ICMR- Post Doctoral Fellowship (ICMR-PDF) Scheme is being instituted to foster high-quality research opportunities for promising fresh Ph.D./MD/MS holders in the areas of basic science, communicable and non-communicable diseases, & reproductive health including nutrition at ICMR Institutes/Centers.

Benefit: Monthly Fellowship: ₹65,000/- per month along with HRA and NPA as per Government rules. - Contingency Grant: ₹3,00,000/- per year for research-related expenses. - Travel Support: Up to 25% of the contingency grant for national travel related to research work. - Tenure Duration: 2 years, extendable by 1 more year based on performance. - Refund Clause: Fellowship amount must be refunded if leaving before 1 year. - Fund Disbursement: Fellowship and contingency grants are released every six months. - Accommodation Facility: Accommodation may be provided (HRA not applicable if provided). - Medical & Leave Benefits: As per ICMR rules for fellows.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and research opportunities to eligible candidates through Junior Research Fellowship for pursuing Ph.D. programmes in medical and social science fields.

The IPL Centre for Rural Outreach (ICRO) has launched ICRO Amrit Internship Programme focused on youth productivity for prosperity. The interns will be placed at the headquarters and Regional Offices of NPC/ IPL. The duration of the internship will be 3 months initially, renewable up to four times.

Benefit: A non-refundable grant of ₹50,000/- is provided for the repair of a house. This financial assistance is intended for improving basic amenities in houses that lack proper windows, doors, roofing, flooring, finishing, plumbing, sanitation, or electrification.

"Immediate Assistance for Severe Injury in Road/Fire Accident" is a Welfare Scheme by the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund of the Dept of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry. Through this scheme, ₹25,000/- is provided to the registered Ex-servicemen/Widows of Ex-servicemen who have suffered a Road/Fire Accident.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹25,000/-, credited to the beneficiary’s Bank Account through RTGS/ NEFT.

The "Immediate Assistance in Case of Accident to the Beneficiary" scheme was launched by the Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board & aims to provide financial assistance to registered building workers and their families in case of worker accidents, disabilities, or death.

Benefit: Financial assistance for hospitalization: ₹5,000/- for the first 5 days ₹500/- per day for the remaining days subject to a maximum of ₹15,000/- Financial assistance for disability caused by accident: ₹25,000/- for upto 25% disability. ₹50,000/- for upto 50% disability. ₹1,00,000/- for disability above 50%. The scheme aims to support small and marginal jute growers with adequate pre and post harvesting operations to improve fiber quality and receive higher prices. The scheme provides 100% certified seeds at subsidized rates, free mechanical equipment, microbial consortiums, retting ponds.

Benefit: Provision of 100% certified high yielding jute seeds at a 50% subsidized rate supplied by the National Seed Corporation and the Central Research Institute For Jute And Allied Fibres to ensure better crop quality and yield. Demonstration of scientific jute cultivation practices and free usage of mechanical interventions, including multi-row seed drills, nail weeders, and single wheel jute weeders, reducing manual weeding costs by approximately 35%. Free distribution of a microbial consortium to improve the quality of jute fiber by at least one grade, increase fiber productivity by 10%, and reduce retting time from 18 to 12 days. Construction of small retting ponds in the farmers’ fields through the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. A one-time financial assistance of ₹5,000/- per pond towards maintenance costs. Disbursal Conditions for Financial Assistance The ₹5,000/- maintenance cost is transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer after the completion of the retting pond and the submission of a confirmation report, photographic evidence, and Global Positioning System coordinates by the field officials. Extensive farmer training and awareness programs on the use of seed drills, single wheel jute weeders, and microbial retting techniques. Short Message Service advisories and voice messages detailing land preparation, sowing, de-weeding, plant protection, and retting to educate the growers. Conditions for Availment The farmers must utilize the provided inputs such as certified seeds and the microbial consortium strictly for jute cultivation and retting, and successfully maintain the constructed in-situ retting ponds on their fields.

A Travel Grant Scheme by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), for the students from AICTE approved Engineering College/institutions. The scheme aims at enhancing the quality of engineering education in the country.

Benefit: Financial Support Financial Support for Physical Participation Reimbursement of 100% of the registration fee. Reimbursement of 100% of the visa fee. Reimbursement of 50% of the actual airfare for discounted/concessional air tickets, provided the expenditure is not claimed from any other source. Reimbursement of travel expenses from the institution to the nearest airport and back, limited to AC II-Class train fare. Maximum financial assistance per student is limited to ₹1,50,000/-. Financial Support for Online Participation Reimbursement of 100% of the registration fee incurred for presenting the research paper online through video conferencing.
