Devnarayan Chhatra Cycle Scheme

The scheme provides free bicycles to girl students studying in Class 9 in government schools of Rajasthan who belong to the Special Backward Classes or specific communities such as Banjara, Baldia, Labana-Gadiya Lohar, Gadolia, Gujar Gurjar, Raiko, Rebari (Debasi).

The Government of Rajasthan has launched the Devnarayan Chatra Scooty Yojana Scheme for the year 2023 in order to encourage female students in the state to study and to address the state’s low female literacy rate.

Benefit: 1500 scooties will be distributed free of cost every year according to the merit list of marks obtained in the 12th examination. Those are studying regularly in government colleges, state-funded universities, 12th (Senior Secondary) (girls who are not in the priority list of scooty acceptance) 10,000/- per annum in the first year, second year and third year. For Postgraduate first-year (P.G. degree) students, 20,000/- per annum in the admission year and Rs. 20,000/- per annum in the second year of post-graduation will be given as an incentive amount on obtaining 50% or more marks in the first year of post-graduation.

Dikri Development Scheme-DNH&DD

The scheme aims at “Saving girls” as the primary objective and to improve the Sex Ratio at birth. Through this scheme, money is deposited in the name of the girl child under the LIC Single Premium Endowment Plan for the first two living girl children.

Benefit: Financial Benefit 1. An LIC is purchased from the Life Insurance Corporation named as Single Premium Endowment Plan (No. 917) in the name of the girl child of sum amount of ₹42,372/- (inclusive of all taxes). 1. Amount will be given to the first two girl children who are among the first two living issues that the couple has. 1. On attaining the age of 18 years, the child can utilize the money for her welfare. 1. However, in case of life threatening condition of the girl child, money can be withdrawn at any time for the treatment of the girl child with a certificate of life-threatening condition issued by the Medical Board of Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu. Mode of Disbursement 1. PFMS DBT MODE. 1. An authorized Officer shall draw the said amount on a Hand Receipt Bill and pay directly to the LIC authorities (through PFMS) for the issuance of policies under Single Premium Endowment Plan No. 917 for a premium amount of ₹42,372/- per beneficiary. 1. The disbursement of benefits shall be made after obtaining approval of the Competent Authority. Nature of Assistance 1. Mode of Delivery – Kind. 1. Duration of Disbursement – Recurring.

The scheme aims to socially and economically empower Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe women by supporting them in income-generating activities through electric autos. It provides a subsidy up to 75% of the cost (maximum ₹3,00,000/-) for electric autos to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe women.

Benefit: A subsidy of 75% of the total cost of the electric auto (e-Auto) or ₹3,00,000/- whichever is less will be paid. This subsidy is paid after utilizing Central Government incentives under the Pradhan Mantri E-DRIVE Scheme (FAME-3), which provides a maximum subsidy of ₹50,000/-. The total cost of the electric auto will be calculated excluding extra accessories. Disbursement In case the beneficiary has already purchased the vehicle: The applicant must submit the original invoice along with the application to the Department, and the subsidy amount will then be credited to the beneficiary’s account.- In case the beneficiary has not purchased the vehicle: The applicant must pay 25% of the total cost of the vehicle as an initial payment to the dealer. The applicant has to submit the invoice for payment along with the application, and the subsidy amount will then be credited to the dealer's account. Post-Selection Obligations The beneficiary should not cause or permit a male driver to drive the vehicle. The beneficiary must retain all relevant documents for 5 years from the date of subsidy disbursement. The applicant has no power to sale/lease or any other transfer of ownership of the vehicle for a period of 5 years. If the information furnished by the beneficiary is false or if the electric auto is found to have been sold within the 5-year period, the total subsidy is liable to be returned to the Government or recovered with interest from the beneficiary.

“Dulari Kanya” is a scheme for the girl child by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The objective of the scheme is to end the preference between male and female child, encouragement of institutional delivery, immunization of children, to end child marriage and overall empowerment of females.

Benefit: An amount of ₹ 20,000/- shall be deposited in the fixed deposit Bank Account (Minor Account) of the girl child born in any Government Hospital or Government recognised private hospital. Maturity amount can be withdrawn by the beneficiary on attaining the age of 18 years, which would be subject to verification by the concerned DMO of the respective districts.

The DULARI Scheme was implemented by the Directorate of Health Services in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to provide incentives for newborn baby girls and to the girl children who pass Classes VIII, X, and XII.
