The scheme of Junior Research Fellowship in Sciences, Humanities, and Social Science by UGC, Dept. of Education, is open to candidates who qualify for the National Eligibility Test-Junior Research Fellowship(NET-JRF) of the UGC and the UGC-Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (UGC-CSIR).

Benefit: Fellowship Amount: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): ₹37,000 per month for 2 years Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): ₹42,000 per month for the remaining period Contingency A (for Humanities & Social Sciences): ₹10,000 per annum for JRF ₹20,500 per annum for SRF Contingency B (for Science Scholars): ₹12,000 per annum for JRF ₹25,000 per annum for SRF Housing Rent Allowance (HRA) (HRA is provided as per the categorization of cities by the Government of India.) Hostel Accommodation: If suitable single-seated hostel accommodation is provided by the institution, the fellow is eligible to receive only hostel fees (excluding mess, electricity, water charges, etc.). A certificate confirming this must be furnished through the Registrar/Director/Principal. HRA is not permissible for fellows staying in hostel accommodation. Alternative Accommodation: If hostel accommodation is not available, the fellow may be provided with single accommodation by the host institution. In such cases, rent paid by the fellow may be reimbursed on an actual basis, subject to the HRA ceiling set by the Government of India. Self-Arranged Accommodation: If the fellow arranges her own accommodation, she is entitled to HRA as per the Government of India's city categorization norms. Medical Facilities No separate or fixed medical assistance is provided under the fellowship. However, the fellow may avail of the medical facilities available at the institution, university, or college. Leave Policy General Leave: Fellows are entitled to a maximum of 30 days of leave per year, in addition to public holidays. They are not entitled to any additional vacations. Maternity/Paternity Leave: Maternity/Paternity leave is granted as per Government of India norms, at full fellowship rates, once during the tenure of the fellowship. Intermittent Break (For Women Candidates Only): Women candidates may avail an intermittent break of up to one year (maximum three times during the fellowship). The total break period must not exceed one year. This period will not be counted toward the tenure of the fellowship, ensuring that the fellowship duration remains the same. Academic Leave: Academic leave without fellowship is permissible for one year during the fellowship tenure. This leave can be availed for academic assignments, teaching, or foreign visits related to research work. The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure. Expenditure for foreign visits related to research work cannot be claimed from UGC. Tenure of Fellowship: These are integrated five-year fellowships for M.Phil. and Ph.D. subject academic criteria in force for selection of Ph.D. program. The scheme "Junior/Senior Fellowship in the Field of Fine Arts" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to support artistic innovation and research by offering fellowships to young and senior artists in Gujarat.

Benefit: Fellowship for Senior Artists: ₹3,000/-per month. - Fellowship for Junior Artists: ₹2,000/- per month.

The scheme aims to foster innovation and product diversification in the Jute Diversified Products sector. It provides innovative designs, skill training, and technical specifications to Jute Artisans, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Exporters, and Women Self Help Groups.

Benefit: Provides up to 2 free designs per unit per quarter, with the cost of raw materials and accessories borne by the National Jute Board on an actual basis. Offers an unlimited number of designs on a First-In-First-Out basis under the cost-sharing model, where the design ideas and making charges are provided free of cost by the Jute Design Resource Centre. Grants the exporter or manufacturer the exclusive right to market and sell the developed cost-shared design in the domestic and export market for a period of one year without disclosure to others. Permits the manufacturer to have full rights to manufacture, market, and export the product up to the registered trademark period if a trademark is obtained within the initial one-year confidentiality period. Provides free technical specification sheets with required technical tips and showcases sample bags in display for reference. Organises specific workshops or skill training programmes at Patsan Bhavan or at different National Jute Board specified centres without any charges. Conditions The exporter or manufacturer must bear the entire cost of trademark registration without claiming any financial assistance from the Jute Design Resource Centre or the National Jute Board. The exporter or manufacturer must take up legal action with the concerned trademark authorities against impersonating units themselves, as the National Jute Board is not responsible for the copying of trademarked products. The entire raw material cost and accessories used for developing new jute samples under the cost-sharing basis must be borne by the exporter, artisan, or manufacturer.

The scheme aims to set up production centres to promote eco-friendly jute products and generate sustained employment. It provides skill training, machine subsidies, and financial incentives to collaborating agencies, targeting artisans, women self-help groups, and entrepreneurs.

Benefit: Financial Assistance for Activities The scheme provides an estimated cost of ₹12,40,000/- for organizing 5 cycles of basic, advance, and design training for 24 beneficiaries per cycle. Incentive for Collaborating Agencies: The agency receives ₹2,48,000/- (calculated as 20% of the activity cost) for organizing the activities and maintaining the infrastructure. Infrastructure Support The scheme provides ₹12,000/- for the installation of a biometric machine, internet connectivity, and maintenance. Machinery Subsidy The scheme offers ₹9,00,000/- per year per centre to procure 72 machines (at 50% subsidy or a maximum ceiling of ₹12,500/- per machine, whichever is less) for successful beneficiaries engaged in production. Disbursal 50% of the activities cost is released as an advance along with the approval of the action plan. The remaining 50% of the activities cost, the cost of the biometric machine, and the incentive are released upon successful completion of the activities and submission of final claims and reports. The machine subsidy is released in two installments, where 50% is released within one month of installation, and the remaining 50% is released after six months upon inspection certifying that the beneficiaries are engaged in manufacturing and sales. The payments of such incentives are paid strictly through Direct Bank Transfer. Conditions The collaborating agency must ensure the engagement of at least 50% of the trainees in jute diversification activities post-training. In the case of self-employment, the beneficiary must achieve sales of at least ₹5,000/- per month or ₹15,000/- per quarter. The agency must maintain a separate bank account for all advances and limit cash transactions to a maximum of ₹5,000/- per activity. The installation of an Aadhaar linked biometric attendance machine and a webcam is mandatory at the training site.

Jute Raw Material Bank Scheme (JRMB) will be set up in the local clusters across the country in collaboration with bonafide Agencies who have adequate experience in similar activities and have the required storage, display, and selling infrastructure.

Benefit: 30% Financial Support on Sales Value - Up to ₹12,00,000/- per year per JRMB - Includes: - 5% direct discount to beneficiaries on mill-gate price - 25% support for transportation and operational costs Additional Freight Subsidy - ₹1.50 per kg for JRMBs in hilly or high-transport-cost areas (e.g., J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, NER states) 100% Reimbursement - Financial support disbursed quarterly upon submission of valid documents (invoices, GST returns, certified bank statement) Affordable Raw Jute Access - Jute Artisans, Women Self-Help Groups (WSHGs), and small JDP units can purchase raw jute materials at subsidized rates Reliable Supply Chain Support - Ensures regular and cost-effective access to jute fabrics, yarns, and decorative materials from certified suppliers

Jute Resource-Cum-Production Centre (JRCPC) will be set up in the local clusters and localities across the country in collaboration with bonafide Agencies who have adequate experience in training and skilling programs and have required training cum-production infrastructure.

Benefit: Activity Cost: Activity cost is ₹2,14,000/- per cycle for a duration of 35 days. - Maximum Assistance: Maximum financial assistance of ₹2,14,000/- is provided per cycle. - Beneficiary Coverage: Each group consists of 20 beneficiaries. - Incentive to CA: A 20% incentive is provided to the CA on successful completion of the activity. - Support for Infrastructure: Financial support of ₹12,000/- is provided for biometric machine, internet, and maintenance expenses. - Machine Procurement Support: 75% financial assistance is provided for procuring machines, subject to a maximum limit of ₹12,500/- per machine.

The scheme provides margin money subsidies (25–30%) for new rural industrial projects (₹1,00,000/- to 25,00,000/-) to artisans, entrepreneurs, and SHGs, leveraging a 24-hour electricity supply in villages. Beneficiaries must be aged 25–50 years with a Class 10th education.

Benefit: Margin Money Subsidy For General Category 25% for projects up to ₹10,00,000/-. 25% on first ₹10,00,000/- + 10% on remaining cost (up to ₹25,00,000/-). For SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped 30% for projects up to ₹10,00,000/-. 30% on first ₹10,00,000/- + 10% on remaining cost (up to ₹25,00,000/-). Project Cost Coverage Includes machinery, raw materials, and working capital (max 10% of total cost). Excludes land/building expenses. Disbursement The subsidy is credited to the beneficiary’s account after 2 years of successful operation (upon verification by DIC).

Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana is a scheme launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of registered workers in state. The scheme aims to alleviate the financial burden of workers and promote the social welfare of their families.

Benefit: Financial Assistance; ₹51,000/-

Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Kachara Beenane Vaale Hetu Suraksha Upakaran Sahaayata Yojana" for unorganized worker on 19 June 2017.

Benefit: Gloves, Shoes and Rain Coat (OR) A cash assistance in the amount determined by the CSID.

The "Kaidi Sahay Yojana" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Gujarat, provides financial assistance of ₹25,000/- to the family of a prisoner who is the sole or main earner, to support them through self-employment.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: A one-time assistance of ₹25,000/-.

The scheme provides financial assistance to pilgrims from Gujarat undertaking the Kailash Darshan Yatra. To be eligible, the applicant must be a selected pilgrim from Gujarat and submit proof of yatra completion within 90 days. Applications for this scheme are accepted offline.

Benefit: One-time financial assistance is provided to the pilgrim for undertaking the Kailash Darshan Yatra. Validity: Once in a lifetime per pilgrim. _The scheme guidelines do not specify the amount of the benefit; applicants should verify with the authorities._

The scheme “Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Scheme 2016” was launched by the Tourism Department, Government of Haryana on 12th July 2016. Under the scheme, the government of Haryana provides financial assistance to the pilgrims of the State of Haryana.

Benefit: The financial assistance will be provided up to the extent of ₹50,000/- or 50% of the actual expenditure per person whichever is less. 1. Financial assistance shall be provided to a maximum of 50 (fifty) numbers of pilgrims.

This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the pilgrims of the state going on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Under this scheme, the State Government will reimburse 50% of the total expenses incurred during the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, up to a maximum of ₹30,000/- per pilgrim.

The “Kaimagga Vikasa Yojana” aims to sustain and develop the handloom weaving skills of existing weavers and to attract young talent to the industry, thus preserving the rich cultural heritage of handloom weaving in Karnataka.

Benefit: Subsidy: Beneficiaries can get 50% of the unit cost of new handloom/equipment/machinery. Disbursement of Subsidy: 50% after initial verification and the remaining 50% after confirming the purchase of equipment. NOTE: The remaining 50% can be financed by the beneficiary from a financial institution/bank loan or through the beneficiary's own capital.

"Kala Gaurav Puraskar" is presented to artists working in the field of Art and Culture who have given outstanding contributions in their respective fields of art. Such artists need to be felicitated and their substantial contribution needs to be felicitated.

Benefit: The awardee shall be felicitated with a shawl, shrifal, a certificate of appreciation and a financial purse to the extent of ₹ 25,000/- per individual. Every year maximum of 30 cases shall be considered as per the availability of funds.

The scheme "Kala Samman Scheme" grants financial assistance to eminent artists who are in indigent circumstances as a token of respect for their contribution to the field of Art and culture.

Benefit: Financial Assistance to the extent of ₹ 2,500/- per month every year. However, the recipient of State Cultural Award shall be entitled for Financial Assistance to the extent of ₹ 3,200/- per month every year.

The scheme aims to promote and encourage artistic talent among school students of Classes 9 to 12.

Benefit: A total of 20 students, who secured first place in 10 categories across boys’ and girls’ groups, participated in the National Level Kala Utsav Pratiyogita held at Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, representing the state.

The scheme aims to financially assist the Goan artists to meet expenses towards repair or construction of their houses damaged due to natural calamities. The maximum financial assistance provided under this component is ₹25,000/- or the valuation done by the Taluka Mamlatdar.

Benefit: Financial assistance shall be provided to meet expenses towards the repair or construction of a house damaged due to natural calamities. The quantum of financial assistance shall be a maximum of ₹25,000/- or as per the valuation done by the concerned Taluka Mamlatdar, whichever is less.

The scheme aims to provide financial relief to the families of deceased Goan artists by assisting them in meeting funeral expenses, thereby acknowledging the contributions of artists and supporting their families during difficult times. The component provides financial assistance of up to ₹10,000/-.

Benefit: Financial assistance of up to a maximum of ₹10,000/- shall be sanctioned to meet expenses in connection with the funeral of the Goan artist. The benefit is provided as a one-time lump sum grant. The financial assistance amount shall be disbursed to the eligible member of artist's family in the form of Electronic Clearing System mode.
