Under this scheme, one-time financial assistance is provided to the children (2 boys & 3 girls) of workers employed in industrial and commercial establishments of the state of Haryana at the time of admission to continue their studies.

The scheme "Financial Assistance for Scaling Mount Everest and Other Inaccessible Mountains of the World" aims to promote mountaineering by providing financial aid to successful climbers, including up to ₹15,00,000 for those who scale Mt. Everest.

Benefit: Financial Support for Mountaineers: Financial assistance ranging from ₹50,000/- to ₹10,00,000/- is provided to individuals depending on the height and difficulty of the mountain scaled. A maximum of ₹15,00,000/- is provided to those who successfully climb Mount Everest.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹50,000/- is provided to registered women workers for arranging their own marriage who have a minimum one-year regular membership.

Through this scheme, financial assistance of 25% of the actual cost, limited to ₹1,50,000 per hectare is provided to eligible fishermen for setting up crab culture unit. Only Fish Farmer/ Individual/ Registered Self Help Group/ Societies, interested in the setting up of the Crab Farming Unit.

The scheme aims to assist the Proprietary/Partnership Concerns, Public/Private Limited Companies, Co-operative Societies, Market Committees, Boards, and Agro Industries Corporations. The assistance is provided for setting up of Cold Storage facilities. The applications for this scheme are online.

Benefit: Loan Limit: Minimum of ₹2,50,00,000/- and maximum as applicable to term loans. Loan Purpose: For setting up of Cold Storage facilities. Repayment: 8 years including moratorium period of 2 years.

“Financial Assistance for setting up of Ornamental Fish Unit in Goa” is a scheme by the Dept. of Fisheries, Govt. of Goa. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to eligible fishermen for setting up Breeding Units and Rearing Units. The applications are accepted only in offline mode.

Benefit: Setting Up of a Breeding Unit: 50% of the actual cost, limited to ₹ 1,50,000/-. Setting Up of a Rearing Unit: 50% of the actual cost, limited to ₹ 1,50,000/-. Setting Up of a Rearing Unit & Breeding Unit: 50% of the actual cost, limited to ₹ 2,50,000/-.

The scheme “Financial Assistance for Stage III & IV Cancer Patients” was launched by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, a monthly financial assistance of ₹3,000/- will be provided to Stage III & IV cancer patients of Haryana from 01.01.2024.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance/pension of ₹3,000/- per month will be provided to Stage III and IV cancer patients starting from 01.01.2024.

The scheme is implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Resources Department, Govt. of Bihar. Under this scheme, educational financial support is provided to the children of registered workers who have been members of the Board for at least one year.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the following financial assistance is provided to the children of registered building and construction workers: 1. Full tuition fees are covered for admission to prestigious government institutes like IIT, IIM, AIIMS, etc. 1. A one-time financial assistance of ₹20,000/- is provided upon admission to a B.Tech. or equivalent course in a government institution. 1. A one-time financial assistance of ₹10,000/- is provided for pursuing a Polytechnic, Nursing, or equivalent diploma course in a government institution. 1. A one-time financial assistance of ₹5,000/- is provided for pursuing an ITI or equivalent course in a government institution.

This scheme promotes cultural activities across states and fosters unity while providing opportunities for creative expression and learning, especially for the youth.

Benefit: Nature and Extent of Financial Assistance Financial assistance under the scheme component for any project will normally be up to a maximum of ₹15 crores. In extremely rare cases, of outstanding merit and relevance, the financial assistance can go up to ₹ 50 crores, but then each such individual case of Central assistance beyond ₹15 crores will be subjected to the usual appraisal/ approval mechanism prescribed for new Plan schemes. The maximum amount of Central financial assistance which may be given under this scheme component would be 60% of the total approved project cost subject to the maximum financial ceiling as mentioned in para 5.1 above except in case of projects in North Eastern Region(NER). The remaining amount of 40% of the total approved project cost will be borne by the recipient State Govt./UT Admin./NGO or concerned organization. Cost of land will not be included in matching share. Developed land with approach road will be made available by the concerned State Government, free of cost, unless the organization has land of its ownership. In case of projects in North Eastern Region (NER) [comprises States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura] the maximum amount of Central financial assistance would be 90% of the total approved project cost subject to the maximum financial ceiling as mentioned in para 5.1 above. The remaining amount of 10% of the total approved project cost will be borne by the recipient State Govt./NGO or concerned organization. Cost of land will not be included in matching share. Developed land with approach road will be made available by the concerned State Government, free of cost, unless the organization has land of its ownership. All recurring expenditure will be met by the State Government/ UT Admin. or concerned organization. 0.5% of project cost may be released for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) on the recommendations of Sub-Committee and National Appraisal Committee (NAC).

The “Financial Assistance for the Education of Children of the Beneficiary” scheme by the BOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Odisha, is a welfare scheme that provides financial assistance for education to the children of the registered member of the board for a period of one year or more.

This is a welfare scheme by the GNCTD to provide financial assistance to poor widows for performing the marriage of their daughters and to provide financial assistance to the guardians including Homes/Institutions or foster parents of an orphan girl or an orphan girl for her marriage.

Benefit: The quantum of Assistance is one-time ₹ 30,000/- up to two daughters only.

By the Chandigarh Government, this scheme is initiated to reduce the financial burden for the girl marriage. Under the scheme financial assistance will be provided.

“Financial Assistance for the Purchase of Lifejackets and Lifebuoys for Fishermen” is a scheme by the Dept. of Fisheries, Govt. of Goa. Through this scheme, financial assistance amounting to ₹50% is provided by the Government to eligible fishermen for the Purchase of Lifejackets and Lifebuoys.

Benefit: The support is extended up to ₹1,000/- per lifejacket and ₹1,500/- per lifebuoy. For Canoe Fitted With OBM: 05 Life Jackets and 01 Lifebuoy. For Mechanised Trawlers Engaged in Trawling Operations: 08 Life Jackets and 02 Lifebuoys. For Mechanised Trawlers Engaged in Purse Seining Operation: 25 Life Jackets and 04 Lifebuoys.

Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given to the spouse of registered male construction workers or female construction workers for purchase of sewing machine, once in life time.

The scheme aims to provide monthly financial assistance for the treatment of ex-servicemen and their dependents (wife & children) who have a disability of 40% or more and are suffering from serious illnesses such as cancer, leprosy, tuberculosis, kidney and cardiac ailments, paralysis, etc.

The scheme provides financial assistance to ST and OBC/MOBC students of Assam who have cleared the APSC/UPSC preliminary exam and are appearing for the mains exam in the current year.
