The scheme aims to provide 8 weeks of free pre-recruitment training for recruitment into the Military, Paramilitary, and Police Forces to sons of ex-servicemen aged between 16 and 21 years who have passed high school with at least 45% marks.

The Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme Department, Government of Tamil Nadu launched the "Free Supply of Note Books to the Children of Poor Widows" scheme to supply notebooks to children of poor widows studying up to higher secondary courses and govt. children homes and service homes.

The scheme aims to increase fruit production by encouraging farmers to establish new orchards, providing fruit plants at a 50% subsidy to support the expansion of fruit cultivation across Uttarakhand.

Benefit: Increasing production by establishing new orchards. - Fruit plants are provided at a subsidy of 50% of the total cost. - For developing orchards, fruit plants such as mango, guava, pomegranate, apple, litchi, plum, peach, apricot, walnut, citrus, malta, kiwi, dragon fruit, etc., are provided to farmers.
