The Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board launched a welfare scheme "Scheme for Relief for the Un-registered Workers" to provide the financial assistance to the dependents of unregistered workers who die in accidents at construction sites.

Benefit: Compensation for Deceased Workers: Financial Assistance of ₹50,000/- to the dependents of unregistered workers who die in accidents at construction sites or related projects. Relief for Permanent Disabilities: ₹20,000/- is provided for cases of permanent disability where the disability is 50% or above. ₹10,000/- is provided for cases of permanent partial disability where the disability is below 50%.

The scheme aims to provide access to high quality education to students from Scheduled Caste communities in best private residential schools. It provides scholarships and bridge courses to meritorious Scheduled Caste students selected through national entrance test.

Benefit: Scholarship Coverage School fee including tuition fee and hostel fee including mess charges as per following limits: Class 9th: ₹1,00,000/- per student per annum. Class 10th: ₹1,10,000/- per student per annum. Class 11th: ₹1,25,000/- per student per annum. Class 12th: ₹1,35,000/- per student per annum. Bridge Course Support Up to 10% of annual fee provided separately for bridge course extending up to 3 months. Mode of Disbursement Direct transfer to school accounts through e-Anudaan portal. The sub-scheme aims to provide quality education and opportunities to students from SC communities through grant-in-aid institutions run by Non-Governmental Organizations and residential high schools, addressing the gap in service deficient Scheduled Caste dominant areas in the education sector.

The scheme aims to provide strategic funding for collaborative research and development in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector. It provides a grant of up to ₹5,00,00,000/- to existing Government universities and organizations for research equipment, staff, and technology commercialization.

Benefit: The scheme provides financial support for a maximum of 50% of the total investment or costs of the project, subject to an upper limit of ₹5,00,00,000/-. The funding includes support for laboratory equipment, plant and machinery, research literature, and consumables. The funding covers support for research staff, including Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, and Research Associate till the project period. The grant covers expenses for organizing workshops, conferences, or seminars in the relevant area, and for the filing of patents. The duration of the financial support from the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is for a period of 5 years. The funds will be released to the beneficiary in three installments. Any funds generated from the disposal of capital equipment shall be flowed back to the Centre of Excellence. Disbursement A minimum of 50% of the sanctioned grant must be used exclusively for the procurement of equipment for the project. Not more than 10% of the total grant sanctioned can be spent for organizing workshops, seminars, and conferences by the Centre of Excellence. The second and third installments will be released only after receiving a satisfactory achievement-cum-performance report. The subsequent installments are subject to the acceptance of the Utilization Certificate and the approval of the Project Sanctioning Committee. Conditions The grantee institution must register at the Controller General of Accounts website. The grantee must continuously post progress reports and Utilization Certificates under the Expenditure Advance Transfer module. Any unspent balance from the sanctioned amount, including accrued interest, must be refunded to the Government of India via an Account’s Payee Demand Draft. The grantee must furnish an audited statement of accounts pertaining to the grant at the end of each financial year. Half-yearly progress reports detailing equipment purchased, patents filed, and scholar activities must be submitted to the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals. All acquired assets must be installed permanently in the premises of the Centre of Excellence and not in any other department. The Centre of Excellence must report their achievements yearly to enable documenting success stories and shortcomings.

The scheme aims to assist organizations (Public Limited Companies, Private Limited Companies, Partnerships, Sole Proprietary, and Municipalities) for setting up of industrial estates for exclusive allotment of sheds/plots to SSI units. The applications for this scheme are accepted online only.

Benefit: Need-based loan for setting up of industrial estates for exclusive allotment of sheds/plots to SSI units.

The scheme aims to increase the competitiveness and value addition in the plastic processing industry through cluster development. It provides grant-in-aid up to ₹40,00,00,000/- for common infrastructure benefits intended for Special Purpose Vehicles and local enterprises.

Benefit: The scheme provides a grant-in-aid of up to 50% of the overall project cost, subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹40,00,00,000/- per project. A minimum of 25% of the Grant-in-aid is explicitly earmarked for creating common enabling facilities dedicated to the plastic processing industry, such as characterization, prototyping, testing, training, and plastic recycling. The scheme provides financial assistance for administrative and management support of the Special Purpose Vehicle, including the Chief Executive Officer's salary, limited to 5% of the total Grant-in-aid. Assistance is provided for engaging engineers, architects, and experts for civil works execution, up to a maximum of 5% of the total Grant-in-aid. The scheme covers up to 75% of the costs for soft interventions (such as awareness generation, skill development, and exposure visits), not exceeding an amount of ₹50,00,000/- per project. Disbursal Schedule An initial 20% is disbursed as a mobilization advance upon final project approval, successful financial closure, and submission of a bank guarantee. The second installment of 35% is released after the utilization of at least 60% of the first installment. The third installment of 35% is released after the complete utilization of the first installment and 60% utilization of the second installment. The final installment of 10% is released after the Special Purpose Vehicle mobilizes its entire share and at least 25% of the park's units become operational. Conditions The Special Purpose Vehicle must complete the complete setting up of the Plastic Park within a strict timeline of three years from the date of final approval. The Special Purpose Vehicle must assume responsibility for the continuous operation and maintenance of all created assets by instituting and collecting user charges from members. The services offered by the Common Facility Centres must be extended to the broader cluster in general, in addition to strictly serving member enterprises. The assets acquired or created substantially out of the Government grant must not be disposed of without the explicit prior approval of the sanctioning authority. The central grant may be completely recalled with penal interest in the event of partial implementation, incomplete execution, or a compromise with the envisioned quality standards.

Under the scheme, financial assistance in the form of loans and subsidies is provided by banks to individuals belonging to the Scheduled Castes category. This assistance is aimed at enabling them to purchase business premises or shops in urban areas for business development.

Benefit: Under the scheme, a maximum loan of ₹10 lakhs will be available to the beneficiary belonging to the scheduled caste category to buy a business premises/shop in the urban area. The beneficiary will bear interest up to 4%, while any bank interest payable above 4% will be covered by the government as an interest subsidy for three years. 1. ₹15000/- is also given as subsidy assistance under the scheme.

The scheme aims to extend financial assistance for acquiring new transport vehicles, including goods and passenger vehicles. It provides term loans covering up to 70% of the vehicle cost, excluding road tax and insurance, repayable over a max. of 58 monthly instalments.

Benefit: Financial assistance is provided up to 70% of the cost of the vehicle. The calculation for the financial assistance excludes the cost of road tax and insurance. The assistance is intended to meet the expenditure towards the cost of the chassis and body building for new transport vehicles (Goods and Passenger vehicle). The maximum repayment period is 58 monthly instalments. The repayment period includes a moratorium period of a maximum of 3 months. A concessional rate of interest of 0.5% less than the normal rate is charged for units promoted by Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Differently abled persons. Financial Norms: [https://pipdic.in/financial_norms](https://pipdic.in/financial_norms) Conditions _The proposed vehicle must be hypothecated._ _Collateral security in the form of immovable property must be offered as per the lending policy of the Corporation._ _If the immovable property used for collateral security is situated in the Union Territory of Puducherry, its value must be not less than the amount of the term loan sanctioned._ _If the immovable property is situated outside the Union Territory of Puducherry, the value of the property offered shall be not less than 150% of the loan amount if it includes land with a building._ _If the property offered outside the Union Territory of Puducherry is only land, its value shall not be less than 200% of the loan amount._ _For units promoted by Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Differently abled persons, the required value of the immovable property offered as collateral security is reduced and fixed at 50% of the loan amount._ _The valuation of the properties to be offered as security must be assessed by engaging Chartered Engineers or valuers from the approved panel of the Corporation._

The objective of the scheme is to support the efforts of the management of the Non-Government aided institutions/non-grant-in-aid institutions for the upgradation and maintenance of infrastructural facilities for promoting a conducive atmosphere for learning.

Benefit: As Goa Education Development Corporation is a Grant in Aid Corporation, Soft loan beneficiaries are assisted by taking loans from Economic Development Corporation and further disbursing it as below: 50% of the Loan Amount Released immediately on the issue of sanction order by the Directorate of Higher Education. 40% of the Loan Amount Released on the production of a certificate from a Government Registered Engineer duly signed by a Chartered Accountant and College Principal/Head of Institution; to the effect that the first instalment of 50% has been fully utilized for the purpose for which it was granted. 10% of the Loan Amount Released subject to the following three conditions: a) Production of a certificate from a Government Registered Engineer duly signed by a Chartered Accountant and College Principal/Head of Institution; to the effect that 40% of the loan amount has been fully utilized for the purpose for which it was granted. b) The project is completed and a completion certificate for that effect is produced by the Management. c) The occupancy certificate is issued by a competent authority to the satisfaction of the Directorate of Higher Education.

The scheme aims to extend financial support to establish new, or expand/modernize existing, Small Scale Industry and Medium Scale Industry units. Benefits include term loans up to ₹10,00,00,000/- for fixed asset acquisition.

Benefit: Financial assistance (Term Loan) up to a maximum of ₹10,00,00,000/- per project. Loan proceeds may be used for acquiring fixed assets, including the purchase of land, construction of buildings, and procurement of machinery, equipment, electricals, and miscellaneous fixed assets. The maximum repayment period is 8 years, which includes a maximum moratorium period of 2 years. Benefit Disbursement Criteria The Debt Equity Ratio (DER) must be 3:1 for loans up to ₹25,00,000/-. The Debt Equity Ratio (DER) must be 2:1 for loans above ₹25,00,000/-. Conditions Collateral security in the form of immovable property must be offered as per the lending policy of the corporation. The valuation of properties offered as security must be assessed by engaging Chartered Engineers or valuers from the approved panel of the Corporation. In respect of immovable property situated in the Union Territory of Puducherry, the value of the property offered must be not less than the amount of the term loan sanctioned. In respect of immovable property situated outside the Union Territory of Puducherry, the value of land with building offered must be not less than 150% of the loan amount. If the property offered outside the Union Territory of Puducherry is only land, its value must be not less than 200% of the loan amount. For units promoted by Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Differently Abled persons, the value of the property to be offered as collateral security is fixed at 50% of the loan amount.

In the year 2010-11, Rajasthan Government has taken the initiative to encourage girl child education by starting a scheme to Study Abroad.

Benefit: A maximum of Rs. 30,000 for coaching and up to Rs.50,000 for registration for SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) examination will be borne by the state government per student on the basis of actual expenditure. 1. An amount of Rs. 25 thousand will be given to each girl student for submitting an application form for admission to a foreign university. 1. After the acceptance of the application by the foreign university, full accommodation facility of the university will be given and the economy class fare will also be provided to meet the parent once a year 1. A maximum amount of up to Rs.10.00 lakh per year will be spent on all the items on each student in the 4-year course.

The scheme “Scheme for Subsidy on Interest for Establishment of 1 to 20 Milch Animal Farm for the State Cattle Breeders” was started by the Dept. of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Government of Gujarat.

Benefit: The beneficiary can purchase 1 to 20 Milch animals (Any dairy animal cow & buffalo) at a subsidized rate as per their need and capacity to maintain. 1. The beneficiary can get an interest subsidy up to a maximum of 12% on the unit cost of the animal or the unit loan advanced by the bank for the purchase of the animal, whichever is lower, will be available for a period of five years. Note 01: The amount of interest subvention will be deposited in the beneficiary's loan account in the form of a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in installments. There will be no cash assistance for any of the beneficiaries. Note 02: The interest calculated on the actual interest, subject to a maximum of 12% interest, whichever is less, shall be payable under the said scheme at the rate fixed by the State Government on the price of the animal or on the interest paid by the bank on the animal, whichever is less.

There will be no cash assistance for any of the beneficiaries.

The "Scheme for Supply of Improved Seeds for Fodder" aims to supply improved quality fodder seeds to registered Gaushalas and Panjarapols to ensure round-the-year green fodder availability for livestock.

Benefit: Maize: Up to 10 kits (5 kg each) Sorghum: Up to 50 kits (5 kg each) Oats: Up to 5 kits (5 kg each) Lucerne: Up to 20 kits (2 kg each)

"Male Goat Supply Scheme on Grant Basis" aims to improve the breed of indigenous/local goats throughout the state. Through this scheme, one male goat of an improved breed (Jamnapari, Barbari, or Sirohi Bakra) is provided to goat farmers of all categories on a grant basis.

"Scheme for Supply of TV Sets to Industrial Establishments/Labour Welfare Centres/Clubs/Recreation Rooms" by the Dept of Labour and Employment, Goa aims to provide television sets to enable the workers/employees to witness programmes of nation national integration besides broadening their outlook.

Benefit: One TV Set (coloured) of up to ₹25,000, including all accessories. NOTE 1: The incidental expenses incurred in connection/ with the operation of TV Sets etc. will have to be borne by the concerned establishment. NOTE 2: If the Management/Union/Government fails to comply with the provisions of the schemes/agreement, the Goa Labour Welfare Board shall have the right to withdraw TV Set if it is supplied departmentally or recover the grant-in-aid amount with interest thereon at the prescribed rate if the TV is provided on grant-in-aid basis.

The "Scheme for Supportive Money to the Parents of Transgender Children" aims to provide financial assistance of ₹1,000/- to the parents of transgender children. Transgender persons face stigma and discrimination in almost every sphere of their life including within the group, health facilities.

Benefit: Financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per transgender parent per child per month.

The "Scheme for the Award of Scholarship for Post Graduate Students of Various Faculties of Junagadh Agricultural University" provides monthly scholarships to students pursuing Post Graduate in various faculties at Junagadh Agricultural University.

Benefit: Master’s degree students: ₹2,000/- per month for 2 years. - Ph.D. degree students: ₹3,000/- per month for 3 years.

The "Scheme for the Award of Scholarship for the Under Graduate Meritorious Students of Various Faculties of Junagadh Agricultural University" provides monthly scholarships to students pursuing Under Graduate in various faculties at Junagadh Agricultural University.

Benefit: Undergraduate Students: ₹1,000/- per month for 12 months.- Free Accommodation: Free hostel accommodation for girl students in all undergraduate faculties.
