The scheme aims to enhance maternal and child health by providing nutritional support to first-time pregnant women and mothers of young children during the crucial first 1000 days of life.

Benefit: Commodities: The nutrition kit includes 1 Litre of Groundnut oil, 1 Kg Tuver Dal, & 2 Kg Chana.

The scheme empowers tribal women by providing them with livelihood opportunities through women-run centers. These centers promote the sale of tribal dishes and home-made products, thereby improving income and living standards. Tribal women-run groups receive a subsidy covering 50% of project cost.

Benefit: Monetary Benefit 50% of the project cost or ₹5,00,000, whichever is less, provided as subsidy. The remaining 50% of the project cost is provided as a loan. Subsidy Disbursement Given in two installments – 60% in the first installment and 40% in the second installment. Interest Rate Loan at 4% per annum. Repayment Loan (excluding subsidy) must be repaid in 20 equal installments over 5 years, including interest. Option to repay earlier is allowed. Beneficiary Contribution No upfront contribution required from the beneficiary.

The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the needy girls, widows, and abandoned women from destitute or poor Muslim families in the state at the time of their marriage (In case of mass marriage).

Benefit: Under this scheme, the following assistance is provided: - Each eligible bride (including girls, widows, or abandoned women) participating in the mass marriage (Nikah) ceremony will receive a total of ₹49,000/- through an Account Payee Cheque. - The organizing body that conducts the mass marriage (Nikah) ceremony will receive ₹6,000/- per beneficiary. Note: A total of ₹55,000/- is provided per beneficiary under the scheme.

Chhattisgarh State Government started "Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana" for the girl child of the family.

Benefit: Financial Benefits: ₹ 20,000/- only first two girl child.

The Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana is a program launched by the Rajasthan government in June 2016. It aims to improve the overall development of girls in the state by providing financial assistance for their health and education.

“Mukhyamantri Rajya Nirashrit Mahila Samman Pension Yojana” is a Social Security Scheme by the Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security, Government of Jharkhand, that aims to provide social security to women who are unable to sustain themselves with their own resources.

Benefit: Amount: ₹ 1,000/- per month to the eligible beneficiary.

The scheme “Mukhyamantri Samajik Sahayata Prakalpa- Vulnerable Women" was launched by the Directorate of Social Welfare and Social Education, Government of Tripura to provide financial assistance to Vulnerable Woman in need of special care, support or protection because of age, disability.

Benefit: Pension Amount: ₹2000/- per month.- Mode of Disbursal: The sanctioned grant will be transferred directly to the individual bank account of the applicant.- The list of beneficiaries will be made available on the [official website](https://socialwelfare.tripura.gov.in/) of the Social Welfare & Social Education Department, Govt. of Tripura.

The scheme aims to enhance nutritional support for all adolescent girls aged 15 -19 years across the state. However, in the 10 Aspirational Districts, the coverage is limited to girls aged 18 -19 years.

Benefit: Supplementary Nutrition: Since adolescence is a period of growth spurt, nutritional requirement during the period is at its peak. Nutritional interventions at this stage would help in ensuring proper growth, addressing anaemia and ensure better outcomes during pregnancy and childbirth at a later stage. - Daily Ration Cost: ₹9.50/- per beneficiary per day for 300 days a year. - Weekly Nutrition Supplements for Adolescent Girls (15-19 years): The following items as Take Home Ration (THR) will be given to the Adolescent Girls (15-19 years) under this scheme for 300 days per year. This initiative aims to make Kishori Diwas more engaging and eventful. Any Saturday in the month of January may be celebrated as “Kishori Mela”, with increased participation and a range of activities for all adolescent girls aged 15 - 19 years.

Benefit: The following activities may be undertaken during the event: - Administration of weekly IFA tablet and egg. - Screening of nutritionally at-risk adolescent girls (BMI checkup). - Screening for anaemia status (haemoglobin testing). - Counselling and referrals. The One Stop Centre Counsellors & State Social Welfare Board Counsellors maybe roped in for the purpose alongwith Health Counsellors. - IEC/SBCC activities through Tiki mausi and Kishori resources. - Identification of girls & boys for linkage with skill development programmes. - Cultural Programmes/ Speaking events/ Exhibitions by both adolescent girls & boys. - Boys & men to be encouraged to come forward, support & participate in the event. This is highly desirable under the Departments initiative of roping in men & boys to come forward to fight against malnutrition (# menstreaming). - The event shall also be utilized for generation of Aadhaar numbers/ opening of bank accounts/ generation of birth certificates.

The scheme aims to provide supplementary Take Home Ration (THR) in the form of nutrient-rich food products to pregnant women and lactating mothers across the state.

Benefit: Take Home Ration: Chikki/ladoo(s) and eggs are provided to pregnant women and lactating mothers under Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP). Additionally, the following nutrient-rich products would be provided under this scheme in addition to their existing entitlements. Sl. The "Mukhyamantri Vidwa Evam Ekal Naari Awas Yojana" was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide financial grants for the construction of houses to economically weak widows and single women.

Benefit: An assistance amount of ₹1,50,000/- will be given for the construction of the house.

The scheme "Namo Laxmi Yojana" by the Education Department, aims to reduce the dropout rate of girls in secondary and higher secondary education by providing financial assistance for completing studies from Class 9th to 12th.

Benefit: Total Financial Assistance: Each eligible girl will receive a total financial support of ₹50,000/- on completion of classes 9th to 12th in government, aided, and private schools. Class 9th-10th Benefit: ₹10,000/- per annum (₹500/- per month based on attendance × 10) and the remaining 50% will be credited via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) after passing the Class 10th board examination. Class 11th-12th Benefit: ₹15,000/- per annum (₹750/- per month based on attendance × 10) and the remaining 50% will be credited via DBT after passing the Class 12th board examination.

The scheme aims to ensure proper nutritional support to pregnant women and lactating mothers and encourage institutional deliveries. It provides financial assistance of ₹12,000/- to eligible women beneficiaries covering expenses from conception to delivery.

Benefit: Financial Assistance Amount Eligible women beneficiaries receive ₹12,000/- from conception to delivery of the child for their first two live children, distributed in phases. Disbursal for First Pregnancy ₹5,000/- at the time of registration (₹2,000/- from State Government and ₹3,000/- from Central Government) ₹2,000/- after six months of pregnancy (from the State Government) ₹3,000/- immediately after institutional delivery (from the State Government) ₹2,000/- after the 14-week vaccination (from the Central Government) Disbursal for Second Pregnancy ₹2,000/- at the time of registration ₹3,000/- after six months of pregnancy ₹6,000/- after institutional delivery (amount given by the Central Government if the newborn is a girl and by the State Government if the newborn is a boy) ₹1,000/- from the State Government after the 14-week vaccination Mode of Disbursement: The Amount is transferred directly into the beneficiary woman's bank account through installments. Conditions for Availment A certificate from the Medical Institution of Delivery is required for the last installment.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for upto 2 girls in a family. Assistance is given in 2 installments per girl child: 1st installment of ₹11,000 is provided at the time of birth if girl is born in a hospital/ANM center & 2nd installment of ₹51,000 is given when girl passes Class 12th.

Benefit: Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to two girls of an eligible family in two installments for each girl child: - ₹11,000/- at the time of birth. - ₹51,000/- when the girl passes Class 12. For the first installment, the application must be submitted within six months of the girl’s birth, and the child must be born in a hospital/ANM center. For the second installment, the application can be submitted when the girl passes Class 12. Applications are invited from July to November of the same year in which she passes. If applied in the next year, the application will not be considered valid. The second installment will be granted only if the girl has passed Class 12 from the Uttarakhand Board, Secondary Education Board of other states, CBSE, ICSE, or the National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, and the girl must be unmarried.

The scheme aims to provide an alternative grievance redressal mechanism for women at the grassroots level through mediation, counselling, and awareness of rights and entitlements.

Benefit: Grievance Redressal Support: Provides an alternative dispute resolution platform at the local level. Addresses cases related to harassment, domestic violence, property disputes, and social issues. Counselling and Mediation: Offers counselling, negotiation, and mediation services. Ensures resolution through mutual consent and evidence-based approach. Awareness Generation: Spreads awareness about legal rights, government schemes, and entitlements. Conducts campaigns on gender equality and women’s rights. Community Support and Facilitation: Acts as a support system for women through handholding and guidance. Connects beneficiaries to institutions like police, hospitals, and legal services. Financial Support (Operational): ₹3,000/- per meeting (for the entire group) to cover logistics such as stationery, travel, and refreshments. ₹500/- honorarium to Mukhya Nyaya Sakhi per meeting. ₹200/- incentive to each Nyaya Sakhi per meeting. ₹800/- per member for uniform, provided twice a year.

The "Nari Niketans" were established in 1976 by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir wherein deserted /destitute ladies/ widows having no means of livelihood are given admissions. There are seven Nari Niketan in Jammu & Kashmir. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme.

Benefit: The inmates are provided care and protection in the institutions. Besides food, shelter, bedding & clothing are also provided. For school-going destitute girls free education is provided in addition to other facilities. The children accompanying the mothers will be entitled to admission subject to the condition that male children after they attain the age of 8 years shall be transferred to Bal Ashrams. The inmate shall remain in the institution till they are rehabilitated/get married/ covered under any schemes for employment and self-employment.

The award aims to acknowledge the achievements of women & recognize their contributions to society and the nation. The award is conferred annually on individuals in recognition of their exceptional service towards the cause of women’s empowerment, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized women.

Benefit: Award Components: Certificate and a cash amount of ₹2,00,000/- per awardee. - Number of Awards: Maximum 15 awards. - Relaxation Provision: The selection committee may relax the maximum number of awards at its discretion. Presentation of the Award: 1. The Award shall be presented at New Delhi at a special ceremony/ function held on the occasion of the International Women's Day on 8th March every year. 1. The Ministry will reimburse travel expenses by economy class by shortest route, for the awardees to and from Delhi, by Air India or any other airline as specifically permitted and local travelling allowance on production of bills and air tickets. Apart from this, boarding and lodging arrangements for the awardees for three days (one day prior and one day after the date of Award ceremony) shall be arranged by the Ministry. 1. In special circumstances, the Ministry may also reimburse travel expenses by economy class by shortest route, for one companion of the awardee, in case the awardee belongs to any of the following categories: - Awardee is more than 70 years of age (as on date of award ceremony); - Awardee is Divyangjan or a person with disability, who cannot manage without companion's support (certificate from designated authority of State/ Central Government is required to be submitted); - Awardee belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category; - Awardee is illiterate or having language barrier, and cannot manage without a companion.

The National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education promotes the girl child's enrolment of 14-18 years age group at secondary stage, who passes class 8th and subsequently drops out for various socio-economic reasons.

Benefit: A sum of ₹3000/- would be deposited under term deposit/ fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child. The term/ period of the deposit may be counted from the date of deposit to the date on which the girl child attains the age of 18 years. No premature withdrawal will be allowed.

The scheme aims to provide support and assistance, including legal aid and shelter, to women who are victims of domestic violence, as mandated by the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005. This scheme ensures that affected women receive the necessary resources for their well-being.

Benefit: Provision of legal advice to the aggrieved woman as per her requirement. Provision of counselling services to the aggrieved woman as per her requirement. Arrangement of medical facilities for the aggrieved woman as per her requirement. Provision of transportation facilities to the aggrieved woman as per her requirement. Arrangement of shelter facilities for the aggrieved woman as per her requirement. The mode, frequency, time, conditions for disbursement, and validity of these benefits will be determined based on the specific need of the aggrieved woman and the resources available with the implementing agencies at the time of application.

The scheme aims to achieve economic upliftment by providing self-employment with dignity. Through this scheme, loans for self-employment at an annual interest rate are provided to women beneficiaries of nomadic and denotified castes living below the poverty line.

Benefit: The maximum loan limit is up to ₹2,00,000/-. The interest rate will be 5% per annum. Under this scheme, 100% loan of the business/occupation amount is provided. The loan amount will consist of 95% National Corporation contribution, 5% State Government contribution and zero beneficiary contribution. Repayment: The loan amount, including interest, will have to be repaid in 60 equal monthly instalments.
