The scheme aims to provide financial support to traditional women workers whose primary occupation is handloom weaving, spinning, or related weaving activities. Under this scheme, eligible women workers are provided with handloom equipment, including looms & related equipment, worth upto ₹25,000/-.

Benefit: Under this scheme, for providing handloom / pantloom / frameloom and other related tools and equipment to selected women workers, 90% of the total cost (up to a maximum of ₹25,000/-) will be borne by the department, while the remaining 10% will be contributed by the beneficiary herself.

The scheme “Assistance to Women for Trainer and Coaches Training Course” by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to encourage women's participation in sports by providing financial assistance for diploma courses in sports education.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Eligible female candidates receive financial support to enroll in recognized diploma courses in sports to become trainers or coaches.

The objective of this scheme is to uplift the status of the girls with disabilities in the rural areas & also to make them reliant by paying incentives in the form of Attendance Scholarship to these girls.

Benefit: Rate of Scholarship: ₹2,500/- per annum to the girl students up to 10th standard. ₹3,000/- per annum to the girl students from 10+1 onwards upto higher education. Note: The Directorate shall credit the scholarship online in the bank account of the student.

"Award of Attendance Scholarship to Girl Students in the Middle Stage of Education" was launched by the Directorate of School Education, UT of Puducherry aims to raise the enrolment of girls in schools in the age group of 11-14 years in the middle stage of education, and to avoid dropout.

Benefit: Scholarship Amount: ₹200/- per annum per student.- Mode of Disbursement: Disbursed directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank account of the applicant through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

The objective of the scheme is to financially assist the SC parents for sending school their daughters who otherwise earn livelihood for the family engaging themselves in menial labour.

Benefit: Under this scheme, ₹3,000/- per academic year is payable to the Scheduled Caste parent for each daughter studying in classes VI to XII standard. Note 01: The opportunity cost is payable to the parents of the Scheduled Caste girl in addition to the Pre-Matric Scholarship payable to the children. Note 02: The opportunity cost is not payable in respect of girls re-admitted in a class for a second academic year, owing to failure or discontinuance in the class previously.

The “Back-to-Lab” programme of Women Scientists Division offers Research and Post-Doctoral Fellowship to women who have break in their career, to facilitate their re-entry in science research.

Benefit: The scheme offers a Post-doctoral fellowship of ₹45,000/- + 10% HRA per month along with an annual contingency grant of ₹75,000/-. 1. Duration of the Fellowship is limited to a maximum of 2 years.

To facilitate the re-entry of women having a career break to Science research, the Kerala State Council of Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) launched the “Back-to-Lab Research Fellowship Programme” in 2010.

Benefit: Monthly Research Fellowship of ₹22,000/- + 10 % HRA in the first two years and ₹25,000/- + 10 % HRA per month in the third year, along with an annual contingent grant of ₹20,000/-. 1. Duration of the Fellowship is 3 years or till the date of submission of Ph.D Thesis, whichever is earlier.

“Balika Samrithi Yojana” by the Dept of Women & Child Development, Govt of Pondicherry was introduced to improve the status of the girl child and provide nutritious food to the girl child. Financial assistance of ₹500 in the form of a National Savings Certificate is provided to lactating mothers.

Benefit: Assistance of ₹500 in the form of a National Savings Certificate.

"Balri Birth Gift Scheme'' by the BOCW Welfare Board, Dept. of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides financial assistance in the form of a Fixed Deposit Receipt for the birth of a female child (upto two girls per family) which can be encashed only at the time of the daughter's marriage.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: ₹51,000/- in the form of an Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) for each female child (up to two girls). Note: The FDR can only be encashed at the time of the daughter's marriage.

Bebe Nanki Laadli Beti Kalyan Scheme was launched under the 13th Finance Commission component for "measures to improve gender ratio" in the Punjab State from 2011-12.

Begum Hazrat Mahal National scholarship is a scholarship scheme also known as Maulana Azad National scholarship scheme was first announced on 3rd May 2003. It is a national level scholarship started for the benefit of the girl’s student belonging to the minority communities.

Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of Gujarat. A scheme was introduced with the aim to encourage SC girl students to continue their higher studies after SSC.

Biotechnology Career Advancement and Re-orientation (BioCARe) Programme, a special scheme of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, the government of India aims to enhance the participation of women scientists in India towards research in Biotechnology.

Benefit: Date of Commencement of Project & its Duration The duration of the project is of three (3) years and is specified in the sanction order. The project starting date will be effective from the date on which the candidate joins the Institution but within 45 days from the date of issuance of the sanction order. The date of receipt of the grant should be intimated by the Institution authorities/Mentor and Nodal officer to this Department. It will, in no case be later than 15 days after the receipt of the grant by the Institute. The successful candidates have to join their host institution within 45 days from the date of issuance of the sanction order, or else it would be withdrawn. Project Cost & Fellowship to Project Investigator Project Cost & Fellowship: Based on the applicant's qualifying degree, the budget support is provided in the following two categories: Category: Category-I Qualifying Degree: Ph.D. in any discipline of Life Sciences or allied areas or interdisciplinary sciences /MD/MDS/M.V.Sc. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to girl students from Muslim, Latin, and converted Christian communities who are natives of Kerala. Through this scheme, scholarships are provided for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses, along with a separate hostel stipend.

The scheme "Cash Award to Women Players of the State" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to encourage and support talented female athletes through annual cash scholarships for those who excel at state and national level competitions.

Benefit: First Position (Individual & Team Sports at State Level/ National Representation): ₹4,800/- per year - Second Position (Individual & Team Sports at State Level): ₹3,600/- per year - Third Position (Individual Sports at State Level): ₹2,400/- per year

"Cash Grant in lieu of Sewing Machine" is a Welfare Scheme by the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund of the Dept of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry. Through this scheme, ₹10,000/- is provided to the Widows of Ex-servicemen for the purchase of a Sewing Machine. The applications are accepted offline.

Benefit: A Cash Grant of ₹10,000/- is provided for the purchase of a Sewing Machine. The amount is credited to the beneficiary’s Bank Account through RTGS/ NEFT.
