The scheme "Personality Development and Yogasan Training Camp for Schedule Caste Youth" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual development of Scheduled Caste youth through 7-day training camps.

Benefit: Training: The selected Scheduled Caste youth will receive 7 days of training focused on personality development and yogasana.

Under this scheme, the Corporation provides loans/benefits to individuals from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, whose annual family income does not exceed ₹1,80,000/-, in both rural and urban areas for self-employment income-generating activities such as piggery farming.

Benefit: Project Cost Ceiling: - Up to ₹1,50,000 /-. Subsidy: - Subsidy @ 50% of the total project cost (Maximum amount of subsidy is ₹10,000/-) Bank Loan: - Besides subsidy, the composite loan i.e. subsidy, and the balance amount of the bank loan is provided by the banks to the seller of the assets on behalf of the beneficiaries.

The scheme provides capital assistance for setting up large-scale Recirculatory Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and Biofloc culture systems to promote high-yield, sustainable fish farming.

Benefit: The project cost is ₹50,00,000/- RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) Subsidy: A 20% subsidy is available for the General Category. A 25% subsidy is offered for SC (Scheduled Caste) and Women beneficiaries. Biofloc Subsidy: A 40% subsidy is available for the General Category. A 60% subsidy is offered for SC (Scheduled Caste) and Women beneficiaries.

This scheme has been initiated keeping in view social background of candidates from the deprived section of society and to provide them an opportunity to undertake advanced studies and research in Science, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian Universities/Institutions.

Leave: - Leave for a maximum period of 30 days in a year in addition to public holidays may be taken by the Post-Doctoral Fellow with the approval of the Head of the Department. However, they are not entitled to any other vacations, such as summer, winter, and pooja vacations. - Candidates are eligible for maternity/ paternity leave at full rates of the fellowship as per Government of India rules once during the tenure of the award. - Academic leave: The fellow may be allowed to avail academic leave without fellowship and contingency for a period not exceeding one year during the tenure of the award for academic/teaching assignment/ foreign visit in connection with research work. The expenditure on travel cannot be claimed from UGC. The period of leave without fellowship will be counted towards the tenure. Note: All kinds of leaves shall be approved by the University/Institute/College. Duration of Fellowship: - The tenure of the award is five years with no provision for further extension.

The scheme "Post Matric Scholarship for Students belonging to Scheduled Caste Community" was launched by the Mizoram Scholarship Board, Government of Mizoram. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to students belonging to Scheduled Castes pursuing post-matriculation.

Benefit: Financial assistance is provided to the students. _The scheme is funded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Government of Mizoram in 90:10 ratio._

The scheme aims to increase higher education enrolment among Scheduled Caste students, especially those from poor households. Through this scheme, financial assistance towards fees and academic expenses is provided to eligible Scheduled Caste students.

Benefit: Academic allowance for Day Scholars: ₹2,500 to ₹7,000 per annum. Academic allowance for Hostellers: ₹4,000 to ₹13,500 per annum. Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, including tuition fees. Additional 10% allowance for Divyang students. Students pursuing CA/ICWA/CS/ICFA are treated as day scholars. Financial support for higher education and professional courses.

Launched in 1976-77, the "Post Matric Students of Class 11th &12th " scheme is a welfare initiative by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme provides a facility for the reimbursement of scholarship fees to students.

Benefit: The facility of reimbursement of scholarship fee is provided to the students of class 11th and 12th.

Under the Post-Matric Scholarship is a Madhya Pradesh Government initiative to provide financial assistance to economically weaker social class students to pursue higher education after matriculation.

Benefit: Reimbursement of full fee for professional courses when the fee is fixed by the Admission and Fee Regulatory Commission. Reimbursement of full fee prescribed in the course of government institutions In the courses of non-government colleges, half of the compulsory fee is reimbursed up to the income limit of ₹2,50,000/-, and for students with an income limit of ₹2,50,000/- to ₹6,00,000/-. The scheme has been initiated to provide opportunity to deprived sections of the society, viz. SC/ST for undertaking postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. in recognised Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges.

Benefit: The tenure of the award is for two/three years depending upon the tenure of the postgraduate course and not for an extended period of study, if any. Candidates selected for the award of PG scholarships (under ME/M.Tech.) shall be provided a Scholarship @ ₹7800/-per month for the duration of the PG Scholarship. For other courses, the amount of scholarship will be paid @₹4500/- per month. No contingency is payable to the students selected under the scheme with effect from the selection year 2017-18. The scholarship shall be payable to the awardee from the date of joining the Post Graduate 1 year course during the selection year.

The “Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Students-Bihar” aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students from Schedule Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) for their post-secondary education.

Benefit: Scholarship and maintenance allowance will be payable on the basis of the criteria prescribed in the resolution issued by the Government of India from time to time.

With a view to enabling an area-based development approach, a new scheme Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) was launched during 2009-10. The Scheme aims at the integrated development of Scheduled Castes majority villages.

Benefit: Holistic Village Development - Focuses on Scheduled Caste (SC)-majority villages. - Aims to transform them into model villages with access to all basic services. Financial Support - ₹20 lakh per village for filling critical gaps in infrastructure and services. Village Development Plan (VDP) - A custom 5-year development plan based on baseline survey and needs. Convergence of Schemes - Integrates multiple central/state schemes like PMAY-G, MGNREGS, Ujjwala, SBM, etc. Infrastructure Improvements - Roads, electricity, sanitation, water, healthcare, schools, Anganwadis, etc. Social Empowerment - Promotes social harmony, inclusion, and awareness among SC communities. Monitoring Framework - Tracks progress across 50+ indicators in education, health, livelihoods, etc. No Direct Cash Benefit - Individuals benefit indirectly through improved village facilities and access to schemes.

The scheme aims to achieve integrated development of selected villages primarily through implementation of existing Central and State Government schemes in a convergent manner, ensuring access to quality services and infrastructure development in villages having SC population more than 40%.

Benefit: Gap-filling Fund: ₹20,00,000/- per newly selected village for carrying out infrastructure developmental requirements which cannot be carried out through convergence with other schemes.- Administrative Expenses: ₹1,00,000/- per village for technical resource support, training and capacity building, awareness generation, publicity, and Management Information System development and maintenance.- Additional Round Funding: ₹9,50,000/- per village for Gap-filling component and ₹50,000/- for administrative expenses after completion of 5 years for continuous development.- Convergence Support: Access to 3 to 4 times of Gap-filling funds from existing Central and State Schemes or matching grants from State Governments.- Infrastructure Development: Development of adequate infrastructure necessary for socio-economic development including drinking water, sanitation, education, health, rural roads, housing, electricity facilities.- Capacity Building: Training and orientation programs for Village Level Convergence Committee members and other functionaries. Disbursement Direct transfer to State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, then to District Administrations. Released in two installments - First installment (₹80,000/- or ₹40,000/- as applicable) immediately on selection of villages; Second installment (₹20,00,000/- or ₹9,50,000/- as applicable) after Village Development Plan finalization. The scheme "PM-DAKSH", launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJ&E), aims to empower socially, educationally, and economically marginalized groups like SCs, OBCs, EWS, DNTs, Safai Mitras, and Waste Pickers by enhancing their skills through high-quality training.

Benefit: Key benefits: - Training free of cost for the trainees, 100% grants by Government. - Stipend will be given to trainees during the period of training. - Trained candidates will be provided certification after successful completion of training and assessment. - Trained candidates will be provided placement after assessment and certification. Category of Skilling Programmes: Up-skilling/Re-skilling under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): - Target Group: Up-skilling / Re-skilling under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will only be applicable to SafaiMitras including waster pickers who constitute the bottom of the pyramid. - Curriculum: In respect of Safai Mitras including waste pickers, the curriculum will include the programmes on safe & healthy sanitation practices, occupational practices as per relevant and approved Qualification Packs (QPs). Certification would be aligned with the standard process. - Period of Training: The duration of the training programmes will be of approximately 35 hours keeping in mind the occupational hours of the trainees. - Training Cost: The training cost will be limited to extent of Common Cost Norms (CCN) issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) as applicable from time to time. - Other Expenses: As the trainees are already employed, they will be paid @₹500/- per person to Safai Mitras including Waste Pickers in the form of stipend, for duration of training of Up-skilling and Re-skilling under RPL, towards compensation of their wage loss, during the period of training. Short-Term Courses (focus on wage/self-employment): - Target Group: Most disempowered groups belonging to SC/OBC/EWS/DNT and Sanitation Workers including Waste Pickers and their dependents having aspirations to be employed in sectors having good demand in job market with suitable wage. - Curriculum: The Curriculum of the training programmes will be as per National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)/National Occupational Standard (NOS), issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India in various job roles with focus on wage and self-employment opportunities such as self-employed tailors training, furniture making, food processing, carpet weaving, beautician workers, leather work, latex harvesting, tyre fitting along with financial and digital literacy, etc. Training to be delivered through accredited and affiliated training centres. - Period of Training: The duration of the training programmes will be less than 1200 hours, as stipulated in National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs). - Training Cost: The training cost will be as per Common Cost Norms for NSQF job roles or as stipulated by concerned board as applicable and as amended from time to time. - Other Expenses: 1. For non-residential training programmes, the trainees will be paid stipend @ ₹1,500/- per month for SC candidates, ₹1,000/- per month to OBCs/EWSs/DNTs and ₹1,500/- per month to Sanitation Workers including waste pickers and their dependents. 1. For residential training programmes, wherever necessary, the trainees will be provided boarding and lodging and expenses compensated within CCN, for complete duration of the training programmes. No stipend will be separately payable except in case of Safai Mitras, Waste Pickers & their dependents who will be paid ₹500/- per month. Entrepreneurial Development Programmes (EDP): - Implementing Agency: Ministry will approach National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) or any other organisation viz Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for conducting EDP training.

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG), introduced the ‘"Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana 2.0" in India. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide free LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) connections to women from below-poverty-line.

Benefit: Cash assistance for PMUY connections is provided by the Government of India - ₹1600 (for a connection 14.2kg cylinder/ ₹1150 for a 5 kg cylinder). The cash assistance covers: Security Deposit of Cylinder – ₹1250 for 14.2 kg cylinder/ ₹ 800 for 5 kg cylinder. Pressure Regulator – ₹150. LPG Hose – ₹100. Domestic Gas Consumer Card – ₹25. Inspection/ Installation/ Demonstration charges – ₹75. Additionally, All PMUY beneficiaries will be provided with first LPG refill and Stove (hotplate) both free of cost along with their deposit-free connection by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
