The scheme "PM-DAKSH", launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJ&E), aims to empower socially, educationally, and economically marginalized groups like SCs, OBCs, EWS, DNTs, Safai Mitras, and Waste Pickers by enhancing their skills through high-quality training.

Category of Skilling Programmes: Up-skilling/Re-skilling under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): - Target Group: Up-skilling / Re-skilling under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will only be applicable to SafaiMitras including waster pickers who constitute the bottom of the pyramid. - Curriculum: In respect of Safai Mitras including waste pickers, the curriculum will include the programmes on safe & healthy sanitation practices, occupational practices as per relevant and approved Qualification Packs (QPs). Certification would be aligned with the standard process. - Period of Training: The duration of the training programmes will be of approximately 35 hours keeping in mind the occupational hours of the trainees. - Training Cost: The training cost will be limited to extent of Common Cost Norms (CCN) issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) as applicable from time to time. - Other Expenses: As the trainees are already employed, they will be paid @₹500/- per person to Safai Mitras including Waste Pickers in the form of stipend, for duration of training of Up-skilling and Re-skilling under RPL, towards compensation of their wage loss, during the period of training. Short-Term Courses (focus on wage/self-employment): - Target Group: Most disempowered groups belonging to SC/OBC/EWS/DNT and Sanitation Workers including Waste Pickers and their dependents having aspirations to be employed in sectors having good demand in job market with suitable wage. - Curriculum: The Curriculum of the training programmes will be as per National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)/National Occupational Standard (NOS), issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India in various job roles with focus on wage and self-employment opportunities such as self-employed tailors training, furniture making, food processing, carpet weaving, beautician workers, leather work, latex harvesting, tyre fitting along with financial and digital literacy, etc. Training to be delivered through accredited and affiliated training centres. - Period of Training: The duration of the training programmes will be less than 1200 hours, as stipulated in National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs). - Training Cost: The training cost will be as per Common Cost Norms for NSQF job roles or as stipulated by concerned board as applicable and as amended from time to time. - Other Expenses: 1. For non-residential training programmes, the trainees will be paid stipend @ ₹1,500/- per month for SC candidates, ₹1,000/- per month to OBCs/EWSs/DNTs and ₹1,500/- per month to Sanitation Workers including waste pickers and their dependents. 1. For residential training programmes, wherever necessary, the trainees will be provided boarding and lodging and expenses compensated within CCN, for complete duration of the training programmes. No stipend will be separately payable except in case of Safai Mitras, Waste Pickers & their dependents who will be paid ₹500/- per month. Entrepreneurial Development Programmes (EDP): - Implementing Agency: Ministry will approach National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) or any other organisation viz Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for conducting EDP training.

"Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme (Saral Vidya Sahay) for SC and OBC (V to VIII)" was introduced by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to support parents of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes for the education of their wards.

The "Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship" is an initiative by the Maharashtra Government, specifically designed to encourage scheduled caste students to pursue higher secondary education. The scholarship aims to enhance the educational standards & competitiveness of students.

Benefit: Scholarship Rate: Class 11th: ₹300/- per month. Class 12th: ₹300/- per month. Duration: Ten months Note: Totaling ₹3,000 per academic year.

The scheme aims to provide financial support by reimbursing tuition and compulsory fees for SC/ST/OBC students from low-income families (below ₹3,00,000/- per annum) studying in recognized schools in Delhi. Beneficiaries must meet academic and attendance criteria.

Benefit: Reimbursement Amount: Maximum reimbursement of ₹48,000/- or actual paid fees (whichever is less) covering tuition, lab, and library fees. Conditions for Disbursement Student must score 50% and above marks in the preceding year. Student must have at least 70% attendance in the preceding year. Mode of Disbursement: Direct transfer to the student’s bank account (joint account with parent/guardian allowed).

Under the scheme, loans of up to ₹10,00,000/- are provided to young professionals for setting up Doctors' Clinics, Nursing Homes, Physiotherapy Clinics, Bio-Medical Labs, Lawyers' Offices, Engineering Units, Chemist Shops, Architect Offices, and similar establishments.

Under this scheme, free bicycle assistance is provided to Socially and Educationally Backward class girls studying in Class 9 in government and grant-in-aid schools across Gujarat.

Benefit: Free bicycle provided to each eligible girl student.

The objective of the scheme is to provide additional scholarship to the OBC students belonging to the non-creamy layer of Andaman & Nicobar Islands for pursuing higher education after Secondary (X)/Senior Secondary (XII), in government-recognized Polytechnic/ITI/College/University anywhere in India.

Benefit: Value of Scholarship: 1. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹1000/- per month shall be sanctioned to the eligible students belonging to the OBC category. Payment and Mode of Disbursal of Scholarship: 1. The scholarship shall be payable for a duration of ten months in an academic session. 1. The scholarship shall be admissible only to the passed-out students of the previous academic session. (e.g. A student after passing Class XI/Class XII will be eligible for a scholarship only after he/she completes 1st year of the higher education/professional course ) 1. The scholarship amount shall be directly credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the beneficiary by the Department of Social Welfare. 1. For Postgraduate courses in the above fields and other technical/professional courses: Hostellers: ₹1,860/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹960/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-B Diploma-level courses in Indian medicine, engineering, technology, architecture, and other vocational courses, as well as postgraduate courses in science subjects: Hostellers: ₹1,110/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹720/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-C Certificate courses in engineering, technology, architecture, medicine, and other vocational courses (minimum duration of one year): Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Course of Study Group-D General courses up to graduate level: Hostellers: ₹804/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹420/- per month for 12 months. Postgraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, and other subjects: Hostellers: ₹930/- per month for 12 months; Day Scholars: ₹630/- per month for 12 months. Conditions for Disbursement The scholarship amount will be reduced to 50% if a student fails the annual examination but continues studies, except in cases of medical grounds or natural calamities.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from SC/ST/OBC/Minority communities studying in classes I to XII in government or recognised schools in Delhi. The scheme offers varying scholarship amounts based on class and academic performance, ensuring support for education.

Class 9th to 10th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹1,620/- per Annum (55% to 60% Marks in Previous Class). ₹2,040/- per Annum (Above 60% Marks in Previous Class). Class 11th to 12th SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students ₹3,000/- per Annum (55% to 70% Marks in Previous Class). ₹4,500/- per Annum (Above 70% Marks in Previous Class). _The bank account should be in the name of the student (a joint account with a parent/guardian is permissible)._

The scheme aims to ensure the educational empowerment of OBC and EBC students. Through this scheme, fellowships and interest subsidies on overseas education loans are provided to eligible beneficiaries.

Benefit: The scheme provides 1,000 Junior Research Fellowships per year for eligible OBC students. Out of the total 1,000 slots, 750 fellowship slots are allocated for subjects covered under the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test – Junior Research Fellowship. The remaining 250 fellowship slots are allocated for subjects covered under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test – Junior Research Fellowship for Science streams. These 1,000 fellowship slots are over and above the number of Other Backwards Classes students selected under the normal reservation policy of the Government for University Grants Commission fellowships. Rate of fellowship: The rates of fellowship for JRF and SRF will be at par with the UGC Fellowships. In case hostel accommodation offered by the University/institution is refused, the student will forfeit his claim of HRA. Other facilities, such as medical facilities, leave, including maternity leave, will be governed as per the guidelines of the UGC in case of their fellowship programme.
