Grant In Aid To Old Age Home

"Grant of 50% Subsidy for the Purchase of Aquarium and Its Accessories" is introduced with the objective to propagate the importance of aquarium keeping and to inculcate the art of aquarium keeping among the general public. The scheme is extended to all the regions of Puducherry.

Service Apartments ₹1,00,000/- per apartment, subject to a maximum of ₹6,00,000/- for 'Silver' category. ₹2,00,000/- per apartment, subject to a maximum of ₹12,00,000/- for 'Gold' or higher category. Mode of Disbursement The incentive is directly released to the authorized/approved financial institutions if a loan was taken for the project. If no loan was taken, the amount is released directly to the applicant. Expected Time of Disbursement Priority for disbursement is based on the date of star classification/heritage classification or the date of commercial operation for other tourism projects.

The scheme “Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry was introduced to provide a subsidy of upto 50 % of the cost of fuel to persons with disability who own motorised vehicles.

Benefit: 50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 15 litres for vehicles of less than 2 Horsepower. 50 % of the cost of fuel subject to a maximum of 25 litres for vehicles of equal to or more than 2 Horsepower.

The scheme “Grant of House Construction Subsidy to Scheduled Caste People” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry. The poor Scheduled Caste people, and other Economically backward class people, who meet the eligibility criteria, are provided house construction subsidy.

Benefit: The subsidy amount of ₹4,00,000/- is granted in 3 Instalments as follows: 1st Installment of ₹1,50,000/- on possession of vacant house site. 2nd Installment of ₹1,50,000/-. 3rd Installment of ₹1,00,000/-.
