“Reimbursement of Fees for Diploma/ Graduation and Post-Graduation Professional Courses'' under “Saraswati Vidya Yojana”, implemented by the Directorate of Education, Of DNH & DD, aims to provide financial assistance to girl students pursuing higher education in professional courses.

Benefit: Full Reimbursement for Low Income: - 100% of tuition and academic fees will be reimbursed to girl students whose parental or husband's income is below ₹2,50,000/-. Partial Reimbursement for Higher Income: - 50% of tuition and academic fees will be reimbursed to girl students whose parental or husband's income is above ₹2,50,000/-. Maximum Reimbursement Limits: - For diploma and undergraduate professional courses, the maximum reimbursement is ₹2,50,000/- per year. - For postgraduate professional courses, the maximum reimbursement is ₹3,50,000/- per year. Extended Reimbursement for 1.5-Year Courses: - For graduate professional courses with a 1.5-year academic session, the maximum reimbursement is ₹3,75,000/- per academic year. - For postgraduate professional courses with a 1.5-year academic session, the maximum reimbursement is ₹5,25,000/- lakh per academic year. Additional Hostel Allowance: - An additional allowance covering 50% of hostel charges (excluding mess charges), capped at ₹30,000/- per year, will be provided. This allowance is in addition to the maximum reimbursement limits specified above. Note: - The accommodation fees of the students staying as paying Guest or in a flat system shall not be reimbursed. - While calculating Tuition and Academic Fees, the fees such as Capitation Fee, Infrastructure Fee and Development Fee will not be considered. - In case the Hostel Charges are inclusive of Mess Charges and the same is not mentioned separately in Fee Receipt, the Hostel Charges will be considered as 50% of the total amount of the aforesaid fee receipt. - In case the beneficiary is entitled to avail scholarship/ monetary benefit for the respective Academic Year under any other schemes of the U.T./ Govt. of India (Including Post matric scholarship) ,such amount shall be deducted from the benefit amount of this scheme and accordingly the scholarship amount shall be disbursed under the scheme.

The scheme aims to encourage community marriages among economically and socially backward classes. Incentives are provided to couples and the organizing institutions.

Benefit: Monetary Incentive to Couples: ₹12,000 is provided to each newly married couple from socially and educationally backward classes and economically backward classes. Support to Organizing Institutions: ₹3,000 per couple is granted to the organizing institution, up to a maximum of ₹75,000 per event.

Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child (SJSGC) is a Fellowship Scheme by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Higher Education, for pursuing research work leading to the award of a Ph.D. degree. The target group of this scheme is the ‘single girl child'.

Benefit: TENURE OF FELLOWSHIP: The tenure of the fellowship is for five years and will be effective from 1st April of the selection year or the actual date of joining under the fellowship in the University/College/Institute, whichever is later. Fellowship will be granted upto the date of submission of Ph.D. Thesis or 5 years of tenure whichever is earlier. No extension is permissible beyond the total period of five years, and the fellow ceases to be a UGC research fellow immediately after the expiry of the due date. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Fellowship: JRF @ ₹ 37,000/- p.m. for initial two years (subject to satisfactory progress of research work) SRF @ ₹ 42,000/- p.m. for remaining tenure (subject to satisfactory progress of research work) Contingency: For Humanities and Social Sciences: @ ₹ 10,000/- p.a. for the initial two years, @ ₹ 20,500/- p.a. for the remaining tenure. For Science, Engineering, and Technology @ ₹ 12,000/- p.a. for the initial two years, @ ₹ 25,000/- p.a. for the remaining tenure. Escort Reader Assistance: @ ₹ 3,000/- p.m. in the case of ‘Divyang’ scholars. Note: At the end of tenure/termination of fellowship/resignation of scholar, the books, journals, and equipment purchased out of the contingency grant shall become the property of the institution concerned. HRA: (i) Hostel accommodation may be provided to the scholars by their institutions. In such cases, the scholar is eligible to draw only hostel fees excluding mess, electricity, water charges, etc. In case, a scholar refuses the hostel accommodation, he/she shall not be eligible to draw HRA. (ii) In case of non-availability of hostel accommodation, the scholar may be provided with single accommodation by the host institution. In such cases, the rent paid by the scholar on an actual basis shall be reimbursed, subject to the ceiling of HRA as per Govt. of India norms. (iii) If the scholar makes her own arrangements of accommodation, he/she shall be entitled to draw HRA as per ceiling and categorization of cities by the Govt. of India. In case, the scholar wishes to draw HRA, he/she is required to submit a certificate, in the prescribed format, to her institution. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: No separate/fixed medical assistance is provided. However, the scholars may avail the medical facilities available in their Institutions concerned. LEAVE: (i) Earned Leave for a maximum period of 30 days in a year in addition to public holidays may be taken by a scholar. However, they are not entitled to any other vacation, such as summer, winter, and pooja vacations, etc. (ii) Maternity/paternity leave as per the Govt. of India norms issued from time to time shall be available for female scholars at full rates of the fellowship once during the tenure of the fellowship. The period of leave without fellowship, if any, shall be counted towards the tenure. Besides this, an ‘Intermittent Break’ for a maximum total period of 1 year may also be permissible for women scholars. The break can be availed a maximum of 3 times during the entire period of the fellowship. However, the total duration of the break shall not exceed one year. No fellowship shall be available for the period of such break(s). This period of intermittent breaks shall not be counted towards the tenure of the fellowship, and thus effectively the total period of fellowship shall remain the same. (iii) Academic leave (without fellowship and other emoluments) shall be permissible only for one year throughout the tenure (for any kind of academic/teaching assignment/foreign visit in connection with research work). The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure. Expenditure on foreign visits in connection to research work cannot be claimed from UGC. (iv) All kinds of leave shall be availed by the scholar only with due approval of the institution concerned.

The Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana was initiated by the "Department of Women, Child Development, and Social Security, Government of Jharkhand."

Savitribai Phule Scholarship is a Scholarship Scheme by the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, to encourage enrollment and to decrease the dropout ratio of Girls in education.

Benefit: The beneficiary is to provide ₹100/- per month for 10 months i.e. ₹1,000/- for 10 months.

Savitribai Phule Scholarship is a Scholarship Scheme by the Social Justice and Special Assistance Dept., Govt. of Maharashtra, to encourage the enrollment and to decrease the dropout ratio of Girl Students of Maharashtra from Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Classes.

Benefit: The beneficiary is provided ₹ 60/- per month, i.e. ₹ 600/- for ten months.

The scheme provides financial support to unemployed women from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category in the state to help them start businesses in industry, service, or trade sectors.

Benefit: Margin Money Assistance: Provides financial support covering 50% of the project cost, up to a maximum of ₹15,000/-.

The scheme provides financial assistance to Scheduled Caste girl students of Madhya Pradesh enrolled in Class 11 to encourage them to continue their education and prevent dropouts.

Benefit: Eligible SC girl students of Class 11 receive an annual financial incentive of ₹3,000/-, credited directly to their bank account

The scheme aims to address malnutrition among adolescent girls through nutritional and non-nutritional support. Through this scheme, nutritional support, health services, nutrition education and skilling support are provided to adolescent girls aged 14-18 years in identified areas.

Benefit: Nutritional Benefits: The applicant receives supplementary nutrition containing 600 calories, 18-20 grams of protein and micronutrients. The supplementary nutrition is provided in the form of Take Home Ration (THR). The benefit is provided for 300 days in a year. The Take Home Ration is prepared with fortified micronutrients as per nutritional standards. Age-specific processed food mixtures are labelled to ensure consumption by the targeted beneficiaries. Last-mile tracking of services is undertaken through Poshan Tracker. Non-Nutrition Benefits: Iron and Folic Acid (IFA) supplementation is provided. Health Check-up and Referral Services are provided. Nutrition & Health Education (NHE) is provided. Promotion of menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls is ensured. Participation of adolescent girls is encouraged through the Peer Educator Programme for addressing adolescent issues and awareness about available services. Skill training is provided to generate livelihood opportunities for adolescent girls trained under the scheme.

This scheme is implemented in Bihar since 2011 through the Anganwadi centers under the Integrated Child Development Project. Under this scheme, adolescent girls aged 11 to 14 years who are not attending school receive a monthly take-home ration and skill development training.

Benefit: Under this scheme, beneficiaries receive a monthly take-home ration (THR) along with skill development training. The following benefits are provided to beneficiaries under both nutritional and non-nutritional items: - Nutritional items: Rice, eggs, and soybeans are provided as THR to adolescent girls. Nutritious items are provided for 25 days each month. - Non-nutritional items: These include Iron Folic Acid supplements, comprehensive health check-ups and referral services, health and nutrition education, reintegration of out-of-school adolescent girls into the formal education system or mainstreaming through alternative education/skills development, life skills education, home management training, and counseling/guidance for accessing public services.

The Scheme for Maternity Benefit was launched by the Tripura Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, under the Labour Department of Tripura. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to registered female construction workers after delivery

Benefit: Financial Assistance for Delivery: Amount ₹8,000/- to female registered construction workers after delivery or the wife of a male registered construction worker. Maximum twice in a lifetime. Financial Assistance for Miscarriage: Amount ₹4,000/- to female registered construction workers or the wife of registered construction workers. Maximum twice in a lifetime. Maternity Leave with Pay: Maximum 3 months for female registered construction workers who have been working for not less than one year. NOTE: As per the unskilled minimum rate of wages for the building and other construction workers notified by the Labour Department, Govt. of Tripura.

Under the scheme, the acid attack victim is entitled to receive 100% free medical treatment from government or government-approved hospitals. Additionally, an ad-hoc relief of ₹1.00 lakh is provided to the acid attack victim, which is later reimbursed by the Women and Child Development Department.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the following benefits will be provided to women acid attack victims: 1. ₹25,000/- as ad-hoc relief immediately by the concerned Deputy Commissioner. 1. ₹75,000/- within 15 days by the Women and Child Development Department for immediate medical expenses. 1. Finance Support for 100% medical treatment including medicine, food, bedding and plastic surgery/reconstructive surgery, if any from amongst any of the Government Hospital/Government approved hospitals.

In the year 2010-11, Rajasthan Government has taken the initiative to encourage girl child education by starting a scheme to Study Abroad.

Benefit: A maximum of Rs. 30,000 for coaching and up to Rs.50,000 for registration for SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) examination will be borne by the state government per student on the basis of actual expenditure. 1. An amount of Rs. 25 thousand will be given to each girl student for submitting an application form for admission to a foreign university. 1. After the acceptance of the application by the foreign university, full accommodation facility of the university will be given and the economy class fare will also be provided to meet the parent once a year 1. A maximum amount of up to Rs.10.00 lakh per year will be spent on all the items on each student in the 4-year course.

The scheme aims to meet the equity gap for new Small Scale Industrial units and service activities promoted by women entrepreneurs. It offers Term Loans and Seed Capital for projects costing up to ₹10,00,000/-.

Benefit: The scheme provides financial assistance for projects with a cost up to ₹10,00,000/-. The assistance includes a Term Loan component covering 65% of the project cost. The assistance includes a Seed Capital component covering 25% of the project cost. The applicant receives a concessional rate of interest that is 0.5% less than the normal interest rate charged for loans. The applicant receives a 50% concession on the investigation fee. The calculated Debt-Equity Ratio (D.E.R) for the project is 1.857:1. Repayment and Term Details The repayment period for the Term Loan is 6 to 8 years, which includes a moratorium period of 1 to 2 years. The repayment period for the Seed Capital is 10 years. The Promoter's contribution required is 10% of the project cost. Conditions _Collateral security in the form of immovable property must be offered, in addition to the mortgage or hypothecation of proposed fixed assets._ _For units promoted by women entrepreneurs, the value of the immovable property to be offered as security is reduced and fixed at 50% of the loan amount._ _The valuation of the properties offered as security must be assessed by engaging Chartered Engineers/valuers from the approved panel of the Corporation._

The scheme aims to extend financial assistance to new or existing Micro Enterprises and Small Scale Industry units exclusively promoted by women or having a majority of women entrepreneurs. It provides term loans and working capital assistance up to 75% of the project cost.

Benefit: Financial assistance shall be considered up to a maximum of 75% of the project cost. The loan is provided for acquiring fixed assets. The loan is provided to meet the working capital requirement. A concessional rate of interest of 0.5% less than the normal rate is charged for units promoted by Women. A 50% concession is provided on the investigation fee. The maximum term loan repayment period is 10 years. Conditions _The project cost shall not exceed ₹20,00,000/-._ _The Promoter’s contribution must be 25% of the project cost._ _The Debt Equity Ratio (DER) shall be 3:1._ _Repayment period is a maximum of 10 years, which includes a moratorium period of a maximum of 2 years, depending upon the period of implementation._ _Collateral security in the form of immovable property shall be offered as per the lending policy of the Corporation._ _Apart from collateral security, proposed fixed assets must be covered by mortgage and/or hypothecation._ _For units promoted by women entrepreneurs, the value of the immovable property to be offered as collateral security is reduced and fixed at 50% of the loan amount._

The objective of this scheme is to support the education of girls who have lost their fathers and are studying in government schools. Under this scheme, scholarships ranging from ₹350/- to ₹450/- are provided to eligible girls from Class 1 to Class 12.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the scholarships will be given at the following rates:- - Class 1 to 5: ₹350/- per year - Class 6 to 8: ₹400/- per year - Class 9 to 12: ₹450/- per year Note: The scholarship will be deposited directly into the student's bank account.

National Jute Board Act, 2008 provides to “secure better working conditions and provisions and improve amenities and incentives for workers engaged in the jute industry.”

Benefit: Secondary Education (for Girls only ): ₹ 5,000/- (Five thousand) Higher Secondary Education (for Girls only): ₹ 10,000/- (Ten thousand)

The SERB - POWER Fellowship is designed to identify and reward excellent women researchers in Indian academic institutions and R&D laboratories, holding Ph.D. degrees in any branch of science and engineering.

Benefit: Fellowship of ₹15,000/- per month in addition to regular income. 1. Research grant of ₹10 Lakhs per annum. Research grants can be used for minor equipment, research personnel, consumables, contingencies, and domestic travel. 1. Overheads for the host institute.

This scheme aims to encourage registered women construction workers and to enable them to mend their clothing at their homes. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to registered women construction workers to purchase a Sewing Machine.

Benefit: Under this scheme, the Board is providing financial assistance of ₹4,500/- to registered women construction workers for purchasing a sewing machine. Note: The Board can provide a sewing machine.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹4,500/- is provided to women workers employed in Industrial and Commercial Establishments in the state of Haryana for the purchase of sewing machines for their domestic use.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹4,500/- is provided to women workers working in industrial and commercial establishments of Haryana to purchase sewing machines for their domestic use.
