The scheme aims to promote the development of modern post-harvest infrastructure by supporting farmers & entrepreneurs in setting up facilities such as pack houses, pre-cooling units, cold rooms, cold storage units, etc., thereby reducing post-harvest losses & marketability of horticultural produce.
Benefit: For setting up units such as Pack Houses (9 m / 6 m), Pre-Cooling Units (6 MT capacity), Mobile Pre-Cooling Units (5 MT capacity), Cold Rooms (30 MT capacity), Cold Storage Units, Refer Vans/Containers (6 MT capacity), and Ripening Chambers (300 MT capacity), a subsidy of 35% to 50% is provided through a bank-linked, loan-based subsidy mechanism.

There is a fee ceiling of ₹1,00,000/- per annum per student for all other courses in private sector institutes. Conditions for Availment and Continuation The continuous disbursement of the scholarship is strictly dependent on the satisfactory academic progress, good conduct, and regularity in attendance of the enrolled scholars. The scholarship will be immediately cancelled or withheld if the student resorts to strikes or maintains irregular attendance without formal permission from the institution authorities. The scholarship will not be renewed if the student fails in a particular academic year, and the benefits will be paused until the student clears that class and gets promoted to the next class.

The Government of Maharashtra has introduced a scheme namely “Post-Matric Scholarship to VJNT students” to encourage the students of the Vimukta Jatis & Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) to undergo Post-Matric Courses.

Postmatric Scholarship

The objective of this scheme is to increase the mobility of all eligible PwDs of the state by providing them artificial limbs/assistive devices. The scheme provides artificial limbs/assistive devices worth up to ₹6,900/- to PwDs of 40% or more, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.
Benefit: Under this scheme, artificial limbs/assistive devices worth up to ₹6,900/- are provided to persons with disabilities.
Poultry Farming Scheme (HSFDC)

Power Subsidy Scheme
Launched in 2018, the objective and the scope of the "Power Subsidy Scheme" of the Dept of IT, Govt of Goa, is to provide Power Subsidy to the eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. All the New and Existing Units having their operations in Goa are eligible for this scheme.
Benefit: 20% subsidy on power bills (on the power charges, excluding any duty and taxes, but not on the total bill), subject to a maximum of ₹ 5,00,000 per annum per Unit whichever is lower. The subsidy will be provided for a period of 3 years from the date of commencement of operations or from the date of notification of this policy whichever is later. NOTE 1: The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation. No Promissory Estoppel shall be applicable if benefits are discontinued in case the allocation is exceeded.
