The “H.P. Swaran Jayanti Middle Merit Scholarship Scheme” scheme was launched by the Department of Elementary Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh for students studying in Class V is meant to identify the talent and nurture it at an early stage.

The scheme aims to perform Haj Pilgrimage at Holy Mecca. The scheme provides an air fare subsidy of ₹24,000/- for each pilgrim and includes free medical facility while in Mecca. The applicant must be an Indian citizen who possesses sound health and has not performed Haj for the preceding five years.

Benefit: Air fare of ₹24,000/- is given as subsidy for each pilgrim. Free medical facility is provided at Mecca. Subsidy is distributed towards airfare to each and every pilgrim when he applies through the State Haj Committee. The pilgrim should comply with the requisites stipulated for eligibility and application procedure.

Under this scheme, ₹1,20,000 financial assistance is provided for self-constructed houses in rural south Gujarat to support housing needs of Halpati (Talaviya, Nayaka) caste members included in Scheduled Tribes.

Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Hamaal Hetu Joota, Huk Evan Mahila Hamaal Hetu Soopa Aur Tokari Sahaayata Yojana" for unorganized worker on 11 March 2015.

The scheme aims to encourage residents of Uttarakhand to plant and protect trees on their private land by providing financial incentives, thereby promoting environmental conservation, increasing green cover, and linking economic benefits with tree plantation.

Benefit: Under this scheme, as an incentive for planting fuelwood, fodder, fruit, and timber species on private land, a Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) will be created at the rate of ₹300/- per plant and mortgaged to the Divisional Forest Officer. - Based on the survival and success of the plants, the concerned beneficiary will receive the secured amount in the form of an FDR after three years. - A maximum of 100 plants per applicant/family will be eligible for this benefit each year.

The aim of the scheme is to encourage tree plantation and environmental awareness among students by providing free saplings to schools for planting within their premises. Under this scheme, free plants are provided for planting in all government and non-government schools.

The "Handicrafts Export Award" scheme was launched by the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles, and Khadi Dept, Government of Tamil Nadu. This award is given to encourage the exporters of handicraft items with a cash prize of ₹40,000/-, 4 gm gold medal, thamirapattiram & a certificate.

The scheme aims to provide free one-week residential hands-on certificate training programs to undergraduate, postgraduate students, researchers, and faculty members, including accommodation and meals.

Benefit: Free residential one-week hands-on training (certificate programme) sessions are being organized on various subjects to provide practical knowledge to the researchers, professors, and students of the state in collaboration with various institutions, in which UG/PG students, researchers, and teachers from higher education institutions across all districts of the state are participating. Meals are also provided free of cost during this residential training.

The Shri Hari Om Ashram Prerit Doctor Vikram Sarabhai Research Awards are biennial awards established with funds from Pujya Shri Mota of Hari Om Ashram, Nadiad, to recognize outstanding contributions by Indian scientists under the age of 45 in the fields of Space Sciences etc.
