Leaves: Casual leave: 15 days in an academic year. Medical leave: Maximum of one month (30 days) in an academic year. Maternity/Paternity leave: as per Govt. of India norms issued from time to time at full rates of scholarship, etc. once during the tenure of their award. However, the maximum duration of the scholarship will not be extended in any circumstances. NOTE: Prior approval of the QIP center is mandatory for all leaves. Mode of Payment: The Scholarship/ Annual Contingency/ Pre- PhD etc. will be released through the online QIP portal directly to the beneficiary’s Aadhar-linked account through DBT mode.

Quality Paddy Seed Distribution

Raah-Veer Yojana

The scheme encourages citizens to help road accident victims during emergencies by providing a ₹25,000 incentive to individuals who save lives through timely medical assistance.

Benefit: Tangible Benefits Provides a cash reward of ₹25,000 to individuals (“Rah-Veers”) who save the life of an accident victim by taking them to a hospital within the Golden Hour. Selected “Rah-Veers” may be nominated for national-level awards by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The MoRTH Evaluation Committee selects the top 10 Rah-Veers nationwide, each awarded ₹1,00,000, a certificate, and a trophy at the National Road Safety Mission (NRSM) in New Delhi. Each individual can be awarded a maximum of 5 times per year under this scheme. Mode of Disbursement The payment is made online directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). Frequency of Disbursement One-time per eligible instance, up to a maximum of 5 instances per year. Expected Time of Disbursement The payment is processed within 1 month after the District Evaluation Committee’s approval.

To encourage SME to opt for this route, assistance will be provided under this intervention. Quantum of Assistance (SME Exchange): One-time assistance of up to ₹15,00,000/- or the actual cost incurred for raising capital, whichever is lower, shall be provided to eligible SMEs upon successful raising of equity through an SME Exchange, in accordance with the approved scheme of the SME Exchange, during the operative period of these guidelines. Eligible expenditure shall include exchange-related fees (initial and annual listing fees), statutory and regulatory fees (SEBI filing fees, ROC filing fees, stamp duty), professional fees (legal advisor, auditor, registrar to the issue, merchant banker, company secretary), and other IPO-related expenses. A minimum of 6 SME shall benefit under this intervention. Conditions for Assistance (SME Exchange): The enterprise must apply for assistance after the date of listing on the SME Exchange, and within the operative period of these guidelines. SME status of the enterprise will be considered on the date of listing in the SME Exchange. SME should have registered as a Private/Public Limited entity and have a CN number SME listed in either or both NSE Emerge and BSE SME are eligible and should have an SME exchange listing approval letter. SME having a registered office within the jurisdiction of the UT of DNH&DD. The units must possess a valid Udyam Registration Number in the UT of DNH&DD Enterprises engaged in manufacturing and service sectors across all industries shall be eligible under this intervention. New/ Existing enterprises will be eligible.

Conditions for Assistance Energy or Water Audit Fees: Assistance shall be disbursed only upon submission of the audit report issued by the certified Energy/Water Auditor and proof of payment made to the accredited auditing agency. Enterprises classified as Small or Medium under the MSME definition are eligible to apply for reimbursement of energy audit and water audit fees.

Benefit: This intervention aims to promote the tourism sector in the Union Territory by incentivising destination weddings organised through local MSME service providers. Under this intervention, MSMEs-Service Provider operating in the UT can claim reimbursement of the GST component paid by clients hosting destination weddings at their premises. This mechanism encourages clients to choose the UT as a wedding destination, thereby boosting tourism and related service sectors Quantum of Assistance (Reimbursement of GST): An eligible MSME shall be reimbursed the actual GST amount paid, or up to ₹5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only), whichever is lower, for services rendered towards hosting destination weddings. The financial assistance shall be availed as a partial reimbursement spread across two consecutive financial years during the operative period of these guidelines. The reimbursement shall be settled on or before the 31st of March of each respective financial year, on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of funds. An eligible MSME may apply for reimbursement for two consecutive financial years during the operative period of these guidelines. Any unclaimed eligible amount from the first year may be carried forward to the following financial year, provided both years fall within the operative period A minimum of 25 MSMEs shall be eligible under this intervention. Conditions for Assistance (Reimbursement of GST): MSME must have hosted a destination wedding within UT territory during the operative period of these guidelines. Weddings held at non-commercial venues, including self-owned or family premises, and those involving MSME not registered under Udyam and GST, shall not qualify for reimbursement under this intervention. MSME must provide valid GST invoices raised for wedding-related services rendered. Following conditions to be followed by MSME for considering any wedding as destination wedding – Location Away from Home – The wedding must take place in a different city, state, or country from where the couple resides. Guest Travel Requirement – Guests usually need to travel and stay at the wedding destination. Venue Selection – Often held at resorts, hotels, heritage properties, beaches, mountains, or historical sites. Extended Celebrations – Destination weddings often span multiple days, including pre-wedding events, welcome dinners, and post-wedding brunches.

Benefit: This intervention aims to enhance the quality standards and global competitiveness of MSMEs in the Wire & Cable industry operating within the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, thereby improving their access to domestic and international markets. Under this intervention, the UT Administration will provide financial assistance in the form of reimbursement of costs incurred by MSMEs for product testing and certification, facilitating compliance with market entry requirements and industry standards. Quantum of Assistance (Testing and Certification cost in wire cable industry): Eligible MSMEs shall receive reimbursement up to {5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs only) or the actual cost incurred for Testing and Certification, whichever is lower. A minimum of 20 MSME units in the Wire & Cable industry shall be supported under this intervention. Conditions for Assistance (Testing and Certification cost in wire cable industry): MSME unit must be engaged in the manufacturing of Wire and Cable products. The expenditure must pertain specifically to product testing and certification carried out by accredited/recognised institutions or agencies. The testing/certification agency should possess a valid national/international accreditation. The MSME unit must provide valid invoices and payment proofs for the testing/certification services availed. MSMEs may claim reimbursement of eligible certification and testing costs, including the cost of certification renewal, subject to the reimbursement cap specified under the intervention. The following categories of product testing and certifications shall be eligible for reimbursement under this intervention. This shall include, but not be limited to, certifications accredited by government-recognised bodies or authorised agencies, subject to prior approval by the competent authority. - CE Certification - UL Certification (USA/Canada) - RoHS Compliance - REACH Compliance - ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 - ISO 45001 - CPR Certification (EU) - BASEC Certification - BIS Certification - Type Test Reports from NABL-accredited laboratories. The MSME unit must have been operational for a minimum period of one year prior to the date of application.

In case of serious injury, assistance should be approved up to ₹ 20,000, keeping in view the seriousness of the injury to the ordinary injured. A revolving fund of ₹20,00,000 each has been made available to all district collectors. The assistance is "one-time full-support" and is sanctioned by the concerned District Collector. In case of death of a seriously injured person in an accident while undergoing treatment, assistance is given on applying within a period of 6 months from the date of death instead of the date of application.
