Ladies Vocational Centres
The Government of Jammu And Kashmir started “Ladies Vocational Centres” with the objective is to impart training in various trades i.e. Cutting, Embroidery, Knitting as well as Stenography to the female folk to enable them to start their income-generating units.
Benefit: The training is provided in the trades like Cutting and Tailoring, Leather-work, Machine Embroidery, Stenography, and Croshia work. The stipend @₹100/- per month is given to the candidates under training. The training is also provided under the Cottage Industry Centre in the trade of Carpentry, Leather-work, and Weaving.
Ladli Beti Scheme
A social assistance scheme sponsored by the J&K Govt. for newborn girl children born on or after 01/04/2015. The objective is to arrest the declining female sex ratio. The scheme ensures that the girl child does not become a burden for the parent or guardian at the time of her marriage.
Benefit: Benefits & Features:A recurring deposit account under this scheme shall be opened by the natural or legal guardian of the girl child. A contribution of Rs. 1000/- per month will be made by J&K Government from the birth of the girl child/account opening date for the next 14 years. (A total of Rs. 168000/- only will be contributed by the UT.) No credits other than a monthly contribution of Rs. 1000/- by the J&K Government is to be allowed in Phase I (RD Account) After the maturity of Phase I (recurring deposit account) the account will graduate to Phase II (Cumulative Term Deposit account). No partial drawls or Foreclosure will be allowed under any circumstances during any phase. Maturity benefits under the scheme will be paid to the beneficiary on completion of 21 years of age or 21 years after the first installment or 85 months after the last installment whichever is later by crediting the savings bank account of the girl child. However, the girl child is at liberty to reinvest the amount in any deposit plan of the bank at card rates. The nomination facility will not be applicable in the scheme. In the unfortunate event of the death of the girl child, the account will be closed immediately and the balance amount along with interest accrued will revert to the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh; In the event of the death of the beneficiary, before she attains 21 years of age, the amount in the Recurring Deposit account / Term Deposit account shall be closed before maturity without pre-payment charges. The account opened at a particular branch may not be transferred to any other branch even if the girl child in whose name the account stands shifts to a place other than the city or locality where the account stands. The beneficiary/parent or guardian of the beneficiary shall produce a ‘life certificate of the beneficiary (girl child)’ certified by a gazetted officer or by the principal of the school/ college where she is enrolled before the concerned bank branch after every three years and at the time of maturity. As the scheme is aimed at households having an annual income of less than 75000/- The TDS shall not be deducted as long as the guardian/beneficiary furnishes form 15G/15H every year and has a valid PAN
Ladli Laxmi Yojana
Ladli Lakshmi Yojana has been started in Madhya Pradesh for Girl Child in 2007.
Benefit: An assurance certificate of ₹1,43,000/- is issued by the government in the name of the girl child. From the time of registration, ₹6,000/- will be deposited in the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi Yojana Fund for five consecutive years, the total amount of ₹30,000/- will be deposited in the name of the girl child. 1. To girl child taking admission in class 6th: ₹2,000/- To girl child taking admission in class 9th: ₹4,000/- To girl child taking admission in class 11th: ₹6,000/- To girl child taking admission in class 12th: ₹6,000/- An incentive amount of ₹25,000/- in two equal installments in the first and last year of the course after taking admission to a graduate or professional course (course duration minimum two years) after class 12th. Final payment of ₹1,00,000/- on completion of 21 years of age of the girl child, on appearing in class 12th examination and on the marriage of the girl child, after completing the age prescribed by the government.
Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme
Launched on 1st January 2006, the “Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme” is a flagship social-security scheme by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Haryana. The family receives ₹2,750/- per month for 15 years after either of the two parents completes 45 years of age.
Benefit: ₹2,500/- per month for 15 years, after either of the two parents completes 45 years of age. NOTE 1: The benefit will be paid to the mother. Land/Built-Up Area Rebate Scheme
"Land/Built-Up Area Rebate Scheme" by the Dept. of IT, Govt. of Goa. The scheme aims to provide Land / Built-up Area Rebate to the IT Industry in the state of Goa. A one-time rebate for the purchase of Land for creating IT Office Space and for the purchase of Built-Up office space for IT operations.
Benefit: Purchase of Land for creating IT Office Space: A one-time rebate at ₹40,000 per male employee (₹50,000 per female employee) will be provided up to 60% of the cost of the land as determined by the Consideration Amount (value as defined in the Stamp Registration/ Sale Deed). Purchase of Built-Up office space for IT operations: A one-time rebate will be provided up to 20% of the cost of the space as determined by the Consideration Amount (value as defined in the Stamp Registration/ Sale Deed). NOTE 1: The maximum rebate under this provision for land purchased would be ₹1,50,00,000 and for the purchase of Built up space would be ₹1,00,00,000. NOTE 2: A Unit can avail of any one of the above-mentioned rebate options. To avail of this rebate, the Units should have direct employment proportional to the built-up space created at the rate of up to 80 sq ft per employee. Direct employees should have been on the rolls of the unit for a minimum period of 12 months. Based on the number of employees of Goan origin or Goan Graduates, the percentage of incentives under clauses 2.1 and 2.2 above shall be disbursed on a pro-rata basis as under: Upto 30% of employees on rolls of the company: 50% 30% to 60% employees on rolls of the company: 75% More than 60% of employees on the rolls of the company: 100%. For Existing Units, rebates may be claimed on transactions that are made up to 3 years prior to the notification of the policy. For New Units, the rebate may be availed on transactions made post-notification of the policy. Prescribed guarantees would be taken from the sponsors of the project for the rebate. NOTE: The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation. No Promissory Estoppel shall be applicable if benefits are discontinued in case the allocation is exceeded.

The scheme aims to equip Class XI students with individual portable computer systems to enhance digital learning, knowledge acquisition, and skill attainment for employment or self-employment. Students receive one entry-level Laptop or Notebook equipped with specific technical requirements.
Benefit: Provision of one (1) entry-level portable computer system (Notebook or Laptop). Details of Equipment The system must be equipped with at least mid-level Processors. The system must include a DVD-ROM Drive. The system must include Wi-Fi connectivity. The system must include multimedia speakers. The system must have a 15-inch or more screen size. The system must have a requisite Preloaded Open Standards Supported Operating System. The operating system must be backed by premium or comprehensive technical support for at least three (3) years from reputed software companies such as Windows Operating System. Disbursement Benefits are derived immediately after the approval of the Government, depending on the availability of funds and after following all codal formalities. The portable computer systems are supplied immediately to the students in various higher secondaries once tenders are decided and supply orders are issued to the various suppliers. Conditions _The applicant must deposit a refundable Registration Fee as decided by the Government._ _The fee, once deposited, is not refunded in any case by the Government._ _The student, parent, or guardian shall give a valid receipt of the portable computer system received to the Education Department._ _This receipt must be submitted after obtaining the portable computer system through the respective Head of the Institute._
