The scheme “Financial Assistance Scheme for Higher Competitive/ Entrance Examination to Scheduled Castes/ Backward Classes Students” was launched by the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana.

Benefit: Under the scheme, the Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes candidates will be entitled to free coaching for IAS and other higher services competitive examinations. 1. The Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes candidates can avail of postal/classroom coaching for civil services Examinations like IFS, IAS & Allied Services, and any other services examinations conducted by the UPSC/HPSC/LIC/GIC/ RRB/ BRB, etc., and any other recruiting agency of State and Central Govt. in various private professional institutions. 1. The personal, postal coaching for pre- Entrance examination will also be provided in PMT/PET, and any other coaching for interviews will also be got provided from private institutions. 1. Benefit under the scheme can be availed by a particular candidate two times, irrespective of the number of chances he/she may be entitled to in a particular competitive examination.

The scheme “Financial Assistance to Institutions/Societies Belonging to Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes” was launched by the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana.

Benefit: Financial Assistance up to ₹2.00 lakhs may be sanctioned by the Minister in charge, Welfare of Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes. 1. The Chief Minister may sanction grants exceeding ₹2.00 lakhs in genuine cases. 1. In deserving cases, additional funds can also be sanctioned later on for construction/completion/ repair/ renovation of the infrastructure or for providing basic amenities in the building, or for any other purpose. Note 01: Financial Assistance will be sanctioned only for the work to be executed within Haryana State. Note 02: The grant will be utilized for the purpose for which it is sanctioned and not for any other purpose within one year of the date of receipt of the grant. Unspent balance, if any, should have to be returned to the competent authority. In case of default, the amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue. Note 03: The institutions shall incur the expenditure out of this grant in the most economical manner. Note 04: Any institution/society found guilty of non-fulfillment of the conditions shall be debarred from being considered for release of Government grant for a minimum period of three years or more as may be decided by the competent authority.

The scheme provides financial grants to the OBC students for appearing in the UPSC Mains Exam. An amount upto ₹50,000/- is provided to each beneficiary. The assistance is extended depending on the applicant meeting the eligibility criteria and the documents submitted.

Benefit: An amount of up to ₹50,000/- will be provided to each beneficiary, subject to budget provision.

The scheme “Financial Assistance To Purchase Singel Net / Small Rampon Net & Its Accessories” is a scheme by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, a 50% subsidy is provided to the fishermen of Goa for the purchase of Singel Net/ Small Rampon Net and its accessories.

Benefit: Subsidy to the extent of 50% of the actual cost limited to ₹ 50,000/- for the purchase of Singel Net/ Small Rampon Net and its accessories, after every five years.

The Government of Gujarat provides financial assistance to students belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) who are studying in self-financed medical and engineering colleges/universities.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - ₹300/- per month (₹3,000/- annually) towards mess charges for most eligible SEBC students. - ₹700/- per month (₹7,000/- annually) towards mess charges for selected students (limited number of beneficiaries). - ₹1,500/- per month (₹15,000/- annually) for SEBC students studying in self-financed medical/engineering colleges and residing in hostels (with a fixed ceiling on the number of beneficiaries). Duration: Maximum of 10 months in an academic year.

To provide high-quality free coaching to economically disadvantaged Scheduled Castes (SCs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and eligible beneficiaries of the PM CARES Children Scheme for competitive exams in public and private sector employment and admission into professional courses.

The scheme provides financial support to Backward, Most Backward Classes, and Denotified Communities students pursuing 3-year undergraduate courses (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.) in Government and Government Aided Arts and Science Colleges.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: Special fees and other non-refundable compulsory fees are paid as prescribed by Government and examination fee in full.

This scheme provides full coverage of tuition fees, special fees, and examination fees for Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), and Denotified Communities (DNC) students pursuing professional courses.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - Full payment of tuition fees. - Coverage of special and other non-refundable compulsory fees. - Full reimbursement of examination fees as per government norms.

This scheme provides free education scholarships for students from Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, and Denotified Communities pursuing 3-year Diploma courses in Government and Government-Aided Polytechnics.

Benefit: Financial Assistance: - Full payment of tuition fees. - Coverage of special and other non-refundable compulsory fees. - Full reimbursement of examination fees as per government norms.

"Free Employment Oriented Training to Educated Unemployed Youth of Backward Class and Minority Class" aims to provide quality pre-examination training for various employment-oriented competitive examinations to talented but economically disadvantaged young men and women.

Benefit: Free coaching for employment-oriented competitive examinations. Stipend support during the training period. Access to well-equipped coaching facilities. Ideal academic environment for exam preparation.

The "Free Studentship" initiative, administered by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Meghalaya, is a state-sponsored program aimed at providing financial assistance to students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories for their tuition fees and other fee according to prescribed rates.

The scheme "Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana for OBC (Dhangar) Students" by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa aims to provide additional financial assistance to OBC (Dhangar) students to supplement their Post Matric Scholarship maintenance allowance.

"Home Nursing Scholarship" is a scholarship scheme by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, scholarships are provided to the students from Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Class / Minorities and also to the Students with Disability.

Benefit: COURSE FEES For Certificate Courses of Duration of at Least Six Months: ₹ 3,500/- or Actual Whichever is Less. A subsidy of Rs. 1,30,000/- is given to persons from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minority Communities, Single Women, or handicapped for the construction of the house.

"Integrated Hostel Scheme" by the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides free residential facilities, meals, and basic amenities to SC/ST/OBC students studying in classes 1st to 12th and also to the students pursuing college education.

Benefit: The hostel provides free residential facilities, including accommodation, electricity, water, meals, furniture, bedding, library, coaching, and basic amenities.

This is a sub-scheme under the “Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS)”, implemented by the Dept. of Industries, U.T. Administration Of DNH & DD, that aims to provide additional tools/equipment to SC/ST/OBC/EWS communities to generate adequate income and self-employment.

"Jan Nayak Pustakalaya evam Digital Adhyan Kendra" scheme aims to develop all Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Hostels, other backward class welfare hostels, and OBC girls’ hostels across the state.

Benefit: The scheme provides students with access to quality study materials, digital learning, and expert guidance to enhance their academic and competitive exam preparation.

The "Jan-Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kalyan Hostel Scheme" by the BC & EBC Welfare Department, Bihar provides hostel facilities for students near Saharsa District with food grains (9 kg rice, 6 kg wheat) and ₹1000/- per month as a grant.

Benefit: 9 kg rice and 6 kg wheat per student per month. ₹1000/- monthly grant under the Chief Minister’s Hostel Grant Scheme.

The "Jharkhand State Backward Classes Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme" aims to promote higher education among OBC students in Jharkhand. The scheme provides financial assistance to students pursuing professional and academic courses at the post-matriculation level.
