The Government of Uttar Pradesh initiated a scheme "Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahaayata Yojana" to encourage the children towards the education.

Objective of the Scheme to recognise and reward meritorious SC/ST/OBC/Minority students pursuing graduation in recognised institutions.

Benefit: A cash award of ₹25,000 will be provided to students who secure the top position among SC/ST/OBC/Minority students in each discipline of a professional or technical degree course.

The scheme aims to socially and economically empower Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe women by supporting them in income-generating activities through electric autos. It provides a subsidy up to 75% of the cost (maximum ₹3,00,000/-) for electric autos to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe women.

Benefit: A subsidy of 75% of the total cost of the electric auto (e-Auto) or ₹3,00,000/- whichever is less will be paid. This subsidy is paid after utilizing Central Government incentives under the Pradhan Mantri E-DRIVE Scheme (FAME-3), which provides a maximum subsidy of ₹50,000/-. The total cost of the electric auto will be calculated excluding extra accessories. Disbursement In case the beneficiary has already purchased the vehicle: The applicant must submit the original invoice along with the application to the Department, and the subsidy amount will then be credited to the beneficiary’s account.- In case the beneficiary has not purchased the vehicle: The applicant must pay 25% of the total cost of the vehicle as an initial payment to the dealer. The applicant has to submit the invoice for payment along with the application, and the subsidy amount will then be credited to the dealer's account. Post-Selection Obligations The beneficiary should not cause or permit a male driver to drive the vehicle. The beneficiary must retain all relevant documents for 5 years from the date of subsidy disbursement. The applicant has no power to sale/lease or any other transfer of ownership of the vehicle for a period of 5 years. If the information furnished by the beneficiary is false or if the electric auto is found to have been sold within the 5-year period, the total subsidy is liable to be returned to the Government or recovered with interest from the beneficiary.

The main purpose of this scheme is to provide grant for the repair of house to all families living under below poverty line, whose house needs repair. An amount of Rs. 80,000/- is provided for this purpose. Only on-line applications on https://saralharyana.gov.in/ are accepted under this scheme.

The participant must be well aware that they shall be stepped down anywhere during the tour in case of any discrepancy.

Leave for a maximum period of 30 days in a year in addition to public holidays may be taken by the Post-Doctoral Fellow with the approval of the Head of the Department. However, they are not entitled to any other vacations, such as summer, winter, and pooja vacations. 1. Candidates are eligible for maternity/ paternity to leave at full rates of the fellowship as per Government of India rules once during the tenure of the award. 1. The fellow, in special cases, may be allowed by the Commission, academic leave without fellowship and contingency for a period not exceeding one year during the tenure of the award on the recommendation of the Head of the department of the institution concerned to undertake academic/ teaching assignment or foreign travel in connection with academic work. The expenditure on travel cannot be claimed from UGC. The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure.
