The scheme aims to promote sustainable fisheries development in Uttarakhand by facilitating the establishment and expansion of cooperative-based fisheries projects in both mountainous and plain regions.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the following support is provided: - Options for setting up large loan-based projects in both mountainous and plain areas are available for individuals or groups engaged in fisheries through cooperative societies. - Facilities are provided for trout farming, angling, and retail outlets on a cluster basis in mountainous districts, and for Pangasius farming, major carp farming, and integrated fisheries in plain districts. - Under the project, the cooperative societies will bear 10% of the contribution, while 70% is provided as a loan and 20% as a grant. - The project assists the societies in preparing their Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) or Business Development Plans (BDPs) and organizes free training and capacity-building programs periodically. - Support is provided for marketing and sale of fish produced by the societies.

Under this scheme, a cash prize of ₹8,000/-, along with a medal and a certificate of appreciation, is awarded to outstanding individuals in categories such as disabled employees, outstanding sportspersons, and best self-employed service providers.

Benefit: Award Details: An amount of ₹8000/- is given as a cash prize. Medal and Certificate of Appreciation. Mode of Disbursement: The amount disbursed through the cheque or bank draft at the award ceremony. Expected Time of Disbursement: Awarded annually on December 3 (World Disability Day).

The scheme aims to recognize players and coaches from Uttarakhand who have achieved remarkable success at the national and international levels in sports by awarding them the Khel Ratna, Himalaya Ratna, and Dronacharya Awards.

Benefit: Under this scheme, in recognition of the remarkable success achieved by players and coaches of the state at the national and international levels, the following awards are conferred: Khel Ratna (1 player – ₹5.00 lakh), Himalaya Ratna (6 players – ₹1.00 lakh per player), and Dronacharya Award (2 coaches – ₹3.00 lakh per coach).

The 'State Marriage Assistance Scheme' offers one-time financial aid to female beneficiaries from families holding AAY or PHH ration cards, with the amount directly credited to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. Additionally, divyangjan beneficiaries also receive financial assistance.

Benefit: One-time financial assistance of ₹50,000/- shall be given to female beneficiaries. Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- has been given to Divyangjan beneficiaries.

A social welfare scheme by the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, for Poor Girls of Marriageable Age who belong to either AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) or PHH (Priority Households) ration card holder families. The scheme is operational in all the districts across the UT.

Benefit: The eligible beneficiary girl shall receive an amount of ₹50,000/- (rupees fifty thousand only) as one-time financial assistance before her marriage. The “State Medical Scholarship” is a scholarship scheme, launched by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland. Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to students who are pursuing MBBS & Allied Courses, Nursing and Paramedical courses.

Benefit: Under the scheme, financial assistance/scholarships will be provided to students according to the course/programme in which they are enrolled.

The Directorate of University & Higher Education, Manipur is interested in awarding State Merit Scholarships to meritorious students of Manipur through online application submissions to promote higher education for economically weaker students in the state.

Benefit: For Class X passed students: The scholarship provides Rs. 6,000 per annum to the first 300 students who passed the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) conducted by BSEM for a period of two years. For Class XII passed students: The scholarship provides Rs. 12,000 per annum to the first 125 students of Science, 125 students of Social Sciences, and 50 students of Commerce who passed the class XII examination conducted by COHSEM for a period of three years. The scholarship is available to students who continue their studies within or outside the state but within the country, starting from the academic session of 2015-16. The scholarship aims to provide equal opportunities for higher education to deserving students, regardless of their economic background. In addition to the initial list of recipients, 50 students will be kept on the waiting list for possible refusal, ineligibility, or other students getting other scholarships. The scholarship encourages students to excel academically and pursue further studies, thereby promoting higher education in Manipur.

"Merit Scholarship to Undergraduate Girl Students" aims to promote higher education among meritorious girl students by providing a scholarship amount of ₹3,000 per annum to 10 eligible girl students per government college who have excelled in their 10+2 examination.

Benefit: Scholarship Amount ₹3,000/- per student per annum. Awarded to 10 girl students per government college. Conditions for Scholarship Renewal The scholarship is tenable for three years during undergraduate studies. To continue receiving the scholarship, the applicant must secure at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination each year. If an applicant cannot appear for the annual exam due to illness, renewal may be granted upon submission of a valid medical certificate approved by the Head of the Institution. The mission aims to promote millet cultivation, ensure fair prices for farmers, and strengthen food security in the state. It seeks to support farmers, particularly in mountain districts, by procuring millet crops such as Mandua and Jhangora at the minimum support price through cooperative groups.

Benefit: Under the mission, in the first phase, 16,820 metric tonnes of Mandua and Jhangora are being purchased from farmers’ fields at the minimum support price through cooperative groups by the Cooperative Department. - Under the National Food Security Act, the Government of India will distribute 1 kilogram per month through the Public Distribution System (ration card) via the Food and Supplies Department in four districts: Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, Nainital, and Dehradun. Farmers’ groups, LCs/LCFs, or PACS at established procurement centers are free to offer Mandua for sale. To encourage participation, an incentive of ₹150/- per quintal is provided. - Once the PACS accepts the millet crops from the groups, payment will be made through RTGS/NEFT within a maximum of 72 hours.

The scheme “State Programme for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities” is a state sector ongoing scheme implemented for the welfare and providing rehabilitation services to disabled persons of the state under the Person with Disabilities Act 1995.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the state government will provide aids & appliances such as tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, walking sticks, Blind sticks, Rollator, and Hearing Aids to persons with disabilities. The state government will organize a Diagnostic Camp-cum-Free Distribution of Aids & appliances at the district level from time to time.
