The scheme aims to increase usage of millets and promote value-added millet products. Through this scheme, financial incentives on incremental sales are provided to eligible manufacturers.

Benefit: Financial Incentive on Incremental Sales: The applicant is provided an incentive for incremental sales of eligible millet-based food products. The incentive is calculated as: Incremental Sales × Applicable Rate of Incentive. Incremental sales refer to sales over and above the base year (FY 2020-21 for initial years). Incentive Rates: The incentive rate is 10% for the initial years and reduces to 8% in later years of the scheme. The applicable rate depends on the financial year of the claim. Maximum Incentive Limit: The applicant (Large Entity) can receive an incentive of up to ₹100,00,00,000/- during the scheme period. The applicant (MSME) can receive an incentive of up to ₹40,00,00,000/- during the scheme period. Coverage of Eligible Products: The incentive is applicable only to packaged and branded Ready-to-Cook (RTC) / Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products. The product should contain more than 15% millet content by weight/volume. Conditions for Availing Benefits: The applicant should achieve a minimum 10% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in sales of eligible products. The applicant will not receive incentive for a year if the minimum growth is not achieved. The applicant should ensure that the declared millet content is not reduced during the scheme period. Mode of Disbursement: The incentive is disbursed through Direct Bank Transfer to the applicant’s account via PFMS. Time of Disbursement: The claim for incentive is processed within 60 days from submission of complete documents.

The scheme aims to make Indian Jute Diversified Products globally cost-competitive and increase their export market share. It provides a financial reimbursement of up to ₹12,00,000/- per annum on raw material costs for Jute Mill Companies and MSME units engaged in exporting JDPs.

Benefit: Financial incentive reimbursing 5% of the cost of Jute Raw Material used in manufacturing exported Jute Diversified Products. The reimbursement is limited to 3% of the sales value of Jute Diversified Products exports, whichever is less. The maximum financial support provided is ₹12,00,000/- per unit per annum. Disbursement Payment for all Jute Material purchased and receipt of export proceeds must be made only through electronic means or banks. No cash transactions will be considered for the incentive. Claims are paid on a quarterly basis within two months of submission, provided the claims are complete in all respects with the required documentation. If a claimant misses a quarter, they can submit it with the immediate next quarter's claims along with a written explanation. Conditions The beneficiaries under the scheme must be Aadhaar-seeded. The claimants must give an undertaking to the National Jute Board that they have not availed nor will they avail of any other incentive on the Jute Diversified Products production and exports on which this incentive has been claimed. Claimants must update their documents and data at the beginning of every financial year. Any unit availing the benefits is liable to return the amount of subsidy with interest (at prevailing bank interest rates for commercial loans) if found to have claimed benefits using false or fraudulent documents.
