The scheme “Swasraya Scheme for Parents/Mothers of Physically Handicapped/Mentally Retarded Persons” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.

Benefit: Under the scheme, a one-time financial assistance of ₹35,000/- will be provided to women of BPL families to find self-employment, whose husbands have died/abandoned, and who have to take care of their sons/children with severe physical and mental challenges.

The aim of the scheme is to enable Scheduled Caste Widows/girls/destitute women for self-employment. A stipend of Rs.600/- P.M. and raw material costing Rs.300/- per month per trainee is given to a trainee for getting training from the nearest Kalyan Kendar run by this department.

Benefit: ₹600/- stipend per month. ₹300/- per month for raw materials. 1 sewing machine.

The scheme "Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards (National Level)" aims to promote and honor women’s contributions to Indian classical music by recognizing two outstanding female artistes with a cash award of ₹5,00,000, a shawl, and a certificate at a national-level event.

Benefit: Cash Prize: Each of the two selected female artists is awarded a cash prize of ₹5,00,000/-.- Other Benefit: In addition to the monetary award, recipients receive a shawl and a certificate recognizing their contribution.

The scheme aims to recognize and honor women and adolescent girls who have made outstanding achievements in various fields such as social work, education, literature, art, culture, courage, and bravery.

Benefit: Under this scheme, one woman or adolescent girl from each district, who has made outstanding achievements in a particular field, is awarded a cash prize of ₹51,000/- along with a certificate of appreciation by the State Government.

A scheme to provide financial assistance to the young women for setting up gainful self-employment ventures, suited to their skills, training, aptitude and local conditions.

Benefit: A financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh under Mudra loan from J&K Bank Re-payment of Financial Assistance provided under this scheme shall be interest free. Mission Youth, J&K shall provide an amount of Rs. 50,000 or 10% of project cost (Whichever is minimum) as special incentive (subsidy) towards the loan which shall be adjusted towards monthly installments of the loan for first six months. Interest subsidy up to Rs 0.60 lakh per beneficiary shall be provided by Mission Youth, J&K. The interest subsidy, however, shall be provided only on production of necessary documents (including Bank statement/ Income Tax statement/ certificate by DLIC) testifying the sustainability of the activity.

The "Thayi Magu Sahaya Hastha'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Karnataka, is a welfare scheme that provides financial assistance to registered women construction workers for pre-school education and nutritional support of their child for up to 3 years after delivery.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: ₹6,000/- (at the rate of ₹500/- per month).

The scheme “The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Allowance to Destitute Women Scheme” is implemented by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to provide financial assistance to the poorest and destitute women in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Benefit: The quantum of Allowance to Destitute Women shall be ₹2500/- per month subject to eligibility. 1. Payment of allowance shall be made through Bank Account on a monthly basis.

The scheme “The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Widow Pension Scheme” is implemented by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to provide financial assistance to poor and destitute widows in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Benefit: The quantum of Widow Allowance shall be ₹2500/- per month subject to eligibility. 1. Payment of allowance shall be made through the Bank Account on a monthly basis.

The scheme aims to increase fish production through inland fisheries and provide employment opportunities, particularly to Scheduled Tribe women engaged in fish seed rearing.

Benefit: The ₹90/- will be paid per 1,000 numbers, with a minimum 30% recovery for spawn to fry. - The rearing time for fish seed is 30 days. - Minimum 1 year required before reclaiming benefits under this component again.

The scheme aims to provide community-service-based skill development and employment opportunities for women in the field of animal husbandry. Eligible women members of Self-Help Groups under the Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission can apply.

Benefit: Under this scheme, community-service-based job creation or job filling is carried out between the Animal Husbandry Department and Animal Husbandry by A-HELP workers.

The scheme aims to provide an incentive to girl children. Through this scheme, an incentive is offered to the mother of the girl child or her legal guardian on a monthly basis.

Benefit: Rate of Incentive At the rate of ₹300/- per head per month up to the month the girl child attains the age of 15 years. The incentive amount will be paid to the mother of the girl child, preferably to the bank/post office account.

Madhya Pradesh State Government started "Udita Yojana" for women health promotions.

Benefit: Distribution of sanitary napkins, nutrition and health education, training on menstrual hygiene and nutrition and health issues in adolescent girls are done through Udita Corner established in Anganwadi centers.

Udyogini is an innovative scheme to assist women in gaining self-reliance and economic independence through self-employment, mainly through trade and the service sector. It also provides for a subsidy on loans for undertaking business activities/ micro enterprises through banks, etc.

Benefit: For women belonging to the Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe, the unit cost is a minimum ₹ 1,00,000 to a maximum of ₹ 3,00,000. The subsidy is 50% of the loan amount, income limit of the family should be below ₹ 2,00,000 per year. For women belonging to the special category and general category maximum unit cost is ₹ 3,00,000. Subsidy for special category women and for general category women is 30% or a maximum of ₹ 90,000/-. With EDP training for selected beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to provide monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500/- to abandoned ladies & destitute women in the UT. The scheme covers women who have been divorced or abandoned by their husband or relatives, have not remarried, & are without any source of income or have only a nominal income.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Eligible beneficiaries receive a pension of ₹1,500 per month (₹18,000 per annum). Mode of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed directly to the beneficiary’s bank account. Frequency of Disbursement The amount is provided monthly.

The scheme aims to provide monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500/- to widows in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. It covers widows who have not remarried and have no source of income.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Eligible beneficiaries receive a pension of ₹1,500/- per month (₹18,000 per annum). Mode of Disbursement: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary's bank account. Frequency of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed on a monthly basis.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance/compensation ranging from a minimum of ₹3 lakh to a maximum of ₹10 lakh to women victims and survivors of sexual offences, as well as to other women victims of crime in the state.

Benefit: Women victims of crime are provided financial assistance/compensation ranging from a minimum of ₹3 lakh to a maximum of ₹10 lakh. - Upon receipt of an application for compensation, the State/District Legal Services Authority may pass an order to provide immediate first aid or medical benefits free of cost to the victim/dependent, or an immediate relief amount of ₹5,000/- or ₹10,000/-, as required. This amount shall be disbursed immediately by the Member-Secretary, State Legal Services Authority or District Legal Services Authority. - If a woman is a victim of sexual violence or an acid attack and is covered under more than one offence, she will be entitled to receive a consolidated amount of compensation.

The Vahli Dikri Yojana by the Government of Gujarat under the Women and Child Development Department . The scheme supports girl children by providing financial aid, free education, and insurance, encouraging higher education and reducing dropout rates.

Benefit: Financial Assistance at Different Stages: ₹4,000/- at the time of admission in 1st standard. ₹6,000/- at the time of admission in 9th standard. ₹1,00,000/- at the age of 18 years for higher education or marriage.

This scheme is a Gujarat government initiative providing financial assistance to pregnant and lactating women from economically weaker sections to promote maternal and child health.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - Registration Benefit: A one-time financial assistance of ₹1000/- is provided. - Additional Benefit: An additional amount of ₹1000/- is disbursed after institutional delivery. - Further Benefit: ₹2000/- is given in two installments during the breastfeeding period, promoting continued maternal and child health.

The scheme aims to recognize and award women and girls in the State of Goa who have shown exceptional bravery and courage against atrocities, violence, and/or harassment. It provides a cash prize of ₹20,000/- and a scroll/citation to two awardees annually.

Benefit: A cash prize of ₹20,000/- is provided to each selected awardee. A scroll/citation is provided to each selected awardee. The award is conferred on Republic Day, which is the 26th of January, every year. The award is restricted to only two persons annually.
