The scheme aims to encourage young talents in Goa to achieve the highest possible standard in fields of Art and Culture by providing financial support for training outside the State. Assistance is provided to eligible students for basic or advanced education in art.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Financial assistance is given to acquire basic or advanced education in any field of Art and Culture (like music, dance, theatre, fine arts, folk arts, photography, etc.) at State, National, and International levels. Maximum assistance up to ₹1,20,000/- is provided for acquiring education outside Goa or the actual cost of the education, whichever is less. Maximum assistance up to ₹3,00,000/- is provided for acquiring education outside India or the actual cost of the education, whichever is less. Disbursement The committee may scrutinize and decide upon the quantum of assistance, from case to case, depending upon the nature of training, reputation of the Institution/Guru, and eligibility of the applicant. The assistance shall be disbursed by the Director of Art and Culture only after obtaining Government approval for the names selected by the Sub-Committee. Conditions The student shall undergo training on full time or part time basis. The student must maintain 75 % attendance for the total course period or for one year period of the course (whichever is less). This shall not be applicable where there are regular examinations recognized by the University or Board or Government. The student can apply for assistance for a maximum of five years (initially for three years and upon review if showing progress, extended for two years). A review report of the student shall be taken every six months. The student shall be bound to present performance as and when asked by the Directorate of Art and Culture. The scholarship amount shall be recovered if the student fails to maintain 75% attendance (where applicable). The amount shall be recovered from the student if the course is not completed.

The "Scheme to Provide Electric Scooter to Disabled Person" provides financial assistance of up to ₹25,000 for the purchase of electric scooters to eligible persons with orthopedic disabilities.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Up to the limit of 50% of the basic cost of the electric scooter + 50% of the disability kit or ₹25,000/-.

The scheme aims to promote high-quality literary works for children by providing financial support to Gujarati authors for publishing original, unpublished children's books that contribute to cultural and moral development.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: For books up to 64 pages: Up to ₹5,000/-.- For books exceeding 64 pages: Up to ₹10,000/-. Note: Whichever is lower between actual expense and ceiling will be granted.

The Scheme Provides Financial Assistance in the form of a Grant-In-Aid to Bhajani/ Choir/ Cultural Group/ Institutions for the Purchase of Musical Instruments. The Scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Art and Culture.

Benefit: Lumpsum grants / financial assistance to the maximum extent of ₹ 15,000/- per Group/ Institution for the purchase of Musical Instruments only. NOTE: The Government / Department may restrict the number of groups/institutions in each category according to the availability of the funds.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to registered organizations, Government organizations, and institutions for running residential facilities or halfway homes for Persons with Disabilities. The scheme provides financial support in the form of operational grants.

Benefit: Operational Grant Maximum operational grant of ₹4,00,000/- per month. Payment to Medical Officer/Councilor/Therapist: ₹60,000/- per month.- Payment to team of Administrative Staff (Manager, Clerk, and six Attendants/Care takers/Aayas/Drivers): ₹1,34,000/- per month.- Administrative Expenses (Rent/Maintenance/Electricity/Water/Telephone, Mobile, Newspaper, etc.): ₹46,000/- per month.- Food Expenses (₹200/- per 20 inmates): ₹1,20,000/- per month.- Medical Expenses: ₹40,000/- per month. One-time Grant An additional one-time grant of ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) shall be sanctioned for the purchase of furniture, utensils, etc. Disbursement Mode of Grant: The operational grant is provided on a reimbursement basis.- Share of Cost: Based on the claim made by the grantee organization, 75% will be refunded by the department.- Frequency: The operational grant will be released in two installments in a year.- Installment Period: The six months period for calculating the installment will be reckoned from the month in which the sanction was issued.- Documentation: The maximum operational grant of ₹4,00,000/- per month will be sanctioned only on the production of supporting documents such as bills, vouchers, and receipts.- Second Installment Condition: The second installment will be released only upon submission of a Utilization Certificate as per FORM-12A of General Financial Rules Rule 2017.- One-time Grant Condition: The one-time grant of ₹50,000/- is sanctioned once in five years after following Codal formalities and Rules in force of the Government of Goa. Conditions _The grantee institution shall maintain separate accounts of the Grants received under the Scheme._ _The accounts shall always be open to a system of internal audit or concurrent audit._ _The accounts shall also be open to Audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India._ _The grantee institution shall maintain the stock register of the expenditure incurred out of Government grants received under this scheme._ _The grantee institution must maintain a separate register regarding the grants sanctioned, and an extract from this register shall be furnished to the Government annually with the Annual audited statements of accounts after the close of the financial year._ _The account of the Grantee Institution/Government Bodies/Organization in respect of this grant should be audited by an approved Auditor/Chartered Accountant immediately after the end of the financial year for which the grant is sanctioned._ _The accounts of the grants shall be maintained separately and properly from the institution's normal activities._ _The Audited statement of accounts showing the expenditure incurred by the Grantee Institution/Organization from the grants should be furnished to the Government as soon as possible after the close of the financial year._ _A certificate must be furnished from the Chartered Accountant/auditor confirming that the grant was utilized for the purpose for which it was sanctioned._ _The Grantee Institution must exercise reasonable economy and observe all financial rules issued by the Government from time to time while incurring the expenditure._ _No grant shall be allowed to be paid to any other institutions or voluntary organizations by the Grantee Institution/Organization out of this grant sanctioned by the Government._

"Scheme to Provide Financial Assistance to the Publishers for Publishing Books of Goan Authors" by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, has been designed to promote Goan publishers to provide them with financial support for the publication of books.

Benefit: Upto 300 books will be purchased, subject to the condition that the total amount should not exceed ₹ 50,000/-. NOTE: The publisher shall give a minimum 15% discount on the price of the book.

"Scheme to Provide Grant in Aid to Cultural Organization (Maintenance/ Regular Grants)" by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Govt. of Goa, aims to provide financial support to voluntary Cultural Organizations in order to promote cultural activities and to create and develop cultural talent in Goa.

Benefit: Grant-In-Aid in the form of reimbursement to the extent of 80% of the expenditure incurred by the institution for the last financial year, subject to the maximum ceiling given below - ₹ 10,000/- for Group ‘H’, ₹ 20,000/- for Group ‘G’ ₹ 35,000/- for Group ‘F’ ₹ 50,000/- for Group ‘E’ ₹ 75,000/- for Group ‘D’ ₹ 1,00,000 for Group ‘C’ ₹ 2,00,000 for Group ‘B’ ₹ 3,00,000 for Group ‘A’ NOTE 1: The institution shall bourne all the expenditure and conduct its activities from its own funds for the first year. NOTE 2: The applicant shall get the financial grant to the extent decided by the Department of Art & Culture based on the nature and scope of the cultural activities conducted by the institution.

The scheme aims to give financial support to institution(s)/individual(s) involved in long term projects in the field of Art and Culture. It provides a maximum grant of ₹5,00,000/- per annum to eligible organizations and individuals, while also encouraging young talent and offering scholarships.

Benefit: Financial Grant: Eligible institutions or individuals shall be entitled for a grant to the extent of 80% of the total expenditure involved.- Maximum Ceiling: The maximum financial grant limit provided under this scheme is ₹5,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Five Lakhs) per annum.- Support for Talent and Education: The scheme encourages young talents in the State to excel their talent to reach the highest possible standard/merit under the guidance of a renowned teacher/artist outside the State.- Scholarships: Financial support is given to students seeking to get basic or advanced education/training in any field of Art and Culture by way of scholarships.- Disbursement Conditions: The actual financial grant received shall be decided by the Sub-Committee/Department of Art and Culture/Government. This decision is based on the nature and scope of the project, the reputation of the institution, and taking into consideration the overall impact on the society.- Fund Restriction: The Department/Government may restrict the number of institutions according to the availability of funds.- Disbursement: The amount is disbursed to the eligible institution(s)/individual(s) in the form of a cheque, after the Director of Art and Culture obtains Government approval based on the Sub-Committee's recommendations.

"Scheme to Provide Grant to the Institutions for Long Term Project in the Field of Art and Culture (Sarjansheel Goa)" implemented by the by the Directorate of Art and Culture, provides financial support to the institutions/ individuals involved in long-term projects in the field Art & Culture.

Benefit: A grant to the extent of 80% of the total expenditure involved is subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹ 5,00,000 per annum. Number of Beneficiaries The Department/Government may restrict the number of institutions/individuals according to the availability of funds.

The scheme aims to support senior writers facing financial hardship by offering monthly assistance to those who have made notable contributions to Gujarati or associated language literature.

Benefit: Monthly Financial Support: Eligible elderly writers receive monthly financial assistance as specified by the authority.

The "Scheme to Provide Relief in Case of Death or Disability of Registered Building Workers" is a Welfare Scheme by the Andhra Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers LET&F (Labour) Dept. The scheme provides financial assistance to help mitigate the financial burden on the worker's family.

Benefit: Accidental Death: ₹5,00,000/- Permanent Disability: ₹5,00,000/- Natural Death Relief: ₹60,000/-
