Launched on 15th August 1995, the scheme "National Social Assistance Programme" is a welfare scheme by the Social Welfare Department, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. It provides monthly financial aid of ₹1,000/- to widows aged 40 years and above who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) households.

Benefit: The widow will receive a monthly pension of ₹1,000/-.

"Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (Maharashtra)" is a scheme by the Social Justice & Special Assistance Dept, Govt of Maharashtra. In this scheme, widows aged 40 to 79 years who are from a BPL family receive a pension of ₹1500/- per month.

Benefit: A pension of ₹1500 per month is given to each beneficiary. NOTE: ₹300/- per month from the central government and ₹1200/- per month under the state-sponsored Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana.

"Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)" provides a pension of ₹300/- per month to widows aged 40 years and above. After attaining the age of 80 years, the pension amount increases to ₹500/- per month.

Benefit: Pension of ₹300/- per month for widows aged 40 to 79 years. Pension of ₹500/- per month for widows aged 80 years and above.

Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹400/- is provided to widows in the age group of 40 to 79 years who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families to support them financially. This scheme is centrally sponsored.

Benefit: Under this scheme, eligible widows will receive a monthly pension of ₹400/-. Note: The pension amount is being paid to the beneficiaries under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) process. In this process, the pension amount is paid directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries through PFMS from the state level on the basis of the account number provided by the beneficiaries.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹500/- is provided to widows aged 40 to 79 years who are living Below the Poverty Line (BPL) to support them in living a respectful life. This scheme is centrally sponsored.

Benefit: Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive a monthly pension of ₹500/-, (Central contribution- ₹300/-, State Contribution- ₹200/-).

The Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme is being operated to provide financial support to widowed women living below the poverty line.

Benefit: The beneficiary will get a monthly pension of ₹ 600/-.

The "Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Samman Nidhi Yojana" is an initiative by the Himachal Pradesh government. The scheme recognizes the significant contributions of women in household work, cultural preservation, and family economy by providing a monthly assistance.

Benefit: Financial Assistance of ₹1500/- per month.

The objective of Indira Mahila Shakti Prashikshan Evam Kaushal Sanvardhan Yojna is to provide empowerment to the girls and women of the state in the field of computers by providing free computer courses to them.

Benefit: Free basic computer training for women and girls, general information about MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, email, etc. is given. Training will be given through RKCL ( Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited).

The Indira Mahila Shakti Prashikshan Evam Koshal Sanvardhan Yojana, offered by the Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), provides free training in spoken English and personality development for women and girls.

Benefit: RKCL( Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited), free spoken English and personality development training is given to women and girls.

The scheme aims to promote academic excellence among girl students by providing one-time financial rewards to those securing the first position in Class 8th, 10th, and 12th examinations, along with vocational & Swami Vivekanand Government Model Schools achievers at the district and state levels.

Benefit: The scheme provides the following one-time financial rewards to the girl students: Class 8 Girl Students: - ₹40,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). Class 10 Girl Students: - ₹75,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). Class 12 Girl Students (Arts, Science, and Commerce streams – considered separately): - ₹1,00,000/- cash prize (Who secure first position at the district or state level). - A Scooty is also provided to all awardees of Class 12. Vocational Education (From 2021–22): - Girls from the above categories who secure first position at the state level in vocational exams are also awarded. Swami Vivekanand Government Model Schools (From 2021–22): - Top 8 girls each from Class 10 and Class 12 who score 9 CGPA or more are awarded at the state level.

"INDIRAMMA Weavers Pension (Rural)" scheme aims to disburse monthly pensions to widows, irrespective of their age. To be eligible, they should be from a BPL family, be a resident of the district, and not be covered under any other Pension Scheme.

Benefit: Pension Amount: The scale of benefit under the pension will be notified by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mode of Disbursement: The Panchayat Secretary disburses the pension to the eligible citizens, in the presence of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Members and the Office Bearers of Village Organization. Time of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed on the first date of every month.

"INDIRAMMA Widow Pension (Urban)" scheme aims to provide monthly pensions to widows irrespective of their age. To be eligible, they should be from a BPL family, be a resident of a district of Andhra Pradesh, and not be covered under any other Pension Scheme.

Benefit: Pension Amount: The scale of benefit under the pension will be notified by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mode of Disbursement: The Bill Collector disburses the pension to the eligible individuals in the presence of Ward members and office bearers of DWCUA. Time of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed on the first date of every month.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to women for economically viable projects. Through this scheme, subsidies and loans are provided to eligible women for projects costing.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: For economically viable projects, the total cost of which should not exceed ₹1,50,000/-. Subsidy: 25% (subject to a maximum of ₹10,000/-) for other categories. 25% (subject to a maximum of ₹25,000/-) for Scheduled Caste (SC) Categories. Earlier, the subsidy was only 10% (subject to a maximum of ₹5,000/-) for all categories. Beneficiary Share: 10% of the project cost. Balance Loan Amount: Provided by commercial/nationalised banks.

This programme will provide a platform for women candidates to engage & work with Indian/French scientific communities with an aim to accelerate their talented instincts towards carrying out advanced studies and research in the frontier areas of Science & Technology.

Benefit: For Indian National: 1. Fellowship Euros 2000/- per month along with miscellaneous allowances. 1. To and Fro International travel between India and France. For French National: 1. Fellowship ₹90,000/- per month along with miscellaneous allowances. 1. To and Fro International travel between France and India.

This programme will encourage women candidates to work with the Indian/French scientific communities with an aim to accelerate their talented instincts towards carrying out advanced studies and research in the frontier areas of Science & Technology.

Benefit: Return airfare (economy class), accommodation & per diem allowances, local travel in India/France, airport transfer, insurance, and visa charges shall be given to the selected candidates.

Under this scheme, tribal women beneficiaries are provided with milch cattle, dairy equipment, and financial assistance of up to ₹90,000 per unit.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Structure: Total unit cost: ₹90,000 GTDC Loan (Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation): ₹29,000 Government of India Subsidy: ₹29,000 State Government Assistance: ₹29,000 Beneficiary Contribution: ₹3,000 Milch cattle and dairy equipment provided to tribal women beneficiaries.

ISSS (Integrated Social Security Scheme) is a State Sponsored Scheme by the Social Welfare Department of the Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir where financial assistance is provided to Old Age Persons, Widows, Divorcees, Women in Distress, Transgenders, and Physically Handicapped Persons.

Benefit: A pension of ₹1,000 per pensioner per month is deposited directly into their Bank Account through DBT mode.

The scheme is implemented by the Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh. Under this scheme, a financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per month is provided as a pension to destitute widows, divorced, or deserted women with no source of income.

Benefit: Amount of financial assistance/pension: ₹1,000/- per month per beneficiary

The Ministry of Women and Child Development launched the Internship Programme aims to harness the talent of the trainees, giving them an opportunity to work towards bringing more efficiency in the implementation of the schemes.

Benefit: Stipend: ₹20,000 per month provided as a lump sum amount. - Duration: The duration of the Internship Programme will be 2 months throughout the year. Interns can select any of the 2-month batches while submitting their applications - Travel Reimbursement (Joining & Return): Travel cost reimbursed by Deluxe/AC Bus or 3 Tier AC Train for joining and returning after completion. - Travel & DA During Programme: Travel expenses and Dearness Allowance (DA) reimbursed for official tours as per Government of India rates. - Certification: Certificate awarded upon successful completion, subject to submission/presentation of reports or papers. - Hostzl Facility: Shared hostel accommodation provided in Delhi during the internship period. - Hostel Amenities: Basic facilities include triple sharing room, attached bathroom, bed (without mattress), table, chair, and cupboard. - Hostel Duration: Available from 2 days before the start to 2 days after completion of the programme. - Logistic Support: Includes seating arrangement, internet facility, and stationery items in the Ministry. - Internship Coordinator: Dedicated coordinator assigned for overall guidance, coordination, and communication. Note: Mess charges are not included as part of the accommodation and are to be borne by the intern availing the hostel facility

The scheme aims to provide free and timely transport to pregnant women for safe institutional deliveries.

Benefit: Free transport facility is provided to pregnant women for traveling to government hospitals for delivery.
