The scheme aims to provide boarding and lodging facilities to tribal students who wish to pursue primary, secondary and higher secondary education. Free lodging and boarding facilities are provided to intended beneficiaries who are students studying in standards 5th to 12th.

The "Grant in Aid to Old Age Home" is a scheme by the Dept. of Social Justice & Special Assistance, Govt. of Maharashtra. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the families/dependents of individuals who lose their lives due to any disaster. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹4,00,000/- is given as ex-gratia to support the affected families.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the dependents of the deceased receive financial assistance of ₹4,00,000/- as an ex-gratia grant.

"Grant of 50% Subsidy for the Purchase of Aquarium and Its Accessories" is introduced with the objective to propagate the importance of aquarium keeping and to inculcate the art of aquarium keeping among the general public. The scheme is extended to all the regions of Puducherry.

Benefit: The department has assessed the unit cost for the aquarium and its accessories at ₹ 7,000 per unit. The aquarium proposed to be issued to the beneficiaries consists of one aquarium/moulded aquarium, one stand, one power filter, one air pump, two numbers of 1’ tube lights, 10 kgs. of gravel, 9 numbers of gold fishes, 1 number of 100 grams fish food pocket and one number of scoop net. Pattern of Assistance (in ₹) Unit cost: 7,000 (Maximum) 50% subsidy by Government: 3,500 (Maximum) 50% and above the cost of an aquarium to be paid by the beneficiary to the Secretary/Administrator of PSFCF/ KFCMU/ Fishermen Co-operative Societies in Mahe and Yanam: 3,500 (Maximum) May vary from time to time.

This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to poor brides living below the poverty line to meet their marriage expenses. The assistance amount is ₹25,000, and it is granted for the first marriage of the bride. The scheme is implemented through the Department of Women and Child Development.

Through this scheme, the children of industrial workers/employees, studying in classes 1st to 4th in recognized/approved schools are provided financial assistance for the purchase of textbooks/notebooks. The scheme aims to provide financial support for the educational needs of the children.

The Government of Puducherry introduced the Grant Of Financial Assistance For The Funeral Expenses Of Old Age/Destitute Pensioner Scheme to extend a helping hand by way of monthly financial assistance to Old Age/Destitute Pensioners.

Benefit: ₹ Rs.500/- pm in addition to the old age pension amount.

The scheme “Grant of Financial Assistance to Differently Abled Person” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry was introduced to provide monthly financial assistance to Persons with Disability to maintain their minimum standard of living.

Benefit: Disability Range - 40% to 65%: ₹ 2000/- per month. Disability Range - 66% to 85%: ₹ 2500/- per month. Disability Range - 86% to 100%: ₹ 3500/- per month. Age Range - 60 to 79 years: ₹ 2700/- per month. Age Range - 80 years and above: ₹ 3800/- per month.

The scheme “Grant of Financial Assistance to Poor Scheduled Caste Pregnant & Lactating Women” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry. The objective of the scheme is to provide assistance for the well-being of Pregnant and Lactating mothers and their children.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹12,000/- as follows: The pre-natal assistance shall be ₹ 2,000 in cash per month for three months prior to the month of delivery. The post-natal assistance shall be ₹ 2,000 in cash per month for three months following delivery. The grant of financial assistance is made available only for 2 deliveries.

This scheme was introduced to promote small family norms, uplift the welfare of girl children, and ease the financial burden on parents during their daughter's marriage. The scheme provides ₹25,000/- financial assistance for single girl children studying in 8th to 10th standard.

Benefit: ₹ 25,000/- will be deposited in a fixed deposit in the Post Office in the form of a National Savings Certificate in the name of the Girl Child. The maturity amount will be released when the girl child attains the age of eighteen years.

The scheme "Grant of Financial Assistance to the Press Reporters of Puducherry" by the Department of Information & Publicity, Union Territory of Puducherry, aims to provide financial support amounting to ₹25,000/- to eligible press reporters who have served in registered Newspapers/Magazines.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: ₹25,000/-.- Mode of Disbursal: The Director, Department of Information & Publicity, Puducherry will transmit the cheque to the applicant after obtaining the necessary receipt thereof from the applicant in the [prescribed format](https://py.gov.in/sites/default/files/citizens-charterinfopublicity.pdf).- Time Limit: Three weeks from the date of application.

"Grant of Financial Assistance to the School-going Children of Industrial Workers/Employees Studying in 1st to 4th Standard for Supply of One Set of Uniform" by the Dept of Labour & Employment, Goa, aims to provide financial assistance for the purchase of uniforms to school-going children.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹1,600/- per student per annum, intended for the purchase of one set of uniforms (shorts/trousers and shirts for male children, and frock for female children).

The scheme aims to promote tourism infrastructure by providing financial incentives to hotels, resorts, heritage hotels, and other tourism projects. The scheme offers capital grants and subsidies to eligible applicants who have invested in and developed tourism-related projects.

Benefit: Capital Grant for Star-Classified Hotels ₹2,00,000/- per room, subject to a maximum of ₹30,00,000/- for one-star hotels. ₹3,00,000/- per room, subject to a maximum of ₹75,00,000/- for two-star hotels. ₹3,00,000/- per room, subject to a maximum of ₹1,00,00,000/- for three-star hotels. Capital Grant for Heritage Hotels ₹3,00,000/- per room, subject to a maximum of ₹75,00,000/-. The building must be listed in the current list of heritage buildings in Puducherry and conform to architectural and conservation guidelines. Capital Subsidy for Higher-Category Projects 25% of the capital investment, subject to a maximum of ₹1,00,00,000/- for hotels/resorts with more than three-star classification and other tourism projects like water theme parks, amusement parks, yacht marinas, family entertainment centers, convention centers, and cruise tourism. Service Apartments ₹1,00,000/- per apartment, subject to a maximum of ₹6,00,000/- for 'Silver' category. ₹2,00,000/- per apartment, subject to a maximum of ₹12,00,000/- for 'Gold' or higher category. Mode of Disbursement The incentive is directly released to the authorized/approved financial institutions if a loan was taken for the project. If no loan was taken, the amount is released directly to the applicant. Expected Time of Disbursement Priority for disbursement is based on the date of star classification/heritage classification or the date of commercial operation for other tourism projects.

The scheme “Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry was introduced to provide a subsidy of upto 50 % of the cost of fuel to persons with disability who own motorised vehicles.

Benefit: 50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 15 litres for vehicles of less than 2 Horsepower. 50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 25 litres for vehicles of equal to or more than 2 Horsepower.

The scheme “Grant of House Construction Subsidy to Scheduled Caste People” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry. The poor Scheduled Caste people, and other Economically backward class people, who meet the eligibility criteria, are provided house construction subsidy.

Benefit: The subsidy amount of ₹4,00,000/- is granted in 3 Instalments as follows: 1st Installment of ₹1,50,000/- on possession of vacant house site. 2nd Installment of ₹1,50,000/-. 3rd Installment of ₹1,00,000/-. The building materials worth ₹1,00,000/- will also be provided. The number of beneficiaries to be covered every year will be completed according to the physical target earmarked in the action Plan.

Through this scheme, an incentive of ₹2,00,000/- is provided, comprising ₹40,000 in cash and ₹1,60,000/- in the form of a National Savings Certificate (NSC), for the marriage between differently-abled individuals. The selection is periodical and depends on the availability of funds.

Benefit: An Incentive of ₹ 2,00,000/- (₹ 40,000 in cash and ₹ 1,60,000/- in the form of NSC).

“Grant Of Incentive For Marriage Between Differently Abled Person And Normal Persons” by the Dept of Social Welfare, Govt of Puducherry supports marriages between differently-abled individuals and those without disabilities. An incentive of ₹1,00,000/- is provided (₹20,000 as cash, and ₹80 as NSC).

Benefit: An incentive of ₹1,00,000/- (₹20,000 in cash and ₹80,000/- in NSC).

This scheme aims to create awareness among parents about the desirability of the girl child and elevate the status of the girl child in the family. The scheme provides an amount of ₹30,000/- deposited in the name of the girl child, and in the case of two girl children, ₹15,000/- is deposited.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹30,000/- for one girl child, and ₹15,000/- for each of two girl children. The incentive amount is deposited in the name of the girl child/children and matures when the child reaches 18 years of age.

“Grant of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Award for Clean Houses” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry. The objective of the scheme is to motivate the Scheduled Caste people to keep their houses neat and tidy. Incentives are in the form of household articles worth ₹500/-.

Benefit: Incentives worth ₹500/- in the form of household articles.

This scheme aims to provide financial support to widows for the marriage of their daughters. Eligible widows can receive ₹25,000/- to cover marriage expenses. The scheme is implemented through the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Puducherry.
