The scheme aims to encourage meritorious students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University by awarding scholarships to those who secure the highest marks in the relevant course, class, or subject.

Benefit: Under this scheme, one student from each undergraduate and postgraduate class at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University is awarded a scholarship equal to the tuition fee of their respective class.

Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Ranichauri, are eligible for scholarships, which are awarded to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, market laborers, and their dependents to support their higher education in these fields.

National Jute Board Act, 2008 provides to “secure better working conditions and provisions and improve amenities and incentives for workers engaged in the jute industry.”

The State’s share of the scholarship is disbursed to the Institution (Sainik School Chhingchhip). The scholarship is available for only one year for studying in any class but is renewable as per Rules/Condition. For renewal, the scholarship is paid following the month up to which the same was paid in the previous year. Cadets are expected to use the sanctioned scholarship amounts to purchase necessary textbooks, stationery, and related items. Conditions The award is tenable from the stage it is given until the completion of the course. Continuation is subject to the student demonstrating satisfactory progress, maintaining good conduct, and ensuring regularity in attendance. The award will be discontinued if the student fails to secure annual promotion, unless unavoidable reasons are certified by the competent authority of the scheme. If a student repeats a class, they will not receive a scholarship for that specific class for the second or subsequent year. If a cadet is declared medically unfit by the appropriate medical authority for entry into the National Defence Academy, the scholarship awarded shall be discontinued from the date the cadet is declared unfit. The value of the scholarship may be reduced at the sanctioning authority's discretion if the Principal reports that any scholar is without textbooks or stationery. The scholarship may be cancelled, stopped, or further payments withheld if the student makes unsatisfactory progress or is guilty of misconduct, such as resorting to or participating in strikes or irregular attendance.

The scheme "Scholarship to Disabled Students" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department aims to provide financial assistance to students with disabilities. Through this scheme, annual scholarships are offered to support the education of eligible students from Class 1 onwards.

Benefit: Scholarship Assistance: ₹1,500/- per year for students with disabilities studying in Class 1st to 8th. ₹2,000/- to ₹4,500 per year for students studying in Class 9th and above.

Benefit: Financial assistance of up to ₹40,000/- per student is provided.

The scheme “Scholarship to Scheduled Castes Students Studying in Government ITI's” was launched by the Dept. of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana in the year 2017-18. This scheme is implemented through Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Haryana.

Benefit: The scholarship of ₹200/- per month will be given to the student of Scheduled Caste in each academic year. Under the scheme, ₹15/- per month as tuition fee will be reimbursed. Note 01: No scholarship will be given to failed students. Note 02: The scholarship will be given in two installments in each academic year. The first installment (50% amount) will be given after taking admission to Government ITI’s and the second installment (Remaining 50% of the amount) will be given subject to fulfillment of attendance criteria for appearing in the examination. Note 03: The payment of the scholarship will be made to students through their Aadhaar-linked bank account instead of cash payment.

Under this scheme, financial assistance in the form of scholarship shall be granted to the children/wards of workers who are registered under the CBOCWWB on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in 10th, 12th & Graduation.

Course of Study Group-B Diploma-level courses in Indian medicine, engineering, technology, architecture, and other vocational courses, as well as postgraduate courses in science subjects: Hostellers: ₹1,110/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹720/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-C Certificate courses in engineering, technology, architecture, medicine, and other vocational courses (minimum duration of one year): Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-D General courses up to graduate level: Hostellers: ₹804/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹420/- per month for 12 months. Postgraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, and other subjects: Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Conditions for Disbursement The scholarship amount will be reduced to 50% if a student fails the annual examination but continues studies, except in cases of medical grounds or natural calamities.

Class 9th to 10th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹1,620/- per Annum (55% to 60% Marks in Previous Class). ₹2,040/- per Annum (Above 60% Marks in Previous Class). Class 11th to 12th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹3,000/- per Annum (55% to 70% Marks in Previous Class). ₹4,500/- per Annum (Above 70% Marks in Previous Class). _The bank account should be in the name of the student (a joint account with a parent/guardian is permissible)._

Under the scheme, a monthly stipend/scholarship will be given to Scheduled Caste Category students who are studying professional courses in Government or Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

The scheme "Scholarships and Stipends" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to encourage and support national-level athletes by providing scholarships to medal winners and stipends to participants.

Benefit: Scholarships: ₹2,500/- per player is awarded to athletes who have won medals at the national level. - Stipends: ₹2,000/- per player is awarded to athletes who have participated at the national level, irrespective of winning.

The scheme aims to ensure the educational empowerment of OBC and EBC students. Through this scheme, fellowships and interest subsidies on overseas education loans are provided to eligible beneficiaries.

Benefit: The scheme provides 1,000 Junior Research Fellowships per year for eligible OBC students. Out of the total 1,000 slots, 750 fellowship slots are allocated for subjects covered under the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test – Junior Research Fellowship. In case hostel accommodation offered by the University/institution is refused, the student will forfeit his claim of HRA. Other facilities, such as medical facilities, leave, including maternity leave, will be governed as per the guidelines of the UGC in case of their fellowship programme.
