The scheme aims to provide financial assistance in addition to the central government assistance to spinners and weavers. It provides production incentives to Khadi spinners and weavers with category-wise differential assistance rates.

Benefit: For Spinners General and Scheduled Caste Categories: Additional ₹1/- per hank for spinning of yarn. Women and Scheduled Tribe Categories: Additional ₹1.5/- per hank for spinning of yarn. For Weavers General and Scheduled Caste Categories: Additional ₹3/- per square meter for weaving of Khadi. Scheduled Tribe Category: Additional ₹4/- per square meter for weaving of Khadi. Weaving Equipment Aid: ₹1/- per square meter weaving equipment aid. Mode and Frequency of Disbursement Production incentive based on actual spinning and weaving output. Payment structure linked to per hank for spinning and per square meter for weaving. Conditions for Availment/Continuation Beneficiaries must be actively engaged in Khadi spinning and weaving activities. Incentives are provided in addition to central government assistance. Must maintain production records for verification purposes.

The scheme aims to honor state agitators who became permanently disabled and bedridden during the Uttarakhand Statehood Movement by providing them with monthly financial assistance of ₹20,000/-.

Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Vishesh Shiksha Sahaayata Yojana" for Building and other construction worker on 10 July 2018.

Benefit: For registered workers who pass away after one year of registration, the Board will issue special registration cards. These children will be eligible for the benefits of the Naunihal Scholarship Scheme, Meritorious Students Education Incentive Scheme, and Technical Education Scheme. Benefits will be granted to the first two eligible children of the deceased worker.

Under this scheme, scholarships and tuition fee reimbursement are provided to specially-abled students belonging to families with an annual income not exceeding ₹2.00 lakh, who are regularly studying in government and recognized educational institutions.

Benefit: Scholarship Grant: Financial assistance is provided as a scholarship to the students. Tuition Fee Reimbursement: The scheme covers the tuition fee expenses for students studying in government-recognized institutions.

Under this scheme, children receive monthly financial support based on their age to ensure their well-being and education. To be eligible for assistance, the child must attend an Anganwadi/school between the ages of two to five years and study in school after the age of 6 years.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹500/- per month for children aged 0-6 years. Financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per month for children aged 6-18 years.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to specially-abled individuals to support a happy married life after marriage. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹50,000/- per couple is provided.

The “Vishist Coaching Scheme” is implemented by Gujarat Building & Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board, Labour, Govt. of Gujarat. Under this scheme, both the registration fee & coaching/tuition fees will be reimbursed/paid for the career development of the children of construction workers.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the registration fee and coaching/tuition fees for the children of registered construction workers will be reimbursed/paid.

Chhattisgarh state Government started a scheme "Vishvakarma Durghatana Mrtyu Par Antyeshti Evan Anugrah Raashi Bhugataan Yojana" for labor workers.

Benefit: Financial Assistance under following circumstances In the case of normal death ₹ 25,000/- and Funeral assistance of ₹ 5,000/- In the case of accidental death: ₹ 1,00,00/- and Funeral assistance of ₹ 5,000/- In case of permanent disability: ₹ 75,000/-

The scheme “Visit of Contract Farming Farmers to the Research Stations in Karnataka” facilitates visits for contract farming farmers to research stations across Karnataka to gain agricultural knowledge. Financial support is provided for a 3-day visit.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: ₹1,12,500/- per batch of 50 farmers for 3 days.- Learning Program: Exposure to the latest agricultural research and innovations.

The scheme aims to make our younger generation aware of the contribution and sacrifices of Tiatr artistes of yesteryears. TAG has formulated this scheme so that occasional visits to these veteran artistes will make them feel that TAG cares for them during their old age.

Benefit: Members of tiatr fraternity will visit these sick/old artistes at their residences or if admitted, visit the hospital and inquire about their health. TAG will provide the vehicle or travelling allowance to travel and refreshments/working meal to the members who volunteer to visit the old/sick artistes. During the first visit of this nature, one-time financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- (or as fixed by TAG) by cheque will be gifted to the artiste which he/she can use for his/her medical expenses.

VAJRA Faculty Scheme is a dedicated program exclusively for overseas scientists and academicians with emphasis on NRI and Persons of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India to work as adjunct/visiting faculty for a specific period of time in Indian Public funded academic and research institutions.

Benefit: The residency period of VAJRA Faculty in India would be for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months. 1. VAJRA Faculty will be provided US$ 15000 in the first month of engagement and US$ 10000 p.m. in the subsequent two months. While no separate support is provided for travel, accommodation, medical/personal insurance, etc. the host institute may consider providing additional support. 1. Return visit of Indian faculty to the Institute of VAJRA Faculty: One research visit by the Indian host to the Institute of the VAJRA Faculty for a period not less than a week and not exceeding 30 days will be supported. The board will provide return economy airfare, not exceeding ₹1.5 lakhs per diem, and accommodation as per the norms of the Board. 1. Student mobility (Doctoral & Postdoctoral Level: Across labs): Collaborative research visit of not more than 2 students, doctoral, preferably co-advised / post-doctoral level after 2 years of engagement from the research group of Indian host to the Institute of the VAJRA Faculty for a duration of three to six months will be supported. The board will provide a return economy airfare, a one-time contingency grant of ₹60,000/- and fellowship equivalent to the norms of the Board. 1. Research Contingency Grant to the hosting Indian Collaborator: ₹5.0 lakhs per year of research visit per VAJRA Faculty to the Indian host to meet expenses related to the collaborative research will also be provided. 1. Support to engage VAJRA Faculty to give lectures in his/her area of expertise in the host Institute: Support to VAJRA Faculty to the tune of ₹1.0 lakh per year for this activity will be provided.

The Awards are given to recognize excellence in research and innovation of faculty members/researchers of the Central Universities

Benefit: Citation and cash reward will be presented to the awardee. The total value of the cash reward will be ₹2,50,000/- If there are two or more recipients, the cash reward is subject to the condition that, each awardee will receive a minimum of ₹1,00,000/-

The scheme aims at generating a total of 1000 Full-time PhD Candidates in emerging research areas of Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/IT Enabled Services (ITES) sectors over a period of 5 years.

Reimbursement of Rent (RoR): This component is linked with the fellowship of a PhD Candidate. The rate of RoR is 24%, 16% & 8% (of fellowship) for X, Y & Z class cities/towns respectively. 1. Institutional Overheads: An amount of ₹25,000/Year/Full-time PhD candidate for support duration of PhD candidate to be given to the institution. The institutional overhead will be released after completion of required tenure by the respective candidate on pro-rata basis. 1. Research Contingency Grant Support: An amount of ₹1,20,000/Year/Full-time PhD candidate for support duration of the PhD candidate. 1. Support to attend selected International Conferences up to ₹1.5 Lakh per Full Time PhD candidate from 3rd year. 1. One time support for selected 250 Full Time PhD candidates from 3rd year for 6 months “Visit to Labs Abroad”. The support would be available to the selected Full Time PhD candidates with following guidelines: - During the visit, the Monthly Fellowship will be ₹1.50 Lakh. - The Travel/Visa expenses up to ₹1.50 Lakh is provided. - During this period, the domestic Fellowship and Reimbursement of Rent (RoR) will be suspended.

The scheme aims at generating a total of 150 Part-time PhDs in emerging research areas of Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/IT Enabled Services (IT/ITES) sectors over a period of 5 years.

Benefit: Part-time PhD candidates will receive a one-time incentive of ₹3,00,000/- upon successful completion of their PhD degree and reporting of the same to PhD Cell through their institution with PhD completion documents.

This fellowship is meant for those who have a proven track record as evident from their research publications & recognitions. Support is provided for 225 Post-Doctoral Fellowships for candidates for a period of 1 year, to encourage specialized research in emerging area.

Benefit: Nature of Support: - Research Fellowship: ₹1.08 Lakh/Month - Contingency Grant: ₹1 Lakh for 1 year (on re-imbursement and pro-rata basis depending on the period spent under the award). The claim would be submitted by the awardee through respective institution to PhD Cell in prescribed format. - The fellowship is tenable only in India and can be implemented in any of the recognized & eligible academic and R&D institutions. - Contingency Grant can be used for minor equipment, consumables and similar items relevant to the research work. The host institution should provide necessary administrative and infrastructural support for the PDF fellow. - There is no provision for providing research personnel support under the scheme. The fellow is expected to undertake the research objectives by himself/herself during the entire duration of the fellowship. - PDF is a full-time assignment. The fellows are not eligible to receive any other fellowship from any Government or Non-Government source during the tenure of the fellowship. - Post-doctoral positions are non-transferrable. The research work is to be carried out in the same eligible institution at which PDF seat is allocated and the fellow is enrolled. Duration of Support: The fellowship is purely a temporary assignment, and is tenable for a period of 1 year.

This fellowship is meant for Young Faculty having regular position at their institution and proven track record in research. Support is provisioned for 50 candidates, for an initial period of support of 2 years, extendible till 5 years based on performance review.

Benefit: Nature of Support: - Research Fellowship: ₹20,000/- per month, in addition to the regular salary - Research Contingency Grant: ₹5,00,000/- per year for a maximum of 5 years - The fellowship is tenable only in India and can be implemented in any of the recognized & eligible academic and R&D institution. - Research Contingency Grant can be used for minor equipment, consumables and domestic travel. The host institution should provide necessary administrative and infrastructural support for YFRF. - The fellows are not eligible to receive any other fellowship from any Government or Non-Government source during the tenure of the fellowship. - YFRFs are non-transferrable. The research work is to be carried out in the same eligible institution though which YFRF proposal was submitted. Duration of Support: - The fellowship is purely a temporary assignment, and is tenable for a maximum period of 05 years. - The award will initially be for 2 years and further extendible, based on performance review.

The Scheme “Viswakarma Pension” was launched by the Backward Classes Development Department, Government of Kerala to give the pension to traditional workers of Viswakarma Communities.

Benefit: The monthly pension amount of ₹1100/- will be given to the persons belonging to the traditional Viswakarma Communities.

"Vivah Sahayata Yojana" is a scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development Govt of Jharkhand. The scheme provides financial assistance of ₹ 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) rupees for the marriage of two children / female members of the family.

Under the labor department of Madhya Pradesh State, this scheme "Vivah Sahayata Yojana" was started in 2018.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the beneficiary will receive a total assistance of ₹55,000. This amount is divided into: 1. ₹11,000/- as cash. 1. ₹38,000/- worth of household goods. 1. ₹6,000/- provided to the organizer of the mass marriage program (if applicable).

Under this scheme, ₹15,000 is provided per case for the marriage of a daughter (above 18 years of age) of workers/employees working in institutions covered under the Madhya Pradesh Labor Welfare Fund Act, 1982, or to a female worker herself.
