The scheme “Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)” was launched by the DPIIT on 19th April 2021 with an outlay of INR 945 Crore to provide financial assistance to startups for Proof of Concept, prototype development, product trials, market-entry, and commercialization.

Benefit: Seed Funds to an eligible startup by the incubator shall be disbursed as follows: 1. Up to ₹20 Lakhs as a grant for validation of Proof of Concept, prototype development, or product trials. The grant shall be disbursed in milestone-based installments. These milestones can be related to the development of prototypes, product testing, building a product ready for market launch, etc. 1. Up to ₹50 Lakhs of investment for market entry, commercialization, or scaling up through convertible debentures or debt or debt-linked instruments. 1. Seed funds shall strictly not be used by startups for the creation of any facilities and shall be utilized for the purpose it has been granted for. Note 01: Not more than 20% of the total grant to an incubator shall be given as grants to start-ups by the incubator. The rate of interest (as defined under GFR) on unutilized funds available with the incubator would also be taken into account and adjusted at the time of the next release by DPIIT. Note 02: For startups being supported through convertible debentures or debt, or debt-linked instruments, funds shall be provided at a rate of interest of not more than the prevailing repo rate. The tenure should be fixed at the time of sanctioning the loan by the incubator, which shall be not more than 60 months (5 years). A moratorium of up to 12 months may be provided for the startups. Because of the early stage of the startups, this shall be unsecured and no guarantee from the promoter or third party will be required. Note 03: The incubator shall execute a legal agreement with the selected startups before the release of the first installment. The incubators shall ensure that the necessary terms and conditions, including milestones, related to the Seed Fund are detailed in the agreement. Note 04: Subsequent disbursement would be linked to the achievement of previously specified milestones as per agreement between the startup and incubator. Note 05: Startups will receive the funds in their company bank accounts. Note 06: For grants, the first installment to any selected startup shall be released not more than 60 days from receipt of the application from the startup. The startup shall submit the interim progress update and utilization certificate to initiate the release of subsequent installments of the grant. Note 07: Startup shall submit a final report and audited utilization certificate at the end of the project duration. For failed ventures, the entrepreneur will share his/her learnings and the reasons for failure in the report and submit this along with the utilization certificate for the fund amount. Note 08: The incubator or any of its staff members shall not charge any fee in cash or in kind from applicants or beneficiaries under the scheme for any process of selection, disbursement, incubation, or monitoring. Note 09: A grievance cell shall be set up at DPIIT for the scheme to address issues of applicants, such as delayed evaluation of applications, delayed disbursements by incubators, etc.

The state government of Manipur has introduced the 'Startup Manipur' initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable economic development and generating significant employment opportunities in the region.

Benefit: The state government aims to support and strengthen existing business incubators and accelerators to create a robust support system for startups. The government intends to encourage and inspire the youth of Manipur to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career choice. To strengthen the startup culture in the state, the government will foster greater social acceptance and recognition of promising startups. The government is looking to encourage the establishment of new business incubators in the state through partnerships with the private sector. The government will continuously provide enabling mechanisms to startups, including training and skill development, capacity building, networking opportunities, and access to support services and knowledge. The government will implement a supportive regulatory framework that enables hassle-free and time-bound statutory clearances for startups. The government will provide appropriate infrastructural support to enable startups to set up and grow rapidly. The government will create a platform to access multiple avenues of financial support for startups in Manipur, such as grants, bank loans, and fiscal incentives. Finally, the government aims to create an enabling environment and a supportive ecosystem to facilitate 1000 startups in the state within the next five years.

The scheme “State Agriculture Scholarship for B.Sc. & M.Sc. Agriculture” was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland to provide educational assistance to students who are undergoing undergraduate (B.Sc. Agriculture) and post-graduate programme (M.Sc. Agriculture).

The scheme “State Agriculture Thesis Grant for M.Sc. Agriculture” was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland to provide a Thesis Grant to all the inhabitants of Nagaland who passed the M.Sc. Agriculture programme.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the Thesis Grant will be given to students according to the course/programme in which they are enrolled.

The "State Art Exhibition (Student Category)" is an annual event organized by the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa, to promote and encourage creativity in the visual arts field among local students.

The scheme "State Art Exhibition Competition" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to promote fine arts and recognize artistic talents by providing awards and scholarships to artists, art students, and school children across Gujarat.

Benefit: Artists Category: 23 prizes totaling ₹1,74,500/-. - Art Institute Students Category: 16 prizes totaling ₹48,000/-. - School Children Category: 50 prizes totaling ₹25,000/-. - Scholarship: Winning students in the art institution category are eligible for a monthly scholarship of ₹1,000/-.

The scheme "State Awards to Teachers" aims to celebrate the unique contribution of the finest teachers in the state and honor those who have improved the quality of school education and enriched students' lives. Ten state awards consisting of ₹100,000 and a citation each are provided to teachers.

“State Award for the Welfare of the Handicapped” was launched by the Dept of Social Welfare, Govt of Puducherry. The individuals and institutions are conferred awards on 3rd December every year to encourage them to become economically productive to serve the cause of the Persons with Disability.

Benefit: Outstanding Differently Abled Government / Private Employee: ₹ 10,000/-. Outstanding Differently Abled Self-employed Persons: ₹ 10,000/-. Individual Serving for the Cause of the Differently Abled: ₹ 15,000/-. Institutions Serving the Cause of the Differently Abled: ₹ 25,000/- (Subject to Financial Selection by the State-level Committee). Government Employer: Citation With Shield. Private Employer: Citation With Shield. The awards are conferred on 3rd December every year (International Day for Differently Abled).

The scheme recognizes Anganwadi Workers under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Schemes for their exemplary performance in improving the quality and coverage of services provided to children and mothers. Each awardee receives a cash award of ₹5,000/- and a citation.

The Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Mizoram launched the State Disability Pension scheme. It provides a monthly pension of ₹350 to 200 eligible individuals who are completely blind or bedridden.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹350/- per month for disabled individuals.

The scheme “State Disability Scholarship” was launched by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland to provide financial assistance to students from Class I to Class VIII who have a disability of 40% and above.

Benefit: The physically disabled students from Class I to Class VIII are provided with scholarships ranging from ₹200/-. Note: The amount of scholarships may vary as per guidelines of the Government of Nagaland.

The scheme aims to aims to enhance the productivity and income of fish farmers by providing financial support in the form of subsidies on essential fishery inputs such as hand nets, hapa, nets, mini kits, etc.

Benefit: Fish farmers who are already engaged in fish farming are provided a 50% subsidy on the total cost of essential fishery inputs such as fish feed, medicines, etc. - A subsidy of 1 quintal of fish feed is provided for a 100 square meter pond, and 6 quintals of fish feed for ponds ranging from 500 to 2000 square meters. - A grant of 7 quintals of fish feed is provided for RAS/Biofloc systems. - A subsidy of 10 quintals of fish feed is provided for trout farming. - A 50% subsidy is provided on the total market rate cost of essential input materials for fisheries such as hand nets, hapas, nets, and minikits. - A 50% subsidy is admissible for one hand net/hapa/net and one minikit per fish farmer.

The scheme aims to provide rice at subsidized rates to yellow ration card holders in the state, under which 7.50 kg of rice is distributed to each card holder every month at the rate of ₹11.00 per kg.

Benefit: Under this scheme, each ration card holder receives 7.50 kg of rice per month at the rate of ₹11/- per kg.

The "State Goat Entrepreneurship Development Scheme", initiated by the Animal Husbandry Department of Chhattisgarh, aims to promote goat farming as a sustainable livelihood option. Goat rearing has been a traditional occupation, and with increasing demand for milk and meat.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Under the State Goat Entrepreneurship Development Scheme Total finance cost: ₹1,00,000/- per goat unit (30 goats + 2 improved breed goats).- For general category beneficiaries: 25% subsidy on the total cost, up to a maximum of ₹₹25,000/-- For SC/ST beneficiaries: 33.3% subsidy on the total cost, up to a maximum of ₹33,300/-.

The scheme is implemented by the School Education Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, aims to ensure the continuity of education for students from the Backward Classes. Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to Backward Classes students studying in Classes 6 to 10.

The scheme was launched by School Education Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, aims to improve educational status of SC students by providing scholarships. Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to SC girl students in Classes 1 to 5,and to both boys & girls in SC category in Classes 6 to 10.

Benefit: Under this scheme, scholarships for Scheduled Caste students are provided at the following rates: - Class 1 to 5: ₹250/- per year (for girls only) - Class 6 to 8: ₹200/- per year (for boys) and ₹600/- per year (for girls) - Class 9 to 10: ₹600/- per year (for boys) and ₹1,200/- per year (for girls) Note: The scholarship will be deposited directly into the student's bank account.

Benefit: Under this scheme, scholarships will be provided to the students belonging to Scheduled Tribes at the following rates: For Classes 1 to 5: - ₹250/- per year (for 10 months) to all girls and boys belonging to special backward tribes (Baiga, Saharia, and Bharia). For Classes 6 to 8: - ₹200/- per year (for 10 months) for boys. - ₹600/- per year (for 10 months) for girls. Note: The scholarship will be deposited directly into the student's bank account.
