Benefit: A maximum project cost of ₹1.5 Crores for a 100-seater cinema theatre and INR 3 Crores for a 200-seater cinema theatre will be accepted under this scheme.

The scheme promotes alternative tourism and supports rural and eco-tourism in the state. It encourages entrepreneurship by providing financial assistance for operating motorcaravans and aims to create employment opportunities while offering unique travel experiences across Meghalaya.

Benefit: Down Payment/Margin Money Support: Total down payment will be 50% of the price of the vehicle. Of this: 5% of the caravan price is to be paid by the entrepreneur to the bank. 45% of the caravan price will be paid by the Government of Meghalaya to the entrepreneur through the bank. EMI Support: To reduce the operational cost burden in the first year, the Government of Meghalaya will pay 5% of the vehicle cost, distributed equally over twelve months, as EMI co-payment. Additional Support Vehicles will be installed with GPS devices with a 5-year warranty, the cost of which will be borne by the government (one-time only). Branding cost of the vehicle will be borne by the entrepreneur and included in the total project cost. Maximum Government Support: Maximum support will be 50% of the project cost or ₹ 25,00,000, whichever is lower. Vehicle permit costs will be borne by the entrepreneur.

The scheme aims to promote entrepreneurship in sericulture and weaving by providing financial support. It also focuses on strengthening Eri and Muga silk production and promoting Meghalaya’s yarn and fabric in national and global markets.

Meghalaya Tourism Development and Investment Promotion Scheme 2012 started on 20th Jan 2012 under the Tourism Department sponsored by the state to assist in the creation of tourism infrastructure in the form of homestays and resorts

Benefit: To encourage public participation in the tourism sector, homestay accommodation would be given an incentive as follows:- 1) Assistance of 30% of the project cost limiting the project cost to a maximum of Rs 16.00 Lakhs 2) The maximum number of rooms that can be constructed under this scheme will be limited to 4 ( four) rooms 3) Each room should necessarily be having a minimum area of approximately 15 sq. m 4) Each room should consist of a bedroom and an attached toilet with modern fittings and a walk-in closet. 5) Entrepreneur’s contribution would amount to 2% of the project cost To encourage private participation in the construction of such resorts incentives would be given to entrepreneurs as follows :- 1) Assistance of 30% of the project cost limiting the project cost to Rs 1.00 Crores 2) The resorts should consist of minimum 10 ( ten) numbers of rooms 3) Each Cottage should have a minimum plinth area of 24 sq m 4) Should have spaces for central reception area with lobby, restaurant, kitchen etc having a built up area of 240 sq m approximately. 5) Entrepreneur’s contribution would amount to 2% of the project cost

In the scheme "Mentally Retarded Children Benefit" by the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, an amount of ₹20,000/- per annum is provided to the registered workers to take care of their mentally retarded/disabled children.

The "Mentally Retarded Children Benefit Scheme'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides financial assistance for the care of mentally retarded children (son/daughter) of construction workers.

Benefit: Financial Coverage: ₹20,000/- Per Year.

In the "Merit Awards" scheme, awards are given to the students with disability who rank 1st, 2nd, and 3rd among disabled students in the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) and Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) in their respective divisional boards of education.

Benefit: The quantum of the award is ₹1,000/- cash amount, certificate. The beneficiary is also provided travel expenses to attend the place of the award, and felicitation up to an amount ₹100/- per student.

The objective of this scheme is to motivate students by giving Merit Based Award on the benchmark of performance and to provide financial incentives to high-performing students who are economically weak. The scheme aims to increase the representation of the ST Community in the High-Rank Holders.

Benefit: Felicitation of Rank Holders Students - ₹ 20,000/- to the First Five Rank Holders (separately for all the streams of Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational). A certificate of Appreciation will be given at the time of felicitation in the public function. Merit-Based Awards - ₹ 5,000 awarded to the students who have scored 50% to 59.99% marks. ₹ 8,000/- awarded to the students who have scored 60% to 60.99% marks. ₹ 10,000/- awarded to the students who have scored 70% to 74.99% marks. ₹ 15,000/- awarded to the students who have scored 75% & above marks.

"Merit Based Scholarship Scheme for Dhangar Students" by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa aims to motivate students by providing merit-based awards and financial incentives (ranging from ₹5,000/- to ₹20,000/-) to high-performing students who are economically weak.

Benefit: Benefits The extent of reimbursement will be 100% tuition fee of the meritorious students belonging to economically weaker section i.e. wards of parent/s who are beneficiaries and possess relevant cards issued under the National Food Security Scheme 50% of the tuition fee to meritorious students having annual family income.

"Merit cum Means Scholarship: Engineering University" is a scholarship scheme by the Technical Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. The scheme provides ₹1,000/- per month to eligible students for pursuing education from recognized engineering universities in Chhattisgarh.

Benefit: Scholarship of ₹1,000/- per month.

"Merit cum Means Scholarship: Polytechnic Institutions" is a scholarship scheme by the Technical Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. The scheme provides ₹600/- per month to eligible students for pursuing education from recognized Polytechnic Institutions in Chhattisgarh.

Benefit: Scholarship of ₹600/- per month.

The scheme aims to assist the units of PIPDIC whose loan accounts are classified as Standard Assets continuously for 3 years. The assistance is provided for construction of additional building, purchase of additional machineries & equipments essential for expansion /modernisation / diversification.

Benefit: Loan Limit: Maximum amount of loan shall be the equal amount paid by the unit. Interest Concession: 1% less than the normal rate of interest.

The scheme aims to recognize and support academically outstanding undergraduate students by providing monthly financial assistance of ₹800/- in the form of scholarships to students in their 3rd year of Medical and 4th year of Veterinary undergraduate (UG) programs.

Benefit: Rate of Scholarship: ₹800/- per month.

The scheme provides ₹1000/- per month to eligible students for pursuing B.E. from a recognized engineering college in Chhattisgarh. The applicants can either be students who have passed their 10th and 12th standard examinations, or Diploma holders newly admitted to the second year of B.E.

Benefit: For studying in the first year of the B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) program: ₹1,000/- per month. For students newly admitted to the second year of B.E. through lateral entry: ₹1,000/- per month.
