Launched on 15th August 1995, the scheme "National Social Assistance Programme" is a welfare scheme by the Social Welfare Department, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. It provides monthly financial aid of ₹1,000/- to widows aged 40 years and above who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) households.

The scheme aims to promote academic excellence among girl students by providing one-time financial rewards to those securing the first position in Class 8th, 10th, and 12th examinations, along with vocational & Swami Vivekanand Government Model Schools achievers at the district and state levels.

Benefit: The scheme provides the following one-time financial rewards to the girl students: Class 8 Girl Students: - ₹40,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). Class 10 Girl Students: - ₹75,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). Class 12 Girl Students (Arts, Science, and Commerce streams – considered separately): - ₹1,00,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). - A Scooty is also provided to all awardees of Class 12. Vocational Education (From 2021–22): - Girls from the above categories who secure first position at the state level in vocational exams are also awarded. Swami Vivekanand Government Model Schools (From 2021–22): - Top 8 girls each from Class 10 and Class 12 who score 9 CGPA or more are awarded at the state level.

INDIRAMMA Widow Pension (Rural)

"INDIRAMMA Weavers Pension (Rural)" scheme aims to disburse monthly pensions to widows, irrespective of their age. To be eligible, they should be from a BPL family, be a resident of the district, and not be covered under any other Pension Scheme.

Benefit: Pension Amount: The scale of benefit under the pension will be notified by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mode of Disbursement: The Panchayat Secretary disburses the pension to the eligible citizens, in the presence of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Members and the Office Bearers of Village Organization. Time of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed on the first date of every month.

INDIRAMMA Widow Pension (Urban)

"INDIRAMMA Widow Pension (Urban)" scheme aims to provide monthly pensions to widows irrespective of their age. To be eligible, they should be from a BPL family, be a resident of a district of Andhra Pradesh, and not be covered under any other Pension Scheme.

Benefit: Pension Amount: The scale of benefit under the pension will be notified by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mode of Disbursement: The Bill Collector disburses the pension to the eligible individuals in the presence of Ward members and office bearers of DWCUA. Benefit: Financial Assistance: For economically viable projects, the total cost of which should not exceed ₹1,50,000/-. Subsidy: 25% (subject to a maximum of ₹10,000/-) for other categories. 25% (subject to a maximum of ₹25,000/-) for Scheduled Caste (SC) Categories. Earlier, the subsidy was only 10% (subject to a maximum of ₹5,000/-) for all categories. Beneficiary Share: 10% of the project cost. Balance Loan Amount: Provided by commercial/nationalised banks.

Benefit: For Indian National: 1. Fellowship Euros 2000/- per month along with miscellaneous allowances. 1. To and Fro International travel between India and France. For French National: 1. Fellowship ₹90,000/- per month along with miscellaneous allowances. 1. To and Fro International travel between France and India.

This programme will encourage women candidates to work with the Indian/French scientific communities with an aim to accelerate their talented instincts towards carrying out advanced studies and research in the frontier areas of Science & Technology.

Benefit: Return airfare (economy class), accommodation & per diem allowances, local travel in India/France, airport transfer, insurance, and visa charges shall be given to the selected candidates.

Note: Mess charges are not included as part of the accommodation and are to be borne by the intern availing the hostel facility
