The scheme aims to promote fish farming as a sustainable livelihood opportunity among individuals and groups belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Benefit: Under this scheme: - Pond clusters, comprising a minimum of 10 ponds at one location, are created for individuals belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The scheme provides 60% of the total cost as a grant for pond construction and the first-year investment, including expenses on fish hatcheries and feed. A minimum of 10 ponds will be constructed in each village. - Individual beneficiaries are eligible to receive a grant for a maximum of 500 cubic meters, up to ₹3,00,000/-. For societies, groups, mahasanghs, federations, or mangal dals belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a grant of ₹5,10,000/- is provided, which constitutes 60% of the total project cost of ₹8,50,000/- for the construction of a 1-hectare pond in the plains. - Ponds of sizes ranging from 0.05 to 0.50 hectares will be constructed in the plains under this scheme.

The scheme aims to provide essential infrastructure by constructing Multipurpose Community Halls (Sanskruti Bhavan) in villages primarily inhabited by Scheduled Tribe Communities. Benefits include a facility that serves as a marriage hall, training center, and recreation room.

Benefit: Construction of a Multipurpose Community Hall, designated as Sanskruti Bhavan. The project provides funding for the entire cost of construction, subject to a maximum limit of ₹50,00,000/-, which includes the cost of land. Intended Use of the Benefits The hall must be used by the local population as a Multipurpose Community Hall. The facility must include a special Anganwadi. The hall must include a reading room. The hall must include a recreation room. The main hall must have a seating capacity of 200 to 300 people. The hall must serve as a marriage hall. The facility must function as a facilitation point for organizing awareness programmes, conducting trainings, seminars, holding meetings of Forest Right Committees and other socio cultural events. Disbursement The entire cost of the project will be deposited with the Executing Agency. The funds are released after the detailed estimate, drawing of the project is approved by the State Level Committee and the construction license is obtained for the project. Conditions A separate long term Maintenance Agreement will be entered into with the Executing Agency for the maintenance of the Sanskruti Bhavan/Multipurpose Community Hall. The Panchayat may grant use of the facility at the rate fixed by the Government from time to time. The amount collected from granting use of the facility will be credited into the maintenance fund of the hall.

The scheme aims to give benefits under the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan and Tribal Sub-Plan to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe trainees enrolled under various Labour Welfare Centres in the State of Goa. Eligible trainees receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,000/- to support their training in crafts.

Benefit: A stipend of ₹1,000/- per month shall be provided to the eligible applicant/trainee. The scheme's main objective is to train the members of Industrial workers so that they become self-employed. Trainees can earn to some extent to help their family. The stipend shall be paid monthly. The stipend will be paid till the completion of the course of that particular academic year. The period of stipend will commence from July to April of a particular academic year. If the attendance of the applicant/trainee is less than 75% for a particular month, no stipend will be paid to that trainee.

The objective of the scheme is to provide additional financial assistance (scholarship) to the ST students pursuing higher education after Senior Secondary i.e. 12th Standard in the Colleges/Universities anywhere in India, as an incentive to supplement the cost of their education.

Benefit: Value of Additional Scholarship: 1. Under this scheme of additional scholarships for Scheduled Tribe Students, an amount of ₹1000/- per month shall be given to the eligible students. Payment and mode of disbursal of additional scholarship: 1. The additional scholarship shall be payable for ten months in an academic session. 1. The additional scholarship shall be normally admissible to the pass-out students of the previous academic session. 1. The additional scholarship money shall be directly released to the bank account of the beneficiaries by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare.

The scheme aims to promote fertiliser use for higher productivity. Subsidy-cum-loan assistance is provided in kind to small and marginal farmers.

Benefit: Provision of Manure and Fertilizers - Manures and fertilizers will be provided to eligible cultivators. - Assistance is given in kind and not in cash. Subsidy and Loan Component - Assistance is provided on a 40% subsidy and 60% loan basis. Crop-wise Fertilizer Quantity (in Nutrients) - Paddy: Nitrogen 110, Phosphorus 60, Potash 60 - Maize: Nitrogen 100, Phosphorus 50 - Groundnut: Nitrogen 25, Phosphorus 50 - Castor: Nitrogen 20, Phosphorus 20 - Wheat: Nitrogen 100, Phosphorus 50, Potash 50 - Sugarcane: Nitrogen 250, Phosphorus 125, Potash 125 Green Manuring Support - 40 kg of seeds per hectare will be supplied for green manuring. Loan Recovery Provision - The loan amount shall be recovered in one instalment after completion of the season. Season-wise Recovery Period - Kharif (June to July): Recovery from December to February - Rabi (October to November): Recovery from March to May - Hot Weather (January to February): Recovery from June to July Interest and Penalty Condition - Interest rate will be as prescribed by the Government of India from time to time. - In case of default, penal interest at 2½% will be charged. - Recovery will be made as arrears of land revenue.

The scheme “Scheme for Subsidy on Interest for Establishment of 1 to 20 Milch Animal Farm for Scheduled Tribe” was started by the Dept. of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Govt. of Gujarat.

Benefit: The beneficiary can purchase 1 to 20 Milch animals (Any dairy animal cow & buffalo) at a subsidized rate as per their need and capacity to maintain. 1. The applicant can get an interest subsidy @ 12 % interest on the bank loan amount for 5 years. Note 01: The interest calculated by the bank or a maximum of 12% on the unit cost of the animal or the loan per unit advanced by the bank to purchase the animal, whichever is lower. Note 02: The amount of interest subvention will be deposited in the beneficiary's loan account in the form of a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in installments. There will be no cash assistance for any of the beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to extend financial assistance to SC/ST Entrepreneurs for setting up new Micro Enterprises or for expansion of existing units. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the PIPDIC portal.

Benefit: Loan of upto ₹2,00,000/-.

Scheme Of Coaching & Allied For Scheduled Tribe aims to provide support for the betterment of Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates for coaching and pre examination training in quality coaching institutions to enable them to appear in competitive examinations.

Benefit: The students will be given stipend of Rs.1000/- fixed per month for the entire period of coaching as mentioned above. - The financial assistance shall also be provided for boarding and lodging to the outstation students @ Rs.2000/- per month per student. The concerned coaching institute shall make arrangements for outstation students and shall certify that the candidate is an outstation student. - The financial assistance in respect of various courses would be as follows: S. The Central Sector Scheme “Scheme of Grant-in-Aid to Voluntary Organisations Working for the Welfare of Scheduled Tribes” was launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

Benefit: Broad Sector-wise indicative categories of projects for which grant-in-aid will be considered are as follows: SectorsCategory of ProjectsEducation1. Priority will be given to programmes/projects that benefit Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), LWE-affected districts, and tribal populations in remote or difficult areas. Under the scheme, grants are given to Organizations as per norms fixed for different projects given in [Annexure-1](https://ngo.tribal.gov.in/view-scheme-formats-doc?docType=schemeGuidelines), subject to the ceilings for recurring and non-recurring grants.

The scheme aims to provide crucial financial support for food, clothing, and shelter to children of widows and orphans belonging to the ST community Benefits include a monthly fixed maintenance allowance of ₹1,500/- for a widow’s child or ₹2,000/- for an orphan.

Benefit: Fixed maintenance allowance of ₹1,500/- per month, per child of a widow. Fixed maintenance allowance of ₹2,000/- per month, per child who is an orphan. Disbursement Conditions/Criteria The financial support is provided until the children attain the age of eighteen years. For children of widows, the benefit is limited to two children. Mode of Disbursement For Children of Widows: The amount is released to the beneficiary along with the benefits under the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSS).- For Orphans: The benefit amount will be transferred through the Electronic Clearance System (ECS) to the Joint Account of the orphan and the guardian.

The scheme provides monthly financial aid to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students pursuing higher education. Benefits include scholarships for hostellers and day scholars, with eligibility based on academic performance and income criteria.

Benefit: Course of Study Group-A Degree courses in medical/engineering/B.Sc. (Agri)/Veterinary Science/Forensic Science/Higher Technical and professional studies, and degree-level courses in Indian medicine (B.A.M.S. and comparable courses in Ayurvedic, Unani/Tibbia, and Homeopathy systems of Medicine): Hostellers: ₹1,620/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹900/- per month for 12 months. For Postgraduate courses in the above fields and other technical/professional courses: Hostellers: ₹1,860/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹960/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-B Diploma-level courses in Indian medicine, engineering, technology, architecture, and other vocational courses, as well as postgraduate courses in science subjects: Hostellers: ₹1,110/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹720/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-C Certificate courses in engineering, technology, architecture, medicine, and other vocational courses (minimum duration of one year): Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-D General courses up to graduate level: Hostellers: ₹804/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹420/- per month for 12 months. Postgraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, and other subjects: Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Conditions for Disbursement The scholarship amount will be reduced to 50% if a student fails the annual examination but continues studies, except in cases of medical grounds or natural calamities.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from SC/ST/OBC/Minority communities studying in classes I to XII in government or recognised schools in Delhi. The scheme offers varying scholarship amounts based on class and academic performance, ensuring support for education.

Benefit: Class 1st to 8th SC/ST/Minority Students ₹1,000/- per Annum (No % of Marks Required). OBC Students (6th to 8th) ₹600/- per Annum (55% to 60% Marks in Previous Class). ₹720/- per Annum (Above 60% Marks in Previous Class). Class 9th to 10th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹1,620/- per Annum (55% to 60% Marks in Previous Class). ₹2,040/- per Annum (Above 60% Marks in Previous Class). Class 11th to 12th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹3,000/- per Annum (55% to 70% Marks in Previous Class). ₹4,500/- per Annum (Above 70% Marks in Previous Class). _The bank account should be in the name of the student (a joint account with a parent/guardian is permissible)._

"Self Employment Scheme" provides financial support up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to any individual person belonging to Scheduled Tribes Community to undertake any self-employment activities.

Benefit: Financial Support up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to individuals. Loan/ Financial Assistance up to a maximum of ₹ 10,00,000 to the Association / Societies / Partnership / Self-help groups (SHG) / Companies. The beneficiary is required to contribute a 10% margin money towards the cost of the project. (The BOD may relax this condition considering the merit in each case, but this relaxation shall not be applicable to the Association / Societies / Partnership / SHG / Company etc). Insurance The life of the beneficiary and the business activity shall be insured from fire, theft, cyclone and other natural calamities with the agency identified by the Corporation and the said policy shall be endorsed in the name of the Corporation. In the event of any calamity, the compensation received from the Insurance Company shall be adjusted against the loan outstanding in the Corporation.

The scheme provides unemployed tribal persons with affordable loans ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹5,00,000 at a 4% annual interest rate, aiming to help them establish self-employment opportunities.

Benefit: Monetary Benefit: Loan assistance between ₹50,000 and ₹5,00,000, depending on the chosen business activity.- Interest Rate: 4% per annum.- Coverage: Applicable for 85 different types of businesses as identified by the department.

The scheme aims to support scheduled castes and scheduled tribes families below the poverty line through concessional loans and subsidies for self-employment in various sectors.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Loan Amount: Project loans from ₹20,000/- to ₹7,00,000/- through nationalized banks.- Subsidy: 50% of the project cost or up to ₹10,000/- as government subsidy.- Margin Money: 25% of project cost provided at 4% annual interest.

Launched on 1st January 1966, the scheme "Senior Hostel (Scheduled Tribes)" by the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh provides free accommodation and mess facilities to students from studying in Class 9th to 12th in a government/recognized school.

Benefit: Free Accommodation and Mess Facilities.

The scheme "Shaheed Gram Vikas Yojana" by the Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand, aims to develop villages linked to tribal freedom fighters. It provides housing, infrastructure, and other facilities to eligible Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to facilitate community level action for agriculture growth and management of natural resources. It offers financial assistance, wages for personnel, and funding for necessary office equipment for Tribal Farmers Co-operative.

Benefit: Financial Assistance for Operational Costs Wages of one resource person (Diploma in Agriculture) and one peon at the rates fixed under the Minimum Wages Act. A fixed amount of ₹25,000/- per annum for incurring expenditure on stationery, printing, etc.. Rent reimbursement for office space, subject to limits: Minimum limit of ₹8,000/- per month for urban areas; Minimum limit of ₹5,000/- per month for rural areas. The aforementioned rent will be enhanced accordingly @10% on the actual rent fixed after every three years. One-Time Financial Assistance One-time financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- for the procurement of a Desktop Computer, Uninterruptible Power Supply, computer table, cupboard, table, and chairs, etc. Benefit Disbursal The amount is disbursed in two installments. The first installment shall be 50% of the total sanctioned amount. The balance amount is disbursed only upon submission of a utilization certificate duly verified by the Zonal Agriculture Officer. Conditions for Continuation For availing the benefit for the subsequent year, the farmer co-operative shall submit an annual performance report. This report must be verified, signed, and recommended by the concerned Zonal Agriculture Officer. If the farmer co-operative fails to submit the annual performance report, the succeeding year benefit shall be kept on hold until the report is submitted. Wages Disbursement Wages for the resource person and peon shall be paid by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare on a monthly basis upon submission of attendance by the farmer Co-operatives.

The scheme aims to re-establish traditional artisan skills among SC/ST communities. It provides free training, infrastructure support, and marketing opportunities to artisans in selected artisan villages.

Benefit: Free Skill Training: Training is offered at three levels — awareness & orientation, basic training, and vocational training. Infrastructure Support: Development of artisan villages with electricity, water, roads, and common facilities. Marketing Assistance: Support for exhibitions, fairs, permanent haats, and promotion of Uttarakhand-branded craft products. Raw Material Support: Establishment of raw material depots like Wool Bank, Wood Bank. Recognition & Awards: Awards for outstanding artisans and participation in national/international fairs. Exposure Visits: Exposure tours to other states with advanced handicrafts.

"Short Term Loan Scheme" provides financial assistance/ loan as a credit to individuals from the Scheduled Tribe Community to meet the immediate expenses towards Education, Medical and Business needs. The scheme aims to improve their standard of living.

Benefit: Short Term Loan of up to ₹ 1,00,000/- as an advance to meet the Financial requirement urgently for Business/ Education/ Medical Purposes.
