The 'Government Institute for the Mentally Retarded,Chennai' scheme was launched by the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Government of Tamil Nadu. Under this scheme, children with intellectual disability are given special education, vocational training, food, uniforms etc.

Benefit: The children are also imparted training in daily living skills and below benefits are provided to children with intellectual disability : Special education, Vocational training, Food, Uniforms, Boarding, Medicine, Lodging facilities.

The objective of the scheme is to arrange for education and rehabilitation of children with disabilities by providing them free hostel, education-training, food, clothing and residential facilities.

Benefit: Under the scheme, beneficiaries will receive education, pre-professional training, and free hostel facilities in the concerned government institutions.

The scheme supports NDA cadets from humble financial backgrounds undergoing training at NDA. The scheme aims to attract cadets from economically disadvantaged sections of society opting to serve the country by taking up such challenging jobs/training.

Benefit: Scholarship of ₹ 1,000/- per month during the period of training (subject to a maximum of 24 months or duration of the course whichever is less).1. One Time Outfit Allowance of ₹ 12,000/-.

The scheme aims to encourage educated youth among the citizens of India and bonafide residents of Mizoram who aspire to succeed entry to Central and All India Services, addressing the issue of Mizo educated youths lagging behind and becoming increasingly marginalized in examinations.

Benefit: Incentive Cash Award: ₹1,00,000/- (one-time payment) for clearance of any eligible examination. Coaching Fee Reimbursement: Actual fees paid to coaching institution or ₹20,000/-, whichever is less (only once, not granted on second attempt). Hostel/Mess Fee Reimbursement: ₹2,000/- per month for maximum 6 months (only once, not granted on second attempt). Payment made through E-Payment by Secretary, Mizoram Scholarship Board. Only one examination can be claimed at a time. _Claims must be submitted within 3 months from date of result declaration._

The scheme "Government Service Home" was launched by the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. The scheme aims to provide institutional care to widows, destitute women, deserted women, adolescent girls and differently-abled women and their children.

Benefit: The beneficiary is provided accommodation, Food, Education, Vocational training, Free supply of textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, chappals, and sanitary napkins.

The scheme “Government Special School for the Visually Handicapped and the Hearing Impaired” by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry, was introduced to facilitate the education and self-confidence development of visually impaired and hearing-impaired children.

Benefit: Free boarding and lodging facilities for the children admitted. Free academic education within the campus, along with training in vocal/instrumental music by specially appointed teachers. Free supply of two sets of uniform dress per year for all school inmates. Free distribution of text books, note books, and other educational necessities. Free supply of daily living needs. Free supply of Brailee books for visually impaired children. Free annual tour arranged for all admitted children. Free supply of hearing aids. Separate accommodation facilities available for boys and girls in these schools.

The scheme "Government Working Women’s Hostel" is an initiative by the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. The scheme aims to provide safe accommodation facilities to working women who live far away from their families, belonging to lower and middle-income groups.

Benefit: Affordable Monthly Rent: ₹300/- per month in Chennai and ₹200/- per month in other Districts. Safe accommodation, food, and electricity charges on a dividing basis. The women can stay for 3 years in the hostel.

The scheme aims to provide infrastructure facilities at village level to artisans through Common Facility Centers. Registered Non-Governmental Organizations, cooperative societies and trusts receive financial assistance up to ₹13,00,000/- for building infrastructure, training, equipment, etc.

Benefit: Building Infrastructure: ₹10,00,000/- for Common Facility Center construction including office, godown, work-shed, and electric connection. Assistance in Training and Design: ₹70,000/- for capacity building and design development. Administrative Assistance: ₹40,000/- for administrative support. Toolkit Assistance: ₹1,20,000/- for providing necessary tools and equipment. Revolving Fund: ₹50,000/- for working capital support. Marketing Assistance: ₹20,000/- for market promotion activities.

“Grant for Incubation Centers within Educational Institutes Scheme” is for the educational institutes in Goa, affiliated with a recognized public university. They can avail of a one-time grant towards capital expenses for setting up an incubator within their institute campuses.

Benefit: All educational institutes in Goa, affiliated with a recognized public university, can avail of a one-time grant of up to ₹ 10,00,000 towards capital expenses, for setting up of an incubator within their institute campuses. The educational institutes with existing incubation facilities can also avail of the grant for capital expenses for further expansion of incubation facilities. The maximum number of institutes to avail of this benefit cannot exceed 15 per year. The educational institutes with existing incubation facilities will also be provided with a grant of up to ₹ 3,00,000 per year, for a period of three years, towards operational expenses. Relaxation / Preference / Priority The preference will be given to well-performing applicants. NOTE 1: The institutes claiming the benefits under this scheme cannot restrict the incubation facilities only to the students of their institute. NOTE 2: Under no circumstance shall the benefits under this scheme be considered an entitlement. The SPC shall reserve the sole right to accept or reject applications. NOTE 3: For the purpose of determining eligible expenses towards capital expenses, Accounting Standard 102 for Fixed Assets by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India would be used.

The scheme aims to provide a grant of ₹50,000/- per daughter to Scheduled Caste families, for a maximum of two daughters, whose total monthly family income from all sources does not exceed ₹4,000/- or who belong to a BPL family, to help cover marriage expenses.

Benefit: Grant Amount: ₹50,000/- per daughter, for the marriage of up to two daughters.

The scheme aims to provide annual financial assistance to Hindu Religious Institutions situated in the Union Territory of Puducherry that have poor resources. It benefits the temple authorities by covering expenses associated with the performance of Oru Kala Pooja, Current Consumption Charges, etc.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹20,000/- per annum per temple for meeting expenses towards the performance of Oru Kala Pooja. Financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per annum per temple for meeting expenses towards Current Consumption Charges. Financial assistance of ₹500/- per annum per temple for meeting expenses towards Water Consumption Charges. Disbursement Financial assistance shall be sanctioned within three months time. Sanction is dependent upon the availability of funds. Assistance for Current Consumption Charges and Water Consumption Charges is granted on the production of bills paid by the temple authority. Conditions for Availment/Continuation of Benefits _The grant of financial assistance sanctioned must be utilized strictly for the purpose for which it is sanctioned._ _The temple authority must produce the Original Vouchers for having utilized the amount towards the performance of Oru Kala Pooja._ _The temple authority must provide an Utilization Certificate for having fully utilized the amount for the purpose sought._ _Any portion of the amount which remains unspent or unutilized shall be duly surrendered to the Commissioner, Hindu Religious Institutions, Puducherry._ _The Government reserves the power to call for the accounts of the temple for the amount sanctioned._ _The accounts relating to the financial assistance sanctioned are subject to audit by the Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Puducherry or any other competent authority._

Under this scheme, a grant of up to ₹3,500/- is provided for the purchase of individual aids, which may be increased to a maximum of ₹7,000/- in special cases. Additionally, ₹500/- is provided for the repair of prosthetic limbs and other assistive equipment.

Benefit: Grant Amount: ₹50/- to ₹3,500/- for the purchase of assistive devices (maximum ₹7,000/- in special cases). ₹500/- for repair of artificial limbs and assistive equipment.

The scheme is implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to ₹3,500/- is provided to registered construction workers who have been members of the Board for at least one year, for purchasing a bicycle.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to ₹3,500/- is provided to registered construction workers for purchasing a bicycle.

The scheme is implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Under this scheme, registered construction workers who have completed skill upgradation training are provided financial assistance of upto ₹15,000/- for purchasing trade-related tools.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance of upto ₹15,000/- is provided to registered construction workers for purchasing trade-related tools upon completing skill upgradation training.

The scheme “Grant for Purchase of Tools (HBOCWWB)” was launched by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB), Labour Department Haryana.

Benefit: A grant of ₹8000/- is given to the registered construction workers to buy new and suitable tool kits. The grant facility is available once in three years.

The scheme aims to promote breed improvement and increase milk production by encouraging the use of sex-sorted semen for artificial insemination in cows and buffaloes.

Benefit: Under this scheme, a grant of ₹400 per dose is provided to cattle farmers for breed improvement through artificial insemination of cows and buffaloes using sex-sorted semen.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance of ₹50,000/- per daughter for the marriage of up to two daughters of destitute widows who are receiving widow pension and whose total monthly income from all sources does not exceed ₹4,000/-, or who belong to BPL families.

Benefit: Grant Amount: ₹50,000/- per daughter, for the marriage of up to two daughters.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for purchasing work-related tools. Through this scheme, a grant is provided to eligible members of the Fund.

Benefit: An amount of ₹5,000/- as a grant to the members of the Fund, for the purchase of work-related tools once in 5 years. Validity: The benefit can be applied for after three years from the date of registration.

The scheme “Grant for the Purchase of Working Tools” by the BOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Odisha, is a welfare scheme that provides one-time reimbursement to each registered beneficiary of the Board for purchasing tools.

Benefit: Quantum of Assistance: ₹4,000/-.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹20,000/- is provided to registered workers who have been members of the Board for at least three years for repair of house. However, workers who have already received assistance for house construction, bicycles, or tools are not eligible for this benefit.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹20,000/- is provided to registered construction workers for house repairs.
