects beneficiaries to institutions like police, hospitals, and legal services. Financial Support (Operational): ₹3,000/- per meeting (for the entire group) to cover logistics such as stationery, travel, and refreshments. ₹500/- honorarium to Mukhya Nyaya Sakhi per meeting. ₹200/- incentive to each Nyaya Sakhi per meeting. ₹800/- per member for uniform, provided twice a year.

The "Nari Niketans" were established in 1976 by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir wherein deserted /destitute ladies/ widows having no means of livelihood are given admissions. There are seven Nari Niketan in Jammu & Kashmir. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme.

Benefit: The inmates are provided care and protection in the institutions. Besides food, shelter, bedding & clothing are also provided. For school-going destitute girls free education is provided in addition to other facilities. The children accompanying the mothers will be entitled to admission subject to the condition that male children after they attain the age of 8 years shall be transferred to Bal Ashrams. The inmate shall remain in the institution till they are rehabilitated/get married/ covered under any schemes for employment and self-employment.

The award aims to acknowledge the achievements of women & recognize their contributions to society and the nation. The award is conferred annually on individuals in recognition of their exceptional service towards the cause of women’s empowerment, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized women.

Benefit: Award Components: Certificate and a cash amount of ₹2,00,000/- per awardee. - Number of Awards: Maximum 15 awards. - Relaxation Provision: The selection committee may relax the maximum number of awards at its discretion. Presentation of the Award: 1. The Award shall be presented at New Delhi at a special ceremony/ function held on the occasion of the International Women's Day on 8th March every year. 1. The Ministry will reimburse travel expenses by economy class by shortest route, for the awardees to and from Delhi, by Air India or any other airline as specifically permitted and local travelling allowance on production of bills and air tickets. Apart from this, boarding and lodging arrangements for the awardees for three days (one day prior and one day after the date of Award ceremony) shall be arranged by the Ministry. 1. In special circumstances, the Ministry may also reimburse travel expenses by economy class by shortest route, for one companion of the awardee, in case the awardee belongs to any of the following categories: - Awardee is more than 70 years of age (as on date of award ceremony); - Awardee is Divyangjan or a person with disability, who cannot manage without companion's support (certificate from designated authority of State/ Central Government is required to be submitted); - Awardee belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category; - Awardee is illiterate or having language barrier, and cannot manage without a companion.

The scheme aimed at promoting coconut cultivation in non-traditional areas like Bihar. Under this scheme, farmers and urban residents can obtain coconut saplings at a subsidized rate to encourage widespread plantation and utilization.

Benefit: Subsidy Support: 75% subsidy i.e. ₹63.75/- will be payable on the unit cost of ₹85/- per sapling. - Distribution of Saplings: A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 712 saplings (178 saplings per hectare) will be provided to beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to incentivize and recognize Gram Panchayats that demonstrate outstanding work towards de-addiction, ensuring 100% of their population lives a drug-free life. The scheme provides the benefit of a cash award of ₹1,00,000/- and a Certificate of Appreciation to Gram Panchayat.

Benefit: Cash Award: ₹1,00,000/- per district per Panchayat.- Certificate of Appreciation: A certificate detailing the Gram Panchayat's outstanding work.- Travel Expenses: Coverage of coming and going travel expenses for the related Sarpanch (Head of the Gram Panchayat). Disbursement Conditions Mode and Time: The नगद पुरस्कार (Cash Award) must be provided to the related Sarpanch (Head of the Gram Panchayat) for the Gram Panchayat within one month of being selected for the award.- Mode: The award amount must be given via Cheque or Bank Draft or Real Time Gross Settlement (R.T.G.S.).- Deposit: The cash award must be deposited into the Gram Panchayat's bank account.- Certificate Presentation: The certificate of appreciation must be presented at a ceremony organized on Republic Day.- Travel Reimbursement: Travel expenses must be paid by the Collector to the related Sarpanch (Head of the Gram Panchayat) upon attending the Republic Day ceremony at the District Headquarters.

The scheme aims to establish professional, well-trained, motivated and adequately equipped workforce for maintenance and management of sewers and septic tanks, addressing the critical need to eliminate fatalities resulting from workers entering sewers and septic tanks without proper safety measures.

Personal Protective Equipment provision for deep cleaning sanitation workers undertaking manual cleaning in emergency conditions. Operational Support Establishment of citizen helpline number 14420 for emergency sanitation service requests. Trained manpower deployment with requisite safety equipment availability. Professional workforce equipped with Personal Protective Equipment and safety devices for confined space entry. Training and Capacity Building Specific training provision for Sewer Entry Professionals and Emergency Response Sanitation Unit staff for cleaning of sewers and septic tanks in emergency conditions. Competency-based training approach matching global standards for all Emergency Response Sanitation Unit staff. Simulation and video-based training with practical assessments and certification.
