Mata Shabri Mahila Sashktikaran Yojana

The "Mata Shabri Mahila Sashktikaran Yojana" scheme aims to provide subsidies to purchase LPG gas connections and stoves, thereby reducing their dependence on firewood for cooking & improving the quality of life of women from scheduled caste families living below the poverty line (BPL).

Benefit: Subsidy: The maximum subsidy amount is ₹1,300/-. Note: The subsidy covers 50% of the total cost of purchasing an LPG connection and stove.

The National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education promotes the girl child's enrolment of 14-18 years age group at secondary stage, who passes class 8th and subsequently drops out for various socio-economic reasons.

Benefit: A sum of ₹3000/- would be deposited under term deposit/ fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child. The term/ period of the deposit may be counted from the date of deposit to the date on which the girl child attains the age of 18 years. No premature withdrawal will be allowed.

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG), introduced the ‘"Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana 2.0" in India. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide free LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) connections to women from below-poverty-line.

Benefit: Cash assistance for PMUY connections is provided by the Government of India - ₹1600 (for a connection 14.2kg cylinder/ ₹1150 for a 5 kg cylinder). The cash assistance covers: Security Deposit of Cylinder – ₹1250 for 14.2 kg cylinder/ ₹ 800 for 5 kg cylinder. Pressure Regulator – ₹150. LPG Hose – ₹100. Domestic Gas Consumer Card – ₹25. Inspection/ Installation/ Demonstration charges – ₹75. Additionally, All PMUY beneficiaries will be provided with first LPG refill and Stove (hotplate) both free of cost along with their deposit-free connection by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).

Savitribai Phule Self-Help Scheme

The scheme provides financial support to unemployed women from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category in the state to help them start businesses in industry, service, or trade sectors.

Benefit: Margin Money Assistance: Provides financial support covering 50% of the project cost, up to a maximum of ₹15,000/-.

The scheme provides financial assistance to Scheduled Caste girl students of Madhya Pradesh enrolled in Class 11 to encourage them to continue their education and prevent dropouts.

Benefit: Eligible SC girl students of Class 11 receive an annual financial incentive of ₹3,000/-, credited directly to their bank account

The aim of the scheme is to enable Scheduled Caste Widows/girls/destitute women for self-employment. A stipend of Rs.600/- P.M. and raw material costing Rs.300/- per month per trainee is given to a trainee for getting training from the nearest Kalyan Kendar run by this department.
