The scheme aims to provide financial support by reimbursing tuition and compulsory fees for SC/ST/OBC students from low-income families (below ₹3,00,000/- per annum) studying in recognized schools in Delhi. Beneficiaries must meet academic and attendance criteria.

Benefit: Reimbursement Amount: Maximum reimbursement of ₹48,000/- or actual paid fees (whichever is less) covering tuition, lab, and library fees. Conditions for Disbursement Student must score 50% and above marks in the preceding year. Student must have at least 70% attendance in the preceding year. Mode of Disbursement: Direct transfer to the student’s bank account (joint account with parent/guardian allowed).

The scheme "Reimbursement/ Spot Exemption of Sales Tax on High-Speed Diesel Oil" under "Financial Assistance for Availing Subsidy Components for the Development of Marine Fisheries" introduced to reimburse the sales tax on high-speed diesel oil used by the registered mechanized boat operators.

Benefit: The prevailing sales tax on high-speed diesel oil consumed by a registered boat will be reimbursed/spot-exempted subject to a maximum of 15,000 liters per boat per annum, as may be revised by Government from time to time.

The scheme provides relief materials, which among other things include Feeding Charges, Subsidized Rice, Clothing Materials, Utensils, Transportation Charges (on arrival), Porterage and Transport (on repatriation), Cash Doles, Infrastructure Facilities (at camps), Electricity, Drinking Water, etc.

Benefit: (a) Food for Temporary Stay in Different Camps In Quarantine Camp refugees are provided cooked food @ ₹ 45/- per day per adult, and @ ₹ 30/- per day per child. Refugees in Special Camps are provided cooked food @ ₹ 70/- per day per adult. Clothing material is also provided. (b) Rice at a Subsidized Rate: Family Members: 01 Adults; Age: Above 8 years; Quantity of Rice: 400 grams daily Family Members: 02 Children; Age: Below 8 years; Quantity of Rice: 200 grams daily (c) Free Clothing Materials Gender: Male; Category: Adult; Items: Dhoti (2); Vests (2) Gender: Male; Category: Child; Items: Half Trousers (2); Inner Garments (Vests) (1); Half Sleeve Shirt (1) Gender: Female; Category: Adult; Items: Sari (2); Blouse (2); Skirt (1) Gender: Female; Category: Child; Items: Skirt (1); Blouse (1); Frock/Gown (1) Category: Every Family; Items: Towels (2) Category: Every Adult; Items: Mat (1) Category: Every Adult (Once in 2 years); Items: Blanket (1) NOTE: The above-listed materials are provided every year to all the refugees/refugee families in the camps free of cost except the blankets which are given once in two years. Capacity): 1 Large spoon: 2; Dining Plates: 2; Tumblers: 2 (e) Transportation Charges (on arrival) as per Approved Rates. (f) Porterage & Transport (on repatriation) as per Approved Rates. (g) Medical Assistance Refugees are given health check-ups & assistance upon arrival in Transit Camp. Medical assistance is rendered by Primary Health Centres/Government Hospitals (in Refugee Camps by the Government of Tamil Nadu). After an appropriate medical check-up, preventive medicine like inoculation for measles is administered, free of cost. (h) Cash Dole Assistance to Sri Lankan Refugees in Camps Family Members: Head of the Family; Cash doles at Present (₹): 400.00 Family Members: Other Adults; Cash doles at Present (₹): 288.00 Family Members: First Child; Cash doles at Present (₹): 180.00 Family Members: Other Children; Cash doles at Present (₹): 90.00 (i) Infrastructure Facilities at the Camps including Internal Roads, Electricity and Drinking Water. Temporary huts were constructed and remodelled to the size of 10x10 sq feet with the provision of basic amenities. (j) Vehicles and Petrol Four vehicles have been approved by MHA from time to time. Expenditure on petrol for these vehicles is also reimbursed by MHA. (k) Exit Permits The refugees, who are willing to go back to Sri Lanka or to any other country of their choice at their own cost, are issued with "Exit Permits" by the respective District Collectors. (l) Cooked Food While the refugees are in the quarantine camps under the supervision of the police department, cooked food is provided to the refugees every day (three times) at the rate of Rs 45/- per adult per day and Rs 30/- per child per day. (m) Security Multi-Colour Identity Cards are issued to every refugee above the age of 12 years to ensure their welfare and security. (n) Pregnancy Care Pregnant Sri Lankan Tamil women are given Rs.1,000/- per month during the eighth, ninth and tenth months of pregnancy and for the first three months after the delivery, totalling Rs. 6,000/- under Dr Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity Financial Assistance Scheme of the Government of Tamil Nadu. When the Sri Lankan Tamil refugee women are pregnant, they are administered tetanus injections by the nurses from the concerned Primary Health Centers (PHCs), after appropriate medical check-ups. Required medical counselling is provided to pregnant women every month, after appropriate medical check-ups. Pregnant women are provided with required vitamin tablets, milk, fruits and bread under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). Pregnant mothers can be admitted to the nearby PHC or hospital, free of cost, for child delivery. Following child delivery, the child’s birth certificate can be obtained through the hospital. Following the birth of a child, the details are furnished to the Village Administrative Officer and Special Revenue Inspector to record the same in the family card through which they can receive the cash doles immediately. Following the birth of a child, the nurses of the PHCs should continue to monitor the growth of the child and the mother’s health. The required nutritious food, vitamin tablets, milk, and fruits are given free of cost under the ICDS. Timely administration of polio drops, free of cost, to children is provided. (o) Education The refugee students studying upto 12th class in Government and Government-Aided schools are given free education, free notebooks, textbooks, free uniforms, free noon meals and a free bus pass to commute from the camp to the school. Students studying 11th class are given free bicycles. (p) Employment With a view to facilitating the refugees to earn their livelihood, they are permitted to leave the camps between 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. in search of jobs commensurate with their skills /qualifications (subject to the laws in force in this regard).

"Relief During Natural Calamities Such as Cyclone, Flood or Fire" is a Welfare Scheme by the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund of the Dept of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry. Through this scheme, up to ₹40,000/- is provided to the registered ESM / Widows/Dependents of ESM as a relief during natural calamities.

Benefit: The actual cost of damage or a maximum of ₹40,000/- is provided as a relief during natural calamities such as cyclone, flood or fire. The amount, as decided by the Management Committee, is credited to the beneficiary’s Bank Account through RTGS/ NEFT.

The "Relief to the Unregistered Workers" scheme was launched by the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LET&F Dept. Telangana aimed to provide financial assistance to the dependents of unregistered building & construction workers who die in accidents at construction sites.

Benefit: Compensation for Deceased Workers: Financial Assistance of ₹50,000/- to the dependents of unregistered workers who die in accidents at construction sites or related projects. Relief for Permanent Disabilities: ₹20,000/- is provided for cases of permanent disability where the disability is 50% or above. ₹10,000/- is provided for cases of permanent partial disability where the disability is below 50%.

The Board provides financial assistance of ₹ 2,000/- to the registered worker as a relief during a natural calamity/pandemic. The amount is credited through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the bank account of the registered construction worker. The applications are accepted offline.

The scheme aims to make younger generation aware of the contribution and sacrifices of great tiatr personalities of the past. It provides collaboration and financial assistance to produce special dedicated programmes on late artistes.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Tiatr Academy of Goa will provide financial assistance as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa for each show. Infrastructure Support: Provision of auditorium/hall to stage the programme. Village Performances: Financial assistance as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa for erecting temporary pandal, providing stage, sound, etc. for village performances. Additional Shows: Option for additional 2 shows in villages at an amount as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa plus additional amount as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa for Pandal/Hall/Auditorium including Stage, Sound, etc. Documentation: Tiatr Academy of Goa will document the programme and preserve it at Tiatr Academy of Goa's library. Marketing Materials: Provision of banner for tiatr performances and logo for musical shows. Number of Shows: Maximum of 4 shows at different places including 1 show at the area of residence. _ Tiatr Academy of Goa has no objection if sponsorship is taken by the producer from other sources._ Conditions _All shows must be shown to the public free without charging any tickets._ _Programme duration should be at least 2 hours for musical show and 3 hours for tiatr._ _Display Tiatr Academy of Goa banner compulsorily on front side wing of stage for tiatr or minimum size of 6ft. x 10ft. backdrop with Tiatr Academy of Goa logo for musical show._ _Return banner to Tiatr Academy of Goa after all shows are staged._

The scheme aims to provide rental housing to individuals and families from lower and middle-income groups, address housing shortages, prevent unauthorized settlements, and promote orderly urban development. It benefits Grade Third and Grade Fourth employees and eligible non-government individuals.

Benefit: Rental Housing Provision: Provides rental housing to needy people, particularly in urban and semi-urban areas.- Employment-based Accommodation: Offers accommodation specifically for Grade Third and Grade Fourth government or semi-government employees.- Non-government Eligibility: Benefits eligible non-government individuals without property in the area.- Urban Development: Helps reduce unauthorized settlements by offering planned housing.- Transparent Allocation: Ensures transparent allotment through a draw-of-lots system as per Honourable Gauhati High Court directions.- Geographic Coverage: Supports urban and semi-urban housing needs across Assam with 2,322 rental flats constructed, of which 1,858 are located in greater Guwahati.- Urban Planning Support: Contributes to urban planning and stability by managing migration and housing demand.- Housing Categories: Housing types include Middle Income Group, Lower Income Group, and Economically Weaker Section categories. Conditions Payment of rent and security deposit as per allotment order. Compliance with all terms and conditions outlined under Section 15(1) of the Assam State Housing Board Rules, 1976.

Through the scheme “Replanting & Rejuvenation of Coconut Garden (R&R)" by the Coconut Development Board, the coconut farmers are provided financial assistance through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode for the cutting & removal, replanting, and for integrated management practices.

Benefit: Cutting & Removal @ ₹ 1,000/‐ per palm subject to a maximum of ₹ 32,000/ per hectare. - Assistance for Replanting @ ₹ 40 per seedling subject to a maximum of ₹ 4,000.- Integrated Management Practices @ ₹ 17,500/‐ per hectare in two annual installments, for upto 4 hectares per farmer.- Seasonality: Annually.

The scheme is implemented by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, offers financial support for PhD research work to SC/ST students. Eligible students receive ₹16,000/- per month, totaling ₹1,92,000/- per year, which is directly transferred to their bank accounts.

Benefit: Under this scheme, SC/ST students registered for research (PhD) work at any university in India, following an interview with the Research Degree Committee, will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹16,000/-, totaling ₹1,92,000/- per year. - The scholarship is provided for a maximum period of 3 years, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria.

The scheme aims to encourage scientific research to address the state’s problems by providing grants and technical support to scientists, researchers, and academic institutions across the state.

Benefit: Grants are provided to promote research aimed at addressing various problems in the interest of the state through scientific research. - Academic scientists from government or private colleges/universities/research institutes/technical institutions, and research scholars across the state are eligible to participate.

The scheme aims to solve water sector problems through effective research and development. It provides Grants-in-Aid to academicians, universities, laboratories, government departments, and Non-Governmental Organizations to fund basic, applied, and action research projects.

Benefit: The scheme provides Grants-in-Aid for Basic Research, Applied Research, and Action Research. The scheme provides remuneration and emoluments for research personnel assisting the investigators. The revised monthly emoluments are ₹25,000/- for a Junior Research Fellow, ₹28,000/- for a Senior Research Fellow, and ₹36,000/- to ₹40,000/- for Research Associates across different levels. The grant funds the cost of conducting experiments, including consumables, wages for full-time non-research personnel, and third-party services like typing and lab analysis. The grant provides travel expenses connected with the research, including one long-distance journey by one person once a year for attending a research and development session or committee meeting. The scheme provides infrastructure funding for the purchase of equipment of a permanent nature, software, and necessary meteorological or satellite data. The scheme provides overhead charges to the host institute for facilities like infrastructure, staff, water, electricity, and communication. For projects costing up to ₹1,00,00,000/-, overhead charges are provided at 10% of the total cost for educational institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations, and at 8% for laboratories and institutions under Central Government Departments. The scheme provides a contingency budget provision up to 5% of the total cost or ₹1,00,00,000/- (whichever is less) for unforeseen situations. Funds are provided by direct transfer of money into the bank account of the appropriate authority in the institute. The funds are released in installments commensurate with the progress of the work and actual requirements during the financial year. Conditions The beneficiary institute must provide full infrastructural facilities by way of accommodation, water, electricity, and communication for the smooth implementation of the project. Non-Governmental Organizations and Private Institutions must bear 50% of the equipment cost from their own resources. The overhead expenses shall actually be paid to the institute by the Ministry Of Water Resources only after the completion of the research scheme and the acceptance of the final report. The Principal Investigator must submit an annual progress report indicating milestones achieved and a utilization certificate to the concerned Indian National Committee on or before the 30th of June every year to receive further installments. The Principal Investigator must refund any unspent balance or unused funds along with interest accrued to the Pay and Accounts Office via a crossed demand draft after the completion of the scheme.

The scheme aims to provide research assistantship to undergraduate and postgraduate research scholars to support their academic and research activities.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to undergraduate and postgraduate researchers in the form of research assistantships.

The Research Associates (RAs) of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) in India are individuals who engage in research work under the DBT-Research Associateship Program in Biotechnology and its was started in 1999.

Benefit: Fellowship amount: The Research Associateship is tenable for a period of 2 yrs. In exceptional cases, depending upon the progress of the research and overall importance of the project, it may be extended upto 5 yrs. Each fellow is entitled to a monthly stipend in the range of ₹36,000-40,000/- (₹ 28,000/- for those who are yet to be awarded the Ph.D/M.D./M.S. degree) plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per norms. A research contingency grant of ₹50,000/- per annum is also provided.

The scheme aims to support the Scheduled Tribe candidates from Scheduled Areas and the Saharia Area of Rajasthan to register themselves as research scholars with all recognized Central/State/Deemed/Private University located in any part of India for pursuing Ph.D. Programme.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - The selected scholar shall be paid @ ₹15,000/- per month. - A contingency grant of ₹40,000/- shall be given to the candidate for meeting the recurring expenditure viz. books/ Journals/Traveling/Stationery etc. Tenure: The tenure of the scholarship shall be for a period of maximum five years from the date of sanction from the Tribal Research Institute or completion of Ph.D. whichever is earlier. Extension of Fellowship Term & Final Payments: The scholarship term shall not be extended under any circumstances. If, per chance, the candidate fails to complete his/her Ph.D work within the period of five years, the final installment of scholarship (equivalent to six month and last installment of contingency) shall be withheld until the Ph.D. is awarded to the candidate.

The scheme "Research Grant for In-Service Faculty Members" was introduced by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Higher Education (DoHE). The objective of this research grant is to provide opportunities to regularly appointed faculty members of Universities/ Institutes/ Colleges.

Benefit: Tenure: 2 years. Slots: 200 or as may be decided by the Commission Financial Assistance: 1. The quantum of support under the scheme is ₹ 10,00,000. 1. The grant can be utilized for purchasing items like minor equipment, consumables, contingencies, fieldwork, travel, etc. 1. The grant cannot be used for international travel, purchasing furniture items, or for appointing a project assistant or research fellow. 1. The quantum of funds under these heads can be decided by the recipient depending on his / her needs. 1. The items/equipment purchased from this grant shall be the property of the University. Release of Grants: The grant will be released in 3 installments to the university. 1. Initially, 50% of the grant will be released on receipt of the joining report ([Annexure-I](https://frg.ugc.ac.in/download/Guidelines-In%20service%20faculty.pdf)). 1. The next installment of 25% of the research grant shall be paid on submission of the utilization certificate ([_Annexure-II_](https://frg.ugc.ac.in/download/Guidelines-In%20service%20faculty.pdf)) of the first installment. 1. The final installment of 25% of the research grant shall be released on a reimbursement basis on submitting the claims and utilization certificate of the second installment. However, the tenure to utilize the whole grant shall be 2 years from the release of the first installment of the research grant.

The scheme is implemented by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, aims to provide financial support for PhD research to differently-abled students. Eligible candidates receive ₹16,000/- per month, which is directly transferred to their bank accounts.

Benefit: Under this scheme, differently-abled students who are registered for PhD research at any university in India receive a monthly scholarship of ₹16,000/-, totaling ₹1,92,000/- per year.

The scheme aims to promote Research Studies, Seminars, and Travel Grants Assistance in official statistics. It provides financial assistance and data support to eligible research institutions/organizations and Central Government officials to bridge data gaps.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Financial assistance for Research Studies/Surveys would be up to a maximum of ₹50,00,000/-. In exceptional cases, the limit for Research Studies/Surveys could be enhanced up to ₹1,00,00,000/- with the approval of the Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). The quantum of financial assistance for National Seminars/Workshops/Conferences will be maximum ₹10,00,000/-. The quantum of financial assistance for International Seminars/Workshops/Conferences will be maximum ₹20,00,000/-. Financial assistance is provided towards the travel cost and related expenditures for presentation of accepted research papers in Theoretical/Applied Statistics in International Conferences/Seminars/Workshops, etc., held outside India. Such assistance includes airfare, registration fee, airport tax, visa fee, and per diem, as per the Government rules in force. Conditions Research Studies/Surveys: The assistance will be released in three installments in the proportion of 40:40:20. Seminars/Workshops/Conferences: The amount will be released in two installments: the First installment of 50% before/during the Seminars/Workshops/Conferences after approval, and the remaining 50% based on actual expenditure as reimbursement. Travel Grants Assistance: The return air ticket (to and from) of a national carrier, i.e., Air India, will be provided by the shortest air route for the economy class. Financial assistance towards travel cost will cover all expenditures on travel between the place of work or place of residence and the airport in India, and between the airport abroad and the venue of the conference. _Release of assistance is linked to specific milestones to be achieved as per the time schedule indicated in the proposal and is aligned to the duration of the project._

The scheme "Reservoir Fisheries Development Scheme" by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Jharkhand, enhances fish production and livelihood opportunities for registered fisheries cooperatives through the provision of fish fingerlings, boats, and nets.

Benefit: Supply of 530 lakh fish fingerlings annually to various reservoirs. Subsidy of ₹1,000/- or 50% of the cost per member for fishing nets (whichever is lower). Provision of ₹10,000/- or 50% of the cost for one boat per cooperative society (whichever is lower). Encouragement for cage culture in water bodies. Enhanced fish production in 1,06,000 hectares of water bodies. Livelihood support for members of registered fisheries cooperative societies. Focused implementation in mining-affected water bodies.

The "Residential School for Blinds" have been established by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir for the protection, welfare, and education of the Blind. The school is located at Roop Nagar, near Fire Brigade Office, Muthi, Jammu, 180013. The intake capacity is 50 inmates.

Benefit: The inmates are provided with free education, overall development, and vocational training for which they are found fit. The inmates are provided with clothing, free boarding and lodging, and pocket money @ ₹ 500/- per inmate per month. The inmates are given lessons in music. The inmates are retained in the institution till graduation or till attaining 25 years of age, whichever is earlier.
