The policy aims to promote the growth of IT, ITES, Internet Service Provider, and Telecom Service Provider industries in Uttarakhand by supporting startups, and creating employment opportunities for local youth through policy incentives and initiatives.

Benefit: Under the IT Policy, the focus is on promoting the IT and IT Enabled Services (ITES) sectors, as well as the Internet Service Provider and Telecom Service Provider industries in the state, by encouraging investment through various beneficial schemes and policy incentives offered by the Industries Department.

IT Saksham Yuva Scheme

State · Haryana

The Haryana Government is to provide employment opportunities to youths (graduate/post-graduate applicants) from engineering and IT backgrounds who shall undertake the Haryana IT Program (specially designed short-term courses) for the duration of a minimum of 3 months offered.

Benefit: Employment opportunities for unemployed youths. Provides digital literacy and IT-related skills to improve employability. Eligible candidates may receive an unemployment allowance. Entrepreneurial/Startup support after successful completion of employment tenure of one year. The eligible candidates who cleared/passed the exam will be given remuneration/allowance of ₹ 20,000/- pm (for first 6 months) / ₹ 25,000/- (7th month onwards). Note:- However, if the candidate has cleared/ passed the assessment test and is awaiting deployment, the unemployment allowances of ₹ 10,000/- pm will be paid by the CRID.

The “J.C. Bose fellowship” is awarded to active scientists in recognition of their outstanding performance. The fellowship is scientist-specific and very selective.

The scheme “Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana” was launched by the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, Government of NCT of Delhi vide Cabinet Decision No.2526 Dated 12-12-2017.

Benefit: A monthly stipend of ₹2500/- per student will be paid for local students for attending the coaching classes. 1. Under the scheme, 75% of the admissible coaching fee amount is to be provided by the Government and the remaining 25% is to be borne by the students. 1. In case of students having a total family income of up to ₹2.00 lacs, a full admissible coaching fee is to be provided by the Govt. Note 01: The institute would have to pay a stipend to each student on a monthly basis through PFMS/ ECS or cheque. Cash payment would not be allowed. Note 02: Benefits under the scheme can be availed by a particular student not more than twice, irrespective of the number of chances; he/she may be entitled to in a particular competitive examination. However, only 50 % of the admissible coaching fee is to be provided by the Govt. for students who avail of 2nd time coaching facility under the scheme. The coaching institution will also be required to take an undertaking from the students that they have not taken benefit more than twice under the scheme.

“Jai Johar (Old Age Pension)” is a Social Security Scheme by the Tribal Development Dept, Govt of West Bengal. The scheme is aimed at the ST residents of West Bengal of the age of 60 years and above. A monthly pension of ₹ 1,000/- is transferred to the individual bank account of the beneficiary.

Jal Jeevan Mission, is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India.

Benefit: Functional household tap connection(FHTC) to households, Schools, Anganwadi centres, GP buildings, Health centres, wellness centres and community buildings. (Priority in quality affected areas, villages in drought prone and desert areas) The scheme shall provide FHTC in every household with three delivery points (taps), viz. kitchen, washing & bathing area and toilet, to keep water clean and prevent misuse.
