The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the meritorious Higher Secondary School Students of Odisha having proficiency in Mathematics.

Benefit: The students of Class XI and XII fulfilling the eligibility criteria will receive ₹5,000/- per month for 10 months in a year. A student may enjoy more than one scholarship at a time, including PSMTS.

The scheme "Personality Development and Yogasana Training Camp (TASP)" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to enhance personality and promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through training for tribal youth by organizing seven-day camps.

Benefit: Training and Development: The scheme offers a seven-day residential training camp focused on personality development and yogasana. The training covers aspects of physical fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual awareness. Note: A total of 50 tribal youths (both male and female) are selected from each of the 17 targeted districts.

The scheme aims to improve the socio-economic status of PVTGs by saturating families and habitations with basic facilities and services. It provides 11 critical infrastructure and welfare interventions, including housing, water, electricity, and connectivity.

Benefit: Housing Provision of pucca houses to all eligible Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group households having kaccha houses (Target: 4,90,000 households). The basic unit cost of the house is enhanced to ₹2,00,000/-, with additional facilities raising it to ₹2,39,000/-. Road Connectivity Construction of connecting roads (Target: 8,000 KM) linking approximately 6,500 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group villages. The construction cost per Kilometer would be ₹1,00,00,000/-. Drinking Water Provision of piped water supply/Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) to all Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group households. Community water supply will be provided to villages/habitations with a population of less than 20 households. Health Deployment of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) (Target: 1,000 MMUs) in Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group habitations/villages. The cost is ₹33,88,000/- per MMU per annum, with Operational Expenditure (Op Ex) as per norms. Education Hostels Construction of residential hostels (Target: 500 hostels) in existing schools in Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group areas. The cost is ₹2,75,00,000/- per hostel construction, subject to the actual estimate as per existing cost sharing ratio. Anganwadi Centers (AWCs) Construction of Anganwadi Centers (Target: 2,500 AWCs) in Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group habitations/villages. The unit cost is ₹12,00,000/- per Anganwadi Center. Livelihood (VDVKs) Setting up of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) (Target: 500 VDVKs). An amount of ₹15,00,000/- meant for 300 members will be released on a pro rata basis. Multipurpose Centers (MPCs) Construction of Multipurpose Centers (Target: 1,000 MPCs). The unit cost is ₹60,00,000/- per unit. Solar Power/Electricity Provision of solar power solutions to 1,00,000 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group households. Funding is ₹50,000/- per household or actual cost for 300 Watt supply. Telecom Connectivity Installation of mobile towers (Target: 3,000 mobile towers) in all uncovered villages/habitations.

This scheme has been initiated keeping in view social background of candidates from the deprived section of society and to provide them an opportunity to undertake advanced studies and research in Science, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian Universities/Institutions.

Suitable single-seated hostel accommodation may be provided to the candidates in the institutions. Leave: - Leave for a maximum period of 30 days in a year in addition to public holidays may be taken by the Post-Doctoral Fellow with the approval of the Head of the Department. However, they are not entitled to any other vacations, such as summer, winter, and pooja vacations. - Candidates are eligible for maternity/ paternity leave at full rates of the fellowship as per Government of India rules once during the tenure of the award. - Academic leave: The fellow may be allowed to avail academic leave without fellowship and contingency for a period not exceeding one year during the tenure of the award for academic/teaching assignment/ foreign visit in connection with research work. The expenditure on travel cannot be claimed from UGC. The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure. Note: All kinds of leaves shall be approved by the University/Institute/College. Duration of Fellowship: - The tenure of the award is five years with no provision for further extension.

The scheme "Post-Matric Scholarship" started in 1945 by the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department, Madhya Pradesh, provides scholarships to Scheduled Tribe students studying in classes 11th, 12th, Colleges, PhD, and Professional Courses.

Benefit: This scholarship is provided to Scheduled Tribe students.

This is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, for the students of Scheduled Tribe (ST) for studies in India. This scheme is for pursuing higher education starting from class XI to Post Graduation courses in India.

The provisions of Disability allowance will also apply to leprosy-cured and students having sickle cell Anemia or Thalassemia as notified by Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment Note 3: Under “National fellowship & Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students” Scheme [Top class Scholarship], MoTA is providing Scholarships to students for pursuing graduation and post-graduation courses in Top Class Institutes (currently 252) across India. To avoid duplicity, students pursuing courses in such Institutes will not be entitled for benefit under Post Matric Scholarship. Scholarship holder under this scheme can hold only one scholarship/stipend at a time. A centrally sponsored scholarship scheme by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for students from scheduled tribes pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. Components of the Scheme: The scholarship has two components: - Component 1: Payment of compulsory fees charged by educational institutions subject to the limit fixed by the concerned State. - Component 2: Payment of Maintenance amount varying from ₹230/- to ₹1200/- per month, depending upon the course of study pursued by the student.

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has launched the Post Matric Scholarship to ST students of the Nagaland scheme for providing socio-economic welfare to the students belonging to the residentship of Nagaland state. The student must be studying or getting admission to the post-matric class.

Benefit: To provide social security provisions to the students of post-metric classes. Students will be able to pursue studies. To provide financial assistance to these students to complete their studies at the college level. Providing socio-economic welfare to the students belonging to the residentship of Nagaland state.

The scheme has been initiated to provide opportunity to deprived sections of the society, viz. SC/ST for undertaking postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. in recognised Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges.

Benefit: The tenure of the award is for two/three years depending upon the tenure of the postgraduate course and not for an extended period of study, if any. Candidates selected for the award of PG scholarships (under ME/M.Tech.) shall be provided a Scholarship @ ₹7800/-per month for the duration of the PG Scholarship. For other courses, the amount of scholarship will be paid @₹4500/- per month. No contingency is payable to the students selected under the scheme with effect from the selection year 2017-18. The scholarship shall be payable to the awardee from the date of joining the Post Graduate 1 year course during the selection year.

The “Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Students-Bihar” aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students from Schedule Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) for their post-secondary education.

Benefit: Scholarship and maintenance allowance will be payable on the basis of the criteria prescribed in the resolution issued by the Government of India from time to time.

The scheme aims to enable eligible Scheduled Tribe students to undertake quality education from the post-matriculation to the post-graduate level. It provides financial assistance covering compulsory course fees and monthly stipends for intended beneficiaries, including hostellers and day scholars.

Benefit: Fee Component The scheme covers the payment of compulsory non-refundable fees for the recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary course pursued by the student. There is a fee ceiling of ₹2,50,000/- per annum per student for Engineering courses in private sector institutes. There is a fee ceiling of ₹6,00,000/- per annum per student for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Master of Surgery, and Doctor of Medicine courses in private sector institutes. There is a fee ceiling of ₹1,00,000/- per annum per student for all other courses in private sector institutes. Monthly Stipend (Payable For A Maximum Of 10 Months Annually) For Group I (Degree and Post Graduate professional courses): Hostellers receive ₹1,200/- per month (₹12,000/- annually), and day scholars receive ₹550/- per month (₹5,500/- annually). For Group II (Non-professional Degree and Post Graduate courses): Hostellers receive ₹820/- per month (₹8,200/- annually), and day scholars receive ₹530/- per month (₹5,300/- annually). For Group III (Vocational, Industrial Training Institute, and 3-year diploma courses): Hostellers receive ₹570/- per month (₹5,700/- annually), and day scholars receive ₹300/- per month (₹3,000/- annually). For Group IV (Post-matriculation non-degree courses): Hostellers receive ₹380/- per month (₹3,800/- annually), and day scholars receive ₹230/- per month (₹2,300/- annually). Additional Disability Allowance Specially-abled hosteller students receive an additional allowance of ₹800/- per month (₹9,600/- annually). Specially-abled day scholar students receive an additional allowance of ₹600/- per month (₹7,200/- annually). Benefit Disbursal Details The scholarship amounts are disbursed exclusively through the Direct Benefit Transfer mode directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The stipend is payable monthly, calculated from 1st April or from the month of admission, whichever is later, until the month in which the annual examinations are completed. Conditions for Availment and Continuation The continuous disbursement of the scholarship is strictly dependent on the satisfactory academic progress, good conduct, and regularity in attendance of the enrolled scholars. The scholarship will be immediately cancelled or withheld if the student resorts to strikes or maintains irregular attendance without formal permission from the institution authorities. The scholarship will not be renewed if the student fails in a particular academic year, and the benefits will be paused until the student clears that class and gets promoted to the next class.

The scheme aims to develop selected villages with significant Scheduled Tribe population into model villages by providing basic infrastructure and improving socio-economic conditions.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: ₹20,38,000/- per village for infrastructure gap filling and development activities. - Infrastructure Development: Support for roads, drinking water, sanitation, education, health, and livelihood infrastructure. - Village Development Plan (VDP): Preparation and execution of need-based development plans for selected villages. - Convergence Support: Integration with existing Central and State schemes to maximize development impact. - Awards And Incentives: ₹5,00,000/- per village at State level for best performing villages and ₹10,00,000/- per village at National level for top selected villages.

The scheme aims to promote livelihood generation and income enhancement of tribal communities through value addition, processing, and marketing of tribal products.

Benefit: Livelihood Support: Provides support for income generation through value addition and processing of Minor Forest Produce. - Formation of SHGs and VDVKs: Supports creation of Van Dhan Self Help Groups (up to 20 members) and Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (around 300 members). - Infrastructure Support: Provides assistance for setting up processing units, storage facilities, and haat bazaars. - Market Linkages: Facilitates marketing of tribal products through TRIFED and other platforms. - Capacity Building: Offers training and skill development for tribal beneficiaries.

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG), introduced the ‘"Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana 2.0" in India. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide free LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) connections to women from below-poverty-line.

Benefit: Cash assistance for PMUY connections is provided by the Government of India - ₹1600 (for a connection 14.2kg cylinder/ ₹1150 for a 5 kg cylinder). The cash assistance covers: Security Deposit of Cylinder – ₹1250 for 14.2 kg cylinder/ ₹ 800 for 5 kg cylinder. Pressure Regulator – ₹150. LPG Hose – ₹100. Domestic Gas Consumer Card – ₹25. Inspection/ Installation/ Demonstration charges – ₹75. Additionally, All PMUY beneficiaries will be provided with first LPG refill and Stove (hotplate) both free of cost along with their deposit-free connection by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).

The scheme provides comprehensive support through six key components, including integrated village development under Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana, development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups, support to Tribal Research Institutes, and Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships.

Benefit: Village Development Provision of ₹20,38,000/- per village under the Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana to bridge gaps in eight sectors including road connectivity, telecom connectivity, schools, Anganwadi Centres, health sub-centres, drinking water facilities, drainage, and solid waste management. PVTG Development Financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri PVTG Development Mission for essential amenities such as secure housing, clean drinking water, sanitation, improved access to education, health, nutrition, and road and telecom connectivity. Pre-Matric Scholarship Financial assistance for Scheduled Tribe students studying in Standard IX and X. Post-Matric Scholarship Financial assistance for Scheduled Tribe students studying in Class XI and above. Tribal Research Financial assistance to State Governments and Union Territories for Tribal Research Institutes to facilitate research, documentation, and preservation of tribal cultural heritage. Livelihood Support Procurement of Minor Forest Produces at Minimum Support Price and value addition training programs through Van Dhan Vikas Kendras under the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission. Residential Education Access to quality education for students from Class VI to XII through Eklavya Model Residential Schools in blocks with more than 50% ST population and at least 20,000 tribal persons.

The scheme aims to support original literary/research work related to tribal communities. Authors are provided financial assistance of ₹6,000 to ₹12,000 for publication.

Benefit: Monetary Assistance: - Authors of original manuscripts or research work related to tribal subjects receive financial support ranging from ₹6,000/- to ₹12,000/- for publication through reputed publishers.

This scheme provides financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe students who have passed national competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, CLAT, AIIMS, and NDA, and have taken admission in IIT, NIT, NLU, MBBS (government colleges located in Madhya Pradesh), AIIMS or NDA.

Benefit: Under this scheme, eligible students are provided with the following incentives: - A financial assistance of ₹50,000/- is provided to students whose annual parental income is up to ₹3,00,000/-. - A financial assistance of ₹25,000/- is provided to students whose annual parental income exceeds ₹3,00,000/-. Note: The incentive amount is paid into the applicant’s bank account linked to Aadhaar.

This scheme provides free pre-examination training, boarding, and lodging for Adi Dravidar and Tribal community candidates preparing for All India Service Examinations like IAS, IPS, and IRS.

Benefit: Coaching: Free coaching for All India Service Examinations (IAS, IPS, IRS, etc.). - Boarding: Free boarding and lodging for candidates. Note: Mess Charges ₹1,200/- per month should be paid by the students whose parental income is above ₹1,00,000/- per annum.

A scholarship scheme by Ministry of Tribal Affairs for regular, full time students from Scheduled Tribe studying in Class 9th and 10th, in a Government School or in a School recognized by Govt. or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.

Benefit: Scholarship for 10 months: ₹ 225 per month for Day Scholars; ₹ 525 per month for Hostellers. Books and Ad hoc Grant: ₹ 750 per annum for Day Scholars; ₹ 1000 per annum for Hostellers. Additional Allowances for Person with Disability (PwD) studying in private unaided Schools - Reader Allowance for Blind students: ₹160. Transport Allowance for students with disabilities (as defined in the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995), if such students do not reside in the hostel which is within the premises of the Educational Institution: ₹160. Escort Allowance for Severely Disabled (i.e. with 80% or higher disability) Day Scholars/Students with low extremity disability: ₹160. Helper Allowance admissible to any employee of the hostel willing to extend help to a severely orthopedically handicapped student residing in the hostel of an Educational Institution who may need the assistance of a helper: ₹160. Coaching Allowance to Mentally Retarded and Mentally ill Students: ₹240.

Under this scheme, free coaching and monthly scholarships are provided to eligible Scheduled Tribe students appearing for exams like IAS, PCS, engineering, medical, NDA, Group ‘C’ exams and other competitive examinations.

Benefit: Free Coaching: Provided for competitive exams such as IAS, PCS, Engineering, Medical, Nursing, NDA, Group ‘C’, and others. Monthly Scholarship: ₹1,500/- per month for external (non-local) students. ₹750/- per month for local students.

The scheme aims to support Scheduled Tribe children in classes 9th and 10th to minimize drop-out rates and aid progression to higher education. The scheme provides a recurring monthly scholarship, an annual book grant, and disability allowances directly to the Scheduled Tribe student beneficiaries.

Benefit: Scholarship for 10 Months Day Scholars receive a scholarship of ₹225/- monthly (₹2,250/- annually). Hostelers receive ₹525/- monthly (₹5,250/- annually). Books and Ad Hoc Grant Day Scholars receive a lump sum grant of ₹750/-, and Hostelers receive a grant of ₹1,000/-. Additional Disability Allowance Divyangjan students, leprosy-cured students, and students having sickle cell anemia or Thalassemia receive an additional grant paid for all twelve months. Hosteler students receive ₹800/- monthly (₹9,600/- annually), and Day Scholars receive ₹600/- monthly (₹7,200/- annually). Disbursement Mode Benefits are distributed directly to the student's bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), preferably using the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System. Conditions The award once made will continue, subject to good conduct and regularity in attendance. The scholarship will be renewed for Class X after the student successfully passes Class IX. If a student has to repeat a class, they will not receive the scholarship for the same class twice.
