Chhatrawas (Scheduled Caste)

Launched in 1966-67, the scheme "Chhatrawas" is a welfare scheme by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Govt of MP. The scheme provides free residential facilities in Scheduled Caste hostels for boys and girls studying in educational institutions.

Benefit: Financial Support: Students receive ₹1460/- to ₹1500/- per month. Additional Facilities: Food, Hostel, Material Assistance, Scholarship, Free Food and Accommodation, Sports Equipment, Cosmetic Kit and Library Facility.

In view of the difficulty faced by poor families regarding the marriage of the girl child, the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana has been implemented.

Benefit: A financial assistance of up to ₹50,000 per daughter is provided for marriage. Up to ₹7,000/- can be given as material assistance. ₹35,000/- is provided to the bride through a bank draft. Up to ₹8,000/- can be spent on the mass marriage ceremony per beneficiary.

The scheme aims to provide free laptops and tablets to eligible students in higher education institutions. The scheme intends to facilitate the use of new technologies among the state's youth, thereby fostering their economic and social development, and enhancing their knowledge and careers.

Benefit: Free laptops are provided to eligible final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students of engineering colleges, medical colleges, and other identified technical higher education institutions. Free tablets are provided to eligible final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students in universities, colleges, and higher education institutions, specifically those in commerce, arts, and science streams. The distribution occurs in each academic session. Each eligible student will receive either a tablet or a laptop only once during their academic life in any college/institution within the state. _CHIPS will determine the specifications of the laptops and tablets._ _CHIPS will purchase laptops/tablets according to the specified procurement process and specifications and deliver them to the Department of Technical Education and the Department of Higher Education for distribution. The Department of Technical Education and the Department of Higher Education will inform CHIPS about the receipt and distribution locations of the laptops/tablets each year._

Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana

The scheme aims to accord quality and cashless healthcare services to the indigenous people of the state and government employees and reduce out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses during major illness and hospitalization, thereby envisaging universal healthcare for all sections of society.

Benefit: Coverage of up to ₹5,00,000 per family per year. Cashless treatments during hospitalization. Pre-existing diseases are inclusively covered. The scheme encompasses expenses for pre-hospitalization for up to 3 days. Post-hospitalization expenses for up to 10 days are covered. Hospitalization expenses include: Registration Charges, Bed Charges (General Ward), Nursing and Boarding Charges, Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Medical Practitioners, Consultants Fees, etc.. Anaesthesia, Blood Transfusion, Oxygen, Operating Theatre (OT) Charges, Cost of Surgical Appliances, etc., Medicines and Drugs, Cost of Prosthetic Devices, Implants, etc., Pathology and Radiology Tests: Radiology to Include but Not Be Limited to X-ray, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) Scan, etc., Diagnosis and Tests, etc., Food for the Patient. Pre and Post-hospitalization expenses encompass costs incurred for consultation, diagnostic tests, and medicines before the patient's admission to the hospital. Additionally, it covers the cost of diagnostic tests and medicines up to 10 days post-discharge for the same ailment/surgery. All other expenses related to the patient's treatment within the hospital are also covered. NOTE: In the case the applicant has employment with the state government, the insurance program’s benefits are also available to their dependents.

The "Chief Minister BC & EBC Chhatravas Anudan Yojana", implemented by the Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, provides financial assistance to students from Backward Classes (BC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) residing in government hostels.

The programme “Chief Minister’s Career Advancement in Biotechnology (CM-CAB)” aims at providing opportunities to Young Faculty and Scientists in Biotechnology to have national and/or international collaborative research training and exposure to advanced techniques and technologies in biotechnology.

Benefit: Fellowship of USD 1500 per month (in equivalent Indian Currency) in cases where the host institution is outside India. 1. The fellowship will be ₹50,000/- per month if the host institution is within India. 1. A contingency grant to meet the expenses for local travel, VISA fees, insurance, etc. will also be paid as per actuals subjected to a ceiling of ₹50,000/-.

The Rajasthan State government started the "Chief Minister Ekal Nari Samman Pension Yojana" scheme for women's support and empowerment.

Benefit: From 18 to 55 years old: Rs. 500/- per month. From 55 to 60 years: Rs. 750/- per month. From 60 to 75 years: 1000/- per month. Above the age of 75 years: 1500/- per month.

Under this scheme, a one-time grant of ₹20,000/- is provided to the family or close relative in the case of the death of a person of any age in an accident, or the death of a person aged 18-60 years in a criminal incident.

Benefit: Under this scheme, a one-time grant of ₹20,000/- is provided to the family or close relative of the deceased person.

The cost of bed preparation, fertilizer etc. will have to be borne by the beneficiaries. Departmental officers will provide complete technical support to the beneficiaries. For the year 2015- 16 cultivation of Gerbera under Shade net house with tissue cultured planting materials is proposed to be taken up covering an area of 200 sqm. per unit area.

Chief Minister Help Scheme

Launched on 02-10-2019, the Chief Minister Help Scheme under the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department, Madhya Pradesh, provides food distribution and material aid to Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries whose family members are not in government service.

Benefit: On Birth of a Child: 50 kg of wheat, rice, and cooking utensils. On the Death of a Family Member: 1 quintal of rice for the following districts: Mandla, Dindori, Balaghat, Shahdol, Anuppur and Umaria. 1 quintal of wheat for the following districts: Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Ratlam, Hoshangabad, Betul, Sidhi, Seoni, Chhindwara, Dhar, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Sheopur.

The scheme was launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan. This scheme aims to enhance educational levels and provide scholarship to children from low-income families.

Benefit: Under this scheme, eligible students will receive the following financial assistance:: - The students will receive ₹500/- per month for a maximum of 10 months, totaling up to ₹5,000/- annually. - The students with a disability of 40% or more will receive ₹1,000/- per month for up to 10 months, totaling a maximum of ₹10,000/- annually. Note: The benefits under this scheme are available for a maximum of 5 years for regular students studying in higher educational institutions. If students discontinue their studies before completing 5 years, the benefits will be valid only for the previous year.

The scheme "Chief Minister’s Housing Assistance Programme" by the Housing Department, Government of Meghalaya, aims to provide durable housing to EWS and LIG families. Through this scheme, roofing materials and dwelling houses are provided to eligible families in the State.

Benefit: Three bundles of 9-foot-long GCI sheets (roofing material) for EWS households as an outright grant. Construction of a durable house with a carpet area of a minimum of 19.20 sqm (207 sq. ft) with at least 2 rooms for LIG households as a credit-linked subsidy. Financial assistance up to ₹75,000 under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for LIG houses. Additional cost to be borne by beneficiary through own resources, MGNREGS, SRWP, or bank loan. Houses to be constructed as per government-approved model (Annexure-A). Land ownership and geo-tagging are mandatory for the beneficiary. Note: In case of Credit Linked Subsidy, funds are disbursed in installments through bank/post office account based on progress certified by the Housing Selection and Monitoring Committee.

A Scheme Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana started under the Social Welfare Department by Bihar State Government for the social empowerment of females.

Benefit: Target Group To the girl child born from the date of issue of notification. Given only to two girl children of the family. Payable to a family resident in Bihar. Nature of Grant: Rs. 2,000/- will be transferred to the Parents/guardians of every girl child in the age group from 0 to 1 year. After the completion of 1 year of the girl child and Aadhaar registration, the amount of Rs. 1,000/- will be payable again in the same account.

Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana

In 2023, Madhya Pradesh State Government started "Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana" for women empowerment

Benefit: An amount of ₹1,000/- per month will be paid to each eligible woman in her eligibility period in the own Aadhaar linked DBT enabled bank account. If a woman is below the age of 60 years and already receiving less than ₹1,000/- per month under any other Social Security Pension Scheme, then that woman will be reimbursed up to ₹1,000/-.
