Semi-Commercial Duck Farming
The scheme “Semi-Commercial Duck Farming” started under the State Sector Scheme "Encouragement of Commercial Poultry Entrepreneur and Promotion of Backyard Poultry Production" to support small entrepreneurs in setting up Duck farms with a capacity of 1000 ducks.
Benefit: The individual beneficiary will be provided a maximum of 40% subsidy. Training will be organized at the Block Head Quarter level or any other convenient place after the final approval of the list. Each beneficiary will be trained on recommended management practices on feeding and watering, brooding and rearing young ducks, record keeping, etc. The concerned Livestock Inspectors, Gomitras and PraniMitras will guide the beneficiaries in field for managing the duck units. Routine vaccination of birds on a priority basis. The Block Veterinary Officer (BVO) will provide all technical guidance to the farmer for maintaining proper veterinary health care and immunization of the ducks. The beneficiary shall directly procure quality ducklings from reputed sources which will be facilitated by the respective BVOs. Note: The subsidy will be released in two phases through DBT mode to the individual beneficiary. The 1st installment of 40% of the eligible subsidy will be released after the construction of the duck shed and 2nd installment of the eligible subsidy shall be released after the stocking of ducklings.

Maturity Duration: SCSS comes with a maturity period of 5 years. That said, one can extend the scheme for another 3 years by submitting a duly filled-up Form B. Nonetheless, in this regard, the interest rate as per the quarter is levied. Deposit Limit: Individuals can deposit a minimum of ₹ 1,000 to open their accounts. Moreover, one can deposit ₹ 15 lakh or the amount of retirement benefit, whichever is lower. Account Closure: Deductions are made against premature withdrawals. If closed before a period of 2 years, 1.5% deduction will be made as a penalty. Furthermore, if closed after 2 years, 1% is deducted. However, for extended accounts, one can withdraw funds post one year without attracting penalties. Quarterly Disbursals: One can expect quarterly disbursements against the deposited amount. The interest gets credited to the account on the 1st of April, July, October, and January. Nomination Option: The account holder can register a nominee to the Senior Citizens Saving Scheme. So, if the account holder passes away before maturity, the nominee will receive the due amount.

SERB - POWER Research Grants
The aim of the ‘SERB - POWER Research Grants’ is to encourage emerging and eminent women researchers for individual-centric and competitive mode of research funding to undertake R&D activities in frontier areas of science and engineering.
Benefit: Nature and Duration of Support : POWER Grants will empower women researchers by funding them under the following two categories: - Level I: The scale of funding up to ₹60 lakhs for three years. - Level II: The scale of funding up to ₹30 lakhs for three years. - The POWER Grant is provided for equipment, manpower, consumables, travel, and contingency. "Overheads" is also being provided to the implementing institution as per prevailing norms of SERB. Note: POWER Grant will be regulated through terms of reference conforming to SERB-CRG guidelines.

Benefit: The selected fellows will be paid a monthly fellowship amount equivalent to US $ 3000. 1. One-time Contingency/Preparatory allowances of ₹75,000/- to cover visa fees, airport transfer charges, insurance, etc., 1. Overseas Medical Insurance in India and abroad of ₹20,000/-. 1. The selected fellows will also be provided the shortest route economy class airfare from their place of work in India to the place of the host institute and back. Note 01: The maximum duration of the abroad visit is limited to 06 months. Note 02: For scientists/researchers in regular employment, rules governing payment of salary, leave, medical, gratuity, GPF pension, etc. of the organization/ institution/ university to which the fellow belongs would continue to be applicable as per their institutional norms. No liability on any of these will be borne by SERB.
SERB Board has launched a new ‘SERB Research Scientist (SRS) Scheme’ for the awardees of INSPIRE Faculty and Ramanujan Fellowships, who fail to secure regular positions after completion of the regular tenure of five years in the respective schemes.

Seva Bhoj Yojna
The scheme “Seva Bhoj Yojna” was launched by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and it has been made operational with effect from the 1st of August, 2018. The scheme shall be applicable within the territorial jurisdiction of India and will remain open from the 1st to 15th of every month.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹4,500/- is provided to women workers employed in Industrial and Commercial Establishments in the state of Haryana for the purchase of sewing machines for their domestic use.
Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹4,500/- is provided to women workers working in industrial and commercial establishments of Haryana to purchase sewing machines for their domestic use.
Shaadi Mubarak Scheme
In order to prevent child marriages and support marriage expense of financially distressed families, on 02nd October 2014, Government of Telangana (GoTS) introduced a welfare scheme called “Shaadi Mubarak’’, providing financial assistance for marriages of minority community girls.
Benefit: Under the Scheme, one-time financial assistance of ₹1,00,116 /- at the time of marriage shall be granted to every unmarried girl belonging to the minority community with effect from October 2, 2014 subject to the eligibility condition. 1. The financial assistance of ₹1,25,145/- is provided to the parents of disabled girls. Note: The "Shaadi Mubarak" is only a one-time financial assistance and can be availed only once in a lifetime.
Shagun Scheme (P.B.O.C.W.W.B)
The "Shagun Scheme'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides financial support for the marriage of up to two daughters of registered workmen, including daughters who are registered beneficiaries.
