The "WISE Fellowship for Ph.D. (WISE-PhD)" of the Department of Science and Technology aims to provide an opportunity to carry out Doctoral research in basic and applied sciences to women scientists and technologists between the age group of 27-45 years who want to pursue research in STEM fields.

Benefit: The fellowship amount under this programme is ₹37,000/- per month along with House Rent Allowances (HRA) as per norms. 1. This Programme also provides a Research Grant of ₹1.00 lakh per year and Institutional overhead charges @₹ 0.50 lakh per year (as per DST norms).

“WISE Post-Doctoral Fellowship” is a new programme of the Department of Science & Technology that aims to provide opportunities to women scientists & technologists between the age group of 27-60 years who want to continue their research as bench-level scientists in basic and applied sciences.

Benefit: Fellowship Amount: ₹55,000/- per month is provided as fellowship along with House Rent Allowance as per Department of Science and Technology (DST) norms. - Research Grant: ₹2,00,000/- per year is provided to support research activities under the programme. - Equipment Support: Financial assistance up to ₹3,00,000/- is provided for the purchase of small equipment. - Institutional Overhead Charges: Additional institutional overhead charges are covered as per applicable norms. - Project Duration: The maximum duration of the project is 3 years.

The “WISE-SCOPE Fellowship” Program was started by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India with the aims to provide opportunity to Women Scientists and Technologists who have completed Ph.D. and want to utilize their S&T knowledge and expertise for the benefit of society.

Benefit: Monthly Fellowship: Eligible candidates will receive a fellowship amount of ₹55,000/- per month along with HRA as per norms. - Research Grant: Selected fellows will be provided a research grant of ₹2.00 Lakhs per year for project-related activities. - Field Demonstration Support: Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- will be provided for field demonstration during the project tenure. - Equipment Assistance: Support for the purchase of small equipment up to a maximum of ₹2,00,000/- will be provided. - Institutional Overhead Charges: Institutional overhead charges will be given as per DST norms.

The scheme “Women Involvement in Science and Engineering Research (WISER)” aims to build scientific capacity, retain and promote women researchers in India & Germany by utilizing complementary expertise in science, technology, innovation and research partnerships.

Benefit: The grant will cover basic project assistance (including research staff for the Indian awardee, consumables, and contingency) for the awardee in the parent country and a one-month research stay in the host country (single round-trip airfare, visa fee, medical insurance, per diem for the stay). Indian Awardee: 1. Travel (including visa fee and insurance) approximately ₹1,00,000/-. 1. Project cost up to ₹12,00,000/- per year (including research staff, consumables, contingency, and per diem @ €2300/month in Germany). German Awardee: 1. Travel (including visa fee and insurance) approximately €1500. 1. Project cost up to €14500/year (including consumables, contingency, and per diem @ € 2300/month in India).

A Research Grant by MoST for female candidates to pursue research in frontier areas of science and engineering, preferably those having a break in career (minimum two years) and not having regular employment, to explore possibility of re-entry into the profession.

Benefit: ₹ 55,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for Ph.D. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 30 lakh) ₹ 40,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for M.Phil./MTech or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 25 lakh) ₹ 31,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for M.Sc. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 20 lakh) This grant will cover the fellowship of the applicant and cost of small equipments, contingencies, travel, consumables, etc. The benefits are provided for a period of maximum three years. The payment of the scholarship will be through DBT.

A Research Grant by MoST for female candidates with break in their career interested in addressing societal challenges through viable S&T interventions. Women scientists who wish to apply under this scheme are required to develop their own project/proposals for scientific and technological solutions

Benefit: ₹ 55,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for Ph.D. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 30 lakh (excluding HRA and Overhead) ₹ 40,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for M.Phil./MTech or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 25 lakh (excluding HRA and Overhead) ₹ 31,000/- pm (and HRA as applicable) for M.Sc. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding ₹ 20 lakh (excluding HRA and Overhead) The Project Cost consists of Fellowship of Principal Investigator (PI), Consumables, Travel, Contingencies, and Minor Equipment but excluding HRA and overheads.

A scheme by MoST for female candidates with a break in their career interested in addressing societal challenges through viable S&T interventions. 1-year training is provided in Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), patent search, know-how, drafting, filing, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright.

Benefit: ₹ 35,000/- per month for Ph.D. in Basic or Applied Sciences/MD or equivalent degree. ₹ 30,000/- per month for M.Phil / M.Tech / M.Pharm / M.VSc or equivalent degree. ₹ 25,000/- per month for M.Sc in Basic or Applied Sciences / MBBS / B.Tech or equivalent degree.

The "Women Self Employment Scheme" encourages women to become self-reliant and supports their efforts in establishing small-scale industries or trade ventures, thereby improving their economic status & promoting self-employment opportunities across the state providing them financial assistance.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹5,000/- provides women to help them start small businesses or trade activities.

'WIDUSHI' programme aims to encourage and support senior women scientists to conduct research in interdisciplinary areas of Science and Technology.

Launched on 1st January 2018, the "Workers for Class 9th to 12th" scheme, under the MUHAFIZ Scheme by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Dept., J&K, provides ₹1,200 per year for up to two children of registered BOC workers through the National Scholarship Portal.

Benefit: An annual scholarship of ₹1,200 per child (up to two children)

The "Workers In Case of Partial Permanent Disablement" scheme by the JKBOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Jammu & Kashmir, provides financial assistance to registered Building and Other Construction (BOC) workers in the case of permanent disablement.

Benefit: Under the scheme, ₹2,00,000 is provided to registered BOC workers in case of partial permanent disablement.

The scheme "Working Women Hostel" by the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Haryana aims to provide safe and affordable accommodation to working women. Through this scheme, hostel facilities at subsidized rent are provided to employed women.

Benefit: Rental Charges: - Single Bedrooms: Not exceeding 15% of total emoluments/gross salary. - Double Bedrooms: Not exceeding 10% of total emoluments/gross salary. - Dormitories: Not exceeding 7.5% of total emoluments/gross salary.

The scheme aims to provide affordable and reliable domestic drinking water connections to eligible households in selected semi-urban areas of Uttarakhand, ensuring improved access to safe and adequate drinking water.

Benefit: Under this scheme, domestic water connections are provided by depositing a nominal connection fee of ₹1.00 and an application fee of ₹25.00.

The aim of the scheme is to provide lifelong financial assistance of ₹15,000/- per month as a measure of relief to World War II ex-servicemen and their widows who are not receiving any pension or financial assistance from any other source.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: A pension of ₹15,000 per month is provided for a lifetime. Mode of Disbursement: The pension is deposited monthly into the beneficiary’s bank account.

The scheme "Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat Yojana for VJNTs," was launched by the Dept of Social Justice & Special Assistance, Govt of Maharashtra. Each VJNT family will receive a plot of land measuring 5 gunthas (approximately 500 square meters or about 5,382 square feet).

Benefit: Each family is provided with a plot of land measuring 5 gunthas (approximately 500 square meters or about 5,382 square feet). This plot of land will include the construction of a 269-square-foot home, forming a cluster of 20 families. The project will also cover the essential amenities, including shelter, internal roads, drainage, water supply, electricity, and a community hall (Samaj Mandir) for social activities. The entire project aims to improve the living standards of VJNT (Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes) families by offering them stable housing and related amenities. The benefit of this scheme is given every year to 3 villages amongst 34 districts (except Mumbai & B. Mumbai) to 20 families. _The land for the house shall be given under this scheme on the names of the husband and wife jointly. However, in the case of widow and divorcee, land and house shall be given by their name._ _The land allotted under this scheme is non-transferable, it will not be sold to anyone. The house or land should not be given on rent._

The scheme aims to support researchers and scientists in attending international scientific workshops and other programs by providing eligible applicants with travel grants covering up to 50% of the expenses (maximum ₹25,000/-).

Benefit: The Council provides travel grants to researchers and scientists to participate in international scientific workshops and other similar programs. - Under this scheme, 50% of the travel expenses (up to a maximum of ₹25,000/-) are provided to researchers and scientists of the state.

The "Yatra Pass in DTC non AC Buses for the Construction Workers" by the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Delhi, is a welfare scheme that provides a pass of ₹ 2400/- per three months for non AC DTC bus to the registered workers for purchasing.

Benefit: A pass of 2400/- per three months for non AC DTC bus is provided.

The scheme aims to promote holistic health and wellness among people of all age groups through yoga, naturopathy, and personalized counseling.

Benefit: Under this scheme, Yoga, naturopathy, and counseling services are provided based on the individual’s health condition. For this, the OPD fee is ₹1.00 per person in rural areas and ₹2.00 per person in urban areas.
