The scheme "Financial Assistance To Dependent Children of Widows And Destitute Women" is a Social Welfare scheme by the Dept. of Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Govt. of Chandigarh; to extend financial assistance (₹ 1000/- per month per child) to children who are fatherless or orphan.

The scheme aims to encourage non-commercial dramatic troupes participating in Kala Academy’s Annual Tiatr Competition to produce higher quality Tiatrs. It provides financial support for various production aspects, video recording, and expert workshops, benefiting dramatic troupes.

Benefit: Financial Support For improving aspects of Tiatr production, including Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music with at least 2 blowing instruments, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, and Transport. The extent of the financial support shall be fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa. Direct payment to the Institution based on submitted bills. Conditions _The troupe must compulsorily participate in workshops organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa by deputing at least one of its members; otherwise, they will not be entitled to avail the benefits of this scheme._ _The Tiatr must not contain any adverse remark in any form, either written or verbal, against any Government/Individual/Institution, etc., or anything against one’s caste, creed, and religion which may lead to hurting of religious sentiments; if proved so, Tiatr Academy of Goa reserves the right to disqualify the performance and refrain from making any payment or recall the payment if already made._ _All advertisements, oral, print or electronic media, banners/standees, etc., must insert/publish and announce before the performance and during the interval that ‘This Tiatr is staged in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goa’._ Video Recording of Tiatr and Digital Versatile Disc Copy Tiatr Academy of Goa will video record the said Tiatr for its Library and other uses. One copy of the Digital Versatile Disc will be given to the Institution free of cost. To preserve the presentation of Tiatr for future generations. The dramatic troupe will have the freedom to use the Digital Versatile Disc in any manner, but cannot make use of the logo of Tiatr Academy of Goa on the said Digital Versatile Disc. The videographer will be appointed by Tiatr Academy of Goa. Expertise and Workshops Tiatr Academy of Goa will provide expertise to the troupes in the different compartments of Tiatr (Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, Transport) by organizing workshops in those aspects. Conditions _The troupe will have to compulsorily participate in these workshops by deputing at least one of the members of the troupe._
