“Assistance to General Farmers for Sinking Tubewell" was launched by the Dept of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, UT of Puducherry. Through this scheme, the farmers from the General Category are provided with a grant of 65% subsidy towards the construction of tubewell/filter point per individual.

Benefit: 65% subsidy towards construction of tubewell/filter point in the Union Territory of Puducherry subject to a maximum of ₹1,50,000 per tubewell/filter point per individual. The total cost incurred towards the construction of the tubewell shall be taken into account for the calculation of the subsidy.

The scheme aims to provide financial support to disaster-affected handloom artisans for the repair or repurchase of damaged tools, equipment, raw materials, and finished products.

The scheme “Assistance to Traditional Pottery Makers” provides financial assistance to Traditional Pottery makers belonging to the state OBC category for the purchase of modern machinery for job modernization.

Benefit: The financial assistance of ₹25,000/- will be provided to the Traditional Pottery Makers for upgrading the occupation and purchasing machinery.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for creation, strengthening, and expansion of training institutions under MSME for skill development and entrepreneurship training.
